That V10 would be a good engine for a project car.
Yeah it would!!! I forget which one, but a kit car “super car” just came out, that you are supposed to source the Audi V10 for its engine!!! Wow!!!

It kinda reminds me of when I used to play SLRR with mods and I had a miata with a V16 swap with meth injection.
05-12ish S6 had a 5.2L V10 as did the S8 of the same vintage.
Look a Ford Fusion with nice glass to fix the other Fusion from the other day.
Those V10s are known for having timing chain guide issues, so if it doesn't run, that's probably why it's at the yard. Worth a pretty penny for the engine alone if it still runs, worth giving it a try.
The Audi V10, engine in good condition should be worth something. The Fiero GT was good, until it got stripped. Wonder why a car that came in as a whole unit got stripped. These have their own fans.

Aw man! If you weren’t so far away (I live in Arizona!) I would have wanted both of those Fiero GT’s!!!! They are SUPER HARD TO FIND AROUND HERE!!! Drop a LS engine in it (mild build) and you have a Supercar slayer!!!!
These sell for 10 to 25K in Arizona!! They are almost unobtainable, for under 7k in “running” condition…

Crush the Audi, the engine is toast and there are so many other little problems in that car, it's not even worth parting out. That V6 engine might be salvageable in the Fiero.
