- Finally! We got our first official look at Batman The Caped Crusader! Thoughts?
Batman: Caped Crusader is an upcoming animated TV series that will premiere on August 1, 2024. The series is about Bruce Wayne, a wealthy socialite who transforms into Batman after a family tragedy. As Batman, he fights for justice and gains allies in the Gotham City Police Department and City Hall, but his actions also have unexpected and deadly consequences.

The new generation of animation is now seeing even more effort and looking incredible. And this look gives you vibes of feeling an atmosphere of combining the Batman series of '92 and the 2000s.😍😍🦇
Those people in this version thinks he’s a villain, while we see him a hero. I’m looking forward to this series after Adventures with Superman season two is done. Plus I think Conroy’s legacy is in good hands.
I think they’re going for the original comic feel, which is serious, scary, and intimidating.
I miss Mr. Conroy very much and will never forget him.
please don't fall into the trap comparing Hamish to Kevin like a lot of people have 🙏
I’m not, but he is the golden standard, hard not to for me. But this is his own version.

I'm going to watch this but I'm not really sold on the villain designs. Batman looks good enough for me and the voice seems solid as you said.. we'll have to wait and see, I hope it turns out to be a good show.
honestly I just hope that the whole Black Jim Gordon and Asian Harley Quinn won't turn up in the long run as one of those stupid gimmicks specific to the 2020's like some of the stupid gimmicks Hollywood tried to sell us in the early 2000's and so forth.

I’m actually excited for this rest in peace Kevin Conroy now there’s been a lot of Batman animated movies, of course live action too but we have Superman TV shows all the time plus the new Superman animated series and we have the originals but last time we had a Batman series was Batman beyond the Batman and Batman the animated series and Justice league so I’m excited for this
it,s about dang time i am here for it i been waiting for this for awhile now since 2021 when the show talk about on facebook while i was on there i found out 2 years ago man well i am to watch this trailer here we go now.
Not all nostalgia... people like Bruce Timm and James Tucker have the same style and Timm literally said this is BTAS with the Kid Gloves off

I actually have only seen a few episodes of B:TAS. I like The Batman (2004) more. I have a lot of respect for Kevin Conroy, but he’s not the only Batman voice to me. I mean no one’s Batman impression is bad anyway.
Why does every voice actor need to be compared to Kevin, I don’t understand this thought process?

I like it and you can tell there using the look from animated series but with new age animation and im exicted and i really like the batman voice if you watched young justice he sounds very similar to green i forget his name but yeah
Im really excited. I think this will be the best adaption since btas. Hamish seems pretty good from the trailer. Not as good as conroy but i hope for more maturity in this series and have it be as good or better then xmen97.
Voice is decent, and certainly fits the period of the show (set in the 40s). While I prefer Troy Baker as the sucessor to Conroy, I feel that fits a much more modern Batman. Obviously there is no living up to Conroy, but this is not bad at all

If we do get them, it will be long along the line. Why? Because they make sure this show is quite grounded.
