Actually, Shaq's free throw form during his NBA rookie year was very decent. The problem happens when so-called experts had this dumb theory that his hands are too big for the basketball, so they had him use only his fingers, which made it more difficult for him to follow through on his shot. I blame the stupud experts that they gave Shaq in trying to "improve" his free throw. The best they could have done with Shaq was to have him shoot extra free throw shots after practice, practicing on his follow through and aim.
