I'm back for Part 2 with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Face - Model QP2520_90 to show you how to trim with confidence.
In this video, I go further, walking you step-by-step through use of all the attachments included with the Philips Norelco OneBlade Face - Model QP2520.
We dive in to this OneBlade review with the goal of creating a goatee. First, with the 5mm comb attachment on the beard. Then, we slowly begin trimming down the beard with the 3mm, followed by 1mm attachment. To finish, we use the Philips Norelco OneBlade razor itself, shaving down to skin and seeing the beard trimming detail we can achieve.
After using this Philips Norelco OneBlade Face for a second time, working down to the skin, I definitely have a new perspective. On the whole, for those who are trimming tight to the face (down to stubble) and are tired of shaving with a traditional razor, this Philips Norelco OneBlade is a great fit.
As you can see, I keep my goatee thicker, as the comb attachments are not large to work in there. However, other beard trimmers, such as the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 (seen in my previous video) are helpful with those with thicker beard cutting needs.
Overall, the Philips Norelco OneBlade Face Model QP2520 is a quality beard trimmer and shaver. It will not get you a completely clean shave, but will get you close enough. At the end of the day, you can achieve a great stubble look and find the detail you're looking for.
I highly recommend the Philips Norelco OneBlade Face - Model QP2520_90. For it's price on Amazon, it's worth a try, especially if it's summer and you need to ditch the big beard for that cooler, short stubble look.

Great video! Really helped me to see what all the OneBlade attachments can do. I'm def jumping on Amazon to pick one up. I've been using Dorco razors and they are horrible. I thought they were a good value, but damn, they don't last long and they don't get anywhere close to a smooth shave. Time for a switch to Philips Norelco. This trimmer sounds like a sweet deal. Thanks for the walk-through and awesome job on the goatee! Rock on! Can't wait to see you jump in to future videos that can address manscaping and those hard to reach areas.

The quality of the metal in their blades must not be that great. I hope the Philips Norelco OneBlade works well for you. Hi, great video. I own the qp2520 version too, and my experience is, if you want to shave a bit closer, use it with shaving cream/foam. It gets much closer that way. I even use it to shave my head. Greetings from Slovakia.

This trimmer will trim your beard in increments of 0.2mm starting from 0.4mm thru 2mm, 0.5mm increments from 2mm to 5mm and 1mm increments from 5mm to 7mm to get you that perfect stubble look. From what i see you got close shave. I'm not sure if this close like cartridge razor but considering that Philips oneblade unlike razor don't irritate skin maybe this is worth buying. I'm also thinking to buy Panasonic Arc 5 but problem is that i can't find it in my country

Mine does not shave the neck even remotely as well as yours! And I mean on the blade setting itself, I can shave the cheeks and they will be smooth as a PBA lane but the neck takes maybe 30 mins to get to match it, otherwise it leaves me with a neckbeard stubble, any advice, please?!

hey, cool review. I bought the OneBlade Pro probably half a year ago and I am very happy with it. My father also uses it sometimes but I didnt had to buy new blades even after using it a lot. One thing I wanted to know though is if it is possible to put the bodyblades on the pro version?

Of note, with the nether regions, it is recommended by Philips to shave the groin area with the OneBlade Face and Body unit and use the Skin Guard that comes with this. If this is not a close enough shave for you, Philips Norelco recommends using one of their bodygroomers, which offer a more skin friendly option as opposed to going in with a blade.
