I love the fact that they left the mask at the end after they killed the entire Richy Family. Like they did after every kill
and actually it were 5 killers in this movie but the two killers were already killed in the beginning (the one guy in the fridge and Jason (the guy from spiderman)
@@chasinggamer5977 i don’t count greg or jason as ghostface killers. firstly because we never see greg kill anyone. secondly other characters have put on the mask and killed someone with it like sam and sidney. he’s not a main killer anyways, just a douche

@@everli4311 like i said, other characters have done the same. Sam herself did all the things you just listened yet nobody counts her as the sixth or fifth or fourth ghostface of scream vi . therefore i’m not counting Jason as a ghostface
The best parts of Scream 6 were the bodega scene,Anika’s ladder kill and the subway scene
i commend the writing and the acting that made me feel so much for anika, who we barely know
I think the reason why Sidney’s absence didn’t impact the movie and the movie worked really good without her is because 1 she wasn’t needed for this movie we had her in the first of these for nostalgia, respect and to connect this story and 2 she wasn’t forgotten, I mean physically she was not there but they showed respect to her character by mentioning her and making her still part of the story so you feel she’s still around and can return later and remind you that she’s the original final girl instead of erasing her from the movie or franchise, I feel sorry for Campbell and I love her and Sidney and totally understand her situation but it was better this way, she was so wasted in 5 so much but her presence was needed. I hope she comes back at least in the last one and they pay her what she deserves she’s the face of this movies and franchise there is no scream without her and Sidney, I hope they make her come back in a really epic way and I hope they don’t make the final girls the killers that would be kind of cool but at the same time stupid (as goshtface said) I think Sam is just so confuse and scared to become her father that she is missing the point that she is not a killer and neither is in her blood the fact that that thought scares her is enough she just enjoyed killing Richie and them because they killed innocent people and some of them were their friends and almost killed her sister and there might be a part in every person that would “enjoy” that, she just happens to had a father that could not move on and went crazy and decided to become a murderer (still could happen to her if she doesn’t find help but that ending hints she understands that), nice reaction guys I enjoyed it a lot, actually thank you for the screams hahaha this movie was really good 🔥
Between Scream 4 and Scream (5) being an 11 year difference, definitely get the idea they're playing to a new generation hence the callbacks. If Neve were to come back for Scream 7 I wonder how many of the audience would relate with her now.

This is a fantastic franchise! We are 6 movies in & they still feel fresh. The kills in this one were brutal.
This was the best of all the sequels. The suspense scenes from the market to the subway were PERFECT!!! =D

47:09 - YES!!! Guys, you need to watch the Tv Series, I swear it's worth it! Honest opinion: it's very underrated. I would say that the series "came at the wrong time" because the Scream hype was low (and because of the low box office of the 4th film, 4 years earlier) and also the fact that they used a different mask displeased some, but I assure you that this will be just a mere detail because the story is very engaging, the suspense and mystery are very intriguing, the characters can be better developed due to time, the trauma and overcoming are well explored, and the deaths are brutal, the killers are insanely cruel, there are many references to all the Scream movies (I think the new ones got inspired by the Tv Series) and other series and movies... the bad part is that unfortunately the Series was canceled in the season 2 with an open ending and replaced by a new Season with new characters and this time with the Ghostface mask, and despite this being the least favorite Season for the fans, still I would tell you to watch it because it is SCREAM, it's never going to be bad, right? Please watch, itsn't available on any platform at the moment but it is possible to watch it in other ways (if you want I can send you the episodes) | sorry english isn't my first language but hope you get my message (:

I enjoyed the fact that the switched up the rules a bit with this one like allowing people to survive when they should have died. Because I really fell in love with the Core Four. But also because it leaves room to bring back characters from past movies.
I loved how it was in a new setting like New York, the fact that Ghostface was way more aggressive and intense, and enjoyed all of the nods to the past movies.
BUT MOST OF ALL even if Sydney was not in this one…it did a GREAT GREAT JOB setting up the future of the franchise while also tying things to the original trilogy and it’s characters. I have a feeling they are working towards a big finale to fully move on to the future of the franchise by bringing back Sydney, Gale, and other past characters in a huge fantastic love letter to the franchise and tying in things to all of the pay movies in a bigger way than just props or lines.
Just a heads up y’all, anytime you see Ghostface at the end credits means another movie is coming! Also the scene on the train is exactly how we New Yorkers mind our business and will not intervene…..

I knew it was detective Bailey from the moment I saw him and the same with Ethan but Quinn? Sadly i missed all the clues that she was the third killer but mostly because of who the actress is and how I never expected her to play a part like this. i also knew what the motive would be from the beginning of the movie but it's still interesting. Jenna gave a little Wednesday look there before Sam let her fall and I loved that part as well. They had me thinking that Kirby could be one of the killers for a bit there as well but I am glad they didn't go down that path and it's good to see Kirby back because she was honostly the best part in that movie...sorry to those who are fans but I couldn't stand Scream 4 and the killer being Jill was way too ovious to me any way. If they can settle things with Neve about the money issues then I would imagine she will come back but we will see cause at the moment Sydney can finally live her life with no fear and she deserves that really. Cortney Cox did all her stunts when fighting Ghost Face in this one and she loved evety minute of it as well which is cool. Loved your reactions as always.

@florybethgarciacoronaTara might be related to Stu. The way she lifted the knife above her head after was just like stu. And when they first got to the shrine, Tara was the first one to stand in front of his robe while Sam stood in front of Billy's. It would make sense from a story perspective to have both of the Carpenter sisters related to the original killers?

Lilliard didn’t come back for scream 3 because columbine had just happened and the network didn’t want to be affiliated with a character who was a school killer because people cared about dead kids back then. He had already signed a pay or play contract so he still got his full salary.
