    I always hear people say “get an enduro bike” but there is a reason people get dh bikes. 1. They have lots of travel 2. They just look sick 😂. I like the idea of a dh bike that can climb.

      @@lukabalta2398 I used to use my dh bike to commute to school as well as riding it on the trails. It had a very narrow gear range and I didn’t have the money to change it. I never had an issue with riding up hills as I got used to it really quickly. I recently swapped the dh bike (Nukeproof pulse comp 2015) for a decently upgraded enduro bike (Kona precept 150 2016) as I just didn’t use the dh bike to its full potential as I’m shit when it comes to jumps and really hard tech lol. I wanted something that I can ride casually on mellow trails. I do miss the dh bike though and I wouldn’t mind going back to it.

    • @DanielB4life
      @DanielB4life  Před 5 lety

      Jack Garcia it’s a 230. It’s a good bike, only complaint would be that the battery tends to die quite quickly, but that can be solved with a car battery charger. (And I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t come with a kick-start)

  • @danrodriguez2276
    @danrodriguez2276 Před 2 lety

    If you buy a shock that can lock during compression, the climb will be much easier.
    That travel that everyone would complain is actually incorrect, also an enduro bike “travels”, the crucial point is the frame and the sit position, assuming that the cassette is for an enduro in both cases :D .
    You could also lock the fork during a climb, but these kind of forks are usually much more expensive, that’s the problem.
    Anyway, once you lock the shock it should be more than fine.
    Just remember at least 1.5 KG more for a DH bike, bike in example -> Propain.
