- Taking a look at the Gforce Huckleberry .357 Lever Action rifle. What a nice set up from the gun importer Gforce Arms. I think you will really like the way this one is made, and the performance it gives!

Looks very sharp and love the set up behind you man🏆🇺🇸🍻 cheers from CA
Thank you
Very nice looking rifle. Been looking for a Browning B92 for awhile in .357, i just need to sell a child first when one comes up on gunbroker. This may temporarily scratch an itch. I lived in Ankara Turkey for years so im good with the turkish thing.
It’s actually manufactured by Huğtek arms in turkey. Distributed by GForce
Looks like a great RIFLE
It’s pretty sweet
When I first saw this rifle and heard that they would be about $300 to dealers, I was hoping it would come in at around $400. But, the cheapest I saw was $555; and after shipping, transfer fee, and sales tax, it was coming out to $640 plus. I'll pass.
IDK…its a very very nice rifle
At that point spend the extra 250 and get a Henry
@@fishsticks7257 or spend the same+pocket change and get a Rossi and some emory boards and watch the video tutorial on smoothing them up
For another $150, get a Henry H012GML 357 Mag (Made in USA).
@@MrBBang I bought the Henry a couple of years ago. Was just looking for something less expensive to train my grandchildren on without getting a bunch of dings and gouges on my Henry.
Needs to have a 16.25 inch barrel
Actually, I got one from Sportsmans. Good price, and it is quite fun to shoot. Action is very smooth. While it's a 357magnum trying to shoot 38special rds can be a problem. I used 38special wadcutters and they were a bit of a hit and miss as not all rds were picked up into the chamber. Later on I tried 38special cowboy loads, which were just a bit shorter and had quite a few jams. When I used the same cowboy loads in 357magnum she worked perfectly.
I will be using this in Cowboy Action Shooting and will have to remove the HIVIZ front site, but other than that she was good to go right out of the box.
Is it really a lifetime warranty? I thought I read somewhere on their website it was 5 years.
How accurate is it at 50yd and 100?
Like the review. I’ve been looking for an affordable.357 . I’ll be looking into it . One thing though , you need to remove the signs on the flag , respectfully . 🇺🇸
I just got one off of gun broker can't wait to try it out
How did it shoot ?
My concerns as a gunsmith of twenty years. Aluminum does not handle impact forces and wear surfaces well. It deforms under impact and wears fast on wear surfaces. Once the anodizing wears through it gets with the wear! SO with that said, what is the actual realistic life expectancy of an aluminum 92 receiver? For the person that shoots a few hundred rounds through it in their lifetime, no worries, for the shooter that does that on the weekends, I don't know. I like this lever gun along with the Citadel Levtac both aluminum receivers, probably the same plant in Turkey lol. I would like to see one up close and disassembled after a couple thousand rounds run through it. Who knows maybe there is more than ample surface area on the lock up surfaces to spread the impact loads and hang with a steel receiver.
Very good points. My guess is that it keeps manufacturing costs down and like you said most will only shoot 100-200 rounds.
Yes, cheaper to make out of aluminum. The tooling lasts longer, generally the speeds and feeds are faster netting more parts in a shorter time. Although aluminum is more expensive than low carbon steels, probably close on higher carbon stuff common in modern firearms. I hope I am wrong and they turn out to be beasts eating thousands of rounds with a smile.
@@outdoornewsamerica I have a thousand or more through my Levtac. With nye a hiccup.
Agreed.. I am a Machinist/Millwright by trade and Gunsmith as a hobby. MY first thought was,I hope the locking slots have steel liners at least and it would appear that the steel locking lugs run in aluminum, no thanks. I'll stick with my home tuned Rossi 92's or the real thing 1892s.
Hey Partner...make that a lever "action" rifle. Thanks for the video.
Good video but you are wrong about the capabilities of a .357 round from a rifle... you are good for about 150 yard deer gun and has plenty of kill power at that distance....in Georgia 90 percent of deer are shot around 40 yards....a 150 grain bullet at about 1900 fps....
What load do you like for deer for 150yrds?
Did you ever take her to the range 🤔
It's listed at $700. I was interested at half that price but not for a Turkish job😂❤
Aluminum receiver....yeah that'll work out just dandy...
Many receivers are aluminum. ARs, handguns, etc
Peep sight in the rear?
No they don’t
You said Aluminum?
Action aluminum?
Barrel shrouded with aluminum?
Receiver
The innards are steel. The mfg is something like Hugtech out of Turkey. The thing weighs 5.48 lbs. pretty light.
G-force pays $175, as usual, it get the $300,selling to Americans markup. I got the price from the manufacturer at shot.
Saw one a couple days ago, looks nice and the action was smooth. But it was 595.00 which is still the cheapest one around.
You able to add a scope?
No
That looks like a buck horn rear sight, not a peep sight.
Actually you are correct sir! Thank you
just ordered mine today lol 😂
How is it?
Any way a guy could put red dot on
Maybe check with Skinner Sights
had this rifle in .410 was true jam-o-matic but the most frustrating part was the customer service of GForce, stay away
DID YOU GET THE GUN FREE OR PAID REVIEW
What difference does it make
@@outdoornewsamerica that's the answer
@@waterhead1359 no one pays me for reviews buddy. Trust me on that. Company’s do send product at times, and at times I buy my own. I still wouldn’t lie about it if I didn’t or did like or dislike it.
So the gun wasn't free either? I'm just tired of gun channels getting free guns for review and not saying it . Just be honest, say the gun was free but want make a difference in the review .if not people want trust you
Like mine
How do you review a gun you never shot?
It’s an out of box review. Means just came out of the box.
300 less than a Rossi and 800 less than a Marlin.
They obviously noticed the success of the Henry and Rossi leverguns and decided to get in on the action. Kind of pricey for a Turkish made gun. I don't like that stainless looking one there... I would prefer a "blued" one and they really shouldn't have put that white logo on the receiver.. yuck. And they obviously copied the Rossi import safety - I wonder if the replacement buttons and aperture sight will fit this...? Was hoping for a range review so I'll try and catch that when it comes out.
Def coming soon!!
It is 399
Um 😟 GeForce is the importer not the manufacture
Gforce …and to my knowledge they are actively involved in the manufacturing
Not a peep site.
Almost 5 minutes of talking yields very few facts about the gun one of those being the fact that this guy thinks a lot of things are “Wonderful”.
I love you too! Thanks for watching
Too bad G force website is hot garbage
Yep, the consensus rules. Why get Overpriced Turkey junk when Rossi rules the price point and better quality. Nope!
Brazil quality better? hahahahahha idiot
4 month later I dont see a shoot review so why waste our time here?
I still plan on doing it. CZcams is a ton of work buddy, and I also have to buy my own ammo for your pleasure. Sometimes the funds run low lol.
