Good morning Glen! Waiting on my 63 F100. I have an OG 61 F100 in my display case. Same kit except the grille and the 63 side trim. And another 61 F100 in my back yard. Bought the big one in 1976. Love that truck. Back in 77 I couldn't find any parts for the original 292 V8. So I swapped in the Mighty 390. Edelbrock manifold and AFB (later sold as Edelbrock too) with Crane cam and long tube headers. Pushing through a C6 auto trans to replace the manual 3 on the tree. After putting over 400K miles on that engine, I swapped in a 428 Cobra Jet out of a 1970 Cougar Eliminator. Indian blanket upholstery. US brand slot mags with BFG tires. Original Aquamarine light turquoise paint color. Double 18 gallon auxilliary saddle tanks and anothe 12 gallon in the bed for a total of 66 gallons. Kinda costly to fill all at once. But it will go over 700 miles on a fillup. Sometimes carries a slide in crank up camper, not a shell like in the 63 kit. Sometimes carries a lumber/metal rack for business use, depending on whether I'm wearing a carpenter's hard hat or a fabricator's welding hat. Sometimes open to haul dirt bikes or whatever. Sometimes tows my car trailer for my desert offroad race buggy. OK. Got a lot more to say but there's an omelette with onions, bell pepper, cheese and cilantro with bacon waiting. So C-ya in a while.
Make no bones about it - Saturdays with Glen are FUN :) ! Like that camper truck - driveshaft built in :) !! That ANGLIA is gonna be SWEET !!! Have a GREAT weekend :) !
Glen, When you showed the diamond plate sheet, I thought 🤔 of a wrecker! It is great stuff! Nice Ford Fleet side w camper cap! "Yellow Fever"🤒 is sharp! Parts packs sell the kit!!! 🙃👍👍👍
Nice shout out for Rick. Nice stash adds. The Yellow Fever is a Great kit. Love the progress on the Anglia. The Outta Controls are Very Cool!!! I'll be watching
Thanks for the shout out Glen. The yellow fever Fiat kit is all made up of parts packs. Even the Fiat body was once a Revell parts pack. Cool stuff Glen. Have a great week end.
Awesome as always, Glen. The Trabi is going to be sweet. I love those old parts packs. I wish I could find the Fiat as cheap as I found the Mooneyes. I bought 3 of those at $15 each last month.
Well Glen, there's just one problem with the f100 camper kit. The drive shaft is molded in. That's going to require a lot of extra work to remove it in order to match your other builds. Lol. My father had one of those unibody fords when I was a kid. I hated that thing. I learned most of my mechanical skills trying to keep it on the road. Today, being in my 50s, I'd give anything to have it back. Funny how things change.
Hi Mike that truck is a excellent kit I'm looking forward to building it mine was a 64 Pontiac tempest spent most of 2 summers working on that thing and getting it running,,really miss that car wish I still had it,,later buddy Glen
Great kit reviews! I've been working on a front axle for a 32 Ford of mine and you just showed the exact axle Ive been looking for. Thanks for sharing.
Fun video, didn’t seem that long! When I was 12 or 13, back in the mid 70’s, my stepdad bought an old 61 Ford unibody short box. It was pretty beat up , but I thought it was cool, because a previous owner had swapped Mustang buckets into the cab. Always a good time watching your videos.
Thanks buddy I really appreciate the comment ,,those old Fords must have been very rare you're lucky to have seen one, even beat up ha, gonna make a cool model tho, later Glen
Love that unibody Ford pickup. It's gonna be COOL. The Fiat sounds like a must have kit. You are bang on regarding the stance of the Anglia. Keep up the great work Glren!!! I've been busy watching the NHL's Stanley Cup playoffs. Many cheers from Nova Scotia
Hi Ken,,my phone has been messed up all week right now the left top of the screen is blacked out and the bottom half has lines running through it,,it's always something (; glad you liked the models and thanks for watching and commenting buddy I'll have a new phone next week and my show should go out OK this week,,thanks again buddy later Glen
Aw now i have to buy the Yellow Fever Glenn! I didn't know it has all of those parts and it's a cool kit! Your Anglia is going to be cool! Outta of Control 3 is awesome! 😎👍
Once again I've enjoyed you video .your enthusiasm is contagious. Your .models are second to none .gone go out and get me two of those kits You Gave .me some ideas I want to try. 😊
Mmmmm. That was good breakfast. I cooked it for the wife and me while I was writing that comment before. Dishes washed an' I'm back. I HATE those wheels in the 60 and 63 F100s with the tire tabs. Just like the rims for the Revell 57 Fords. Makes it difficult to swap wheels and tires. The Herman wrecker is coming along. Those A pillars and doors are like to be a PITA. Maybe cut the door tops off? You've been cranking out the models pretty quick. The Trabant is looking great. The Fiat Altered too. I have a couple or 3 of those, plus a spare body shell to put on a Bantam blast chassis. Of course I have a couple each of the Bantam and 25 T Parts Pack body shells left from the 60s too. I wish Atlantis would start marketing the Parts Packs. They have the molds. And some, like the suspension for all the old Revell parts pack chassis would be AWFUL nice to be able to buy separately. That particular sprue frame of parts is used for: - Mooneyes Dragster - The soon to be issued Kent Fuller Dragster - The Yellow Fever Fiat altered you show here - The 25 T altered soon to be issued And can be used for MANY other projects too. Each Mooneyes dragster comes with the 25 T altered/hotrod frame. Plus I have 3 or 4 of those chrome plated from Parts Packs I bought in the 60s. So I have some use for the suspension parts there. I also have a couple of 1960s tubular roadster frames as included in the Yellow Fever kit. Need suspension parts for those too. I have Mooneyes frames and Kent Fuller frame Parts packs from the 1960s as well. So while I MIGHT have a couple of quick changes in the dwindling parts box supply and can fabricate front axles, I have need of more of those suspension parts packs. They were hens teeth in the 1960s and still seem to be. Nobody EVER sells those suspension packs, Not even out of the new releases on evilbay. And if I keep buying whole kits to get them I'm gonna need to sell off the leftovers on evilbay myself. So... Now back to the regular scheduled program and watch past 5 minutes of the video. Shut up for a while Richard!
Hi Richard whoooo yeah buddy now that's a good comment sorry about the other comment you made,,my phone is messed up,,the top left of the screen is black now and the bottom is covered with line's running across it, and I couldn't get the phone to work with me,,it's behaving right now but who knows when it will cut out again,,really really enjoyed reading your two comments,,I hope this is getting to you,,I'll do my show or at least try to do it so if you don't see it tomorrow morning you'll know why,,thanks again buddy for the cool comments and for watching,,later Glen
you got puppies -I got cats -they hang out with me -sit on my desk-or climb on me while I'm trying to work on models -after you give them attention -they go somewhere and sleep--shake a rattle can and they run
Sounds more like my dogs they do all that stuff and more,,but where would we be without them,,really appreciate you watching and commenting buddy later Glen
