Do you guys even understand that Russia and the United States are not even on the same level? The Russian military is largely conscripted, which would mean that their men would be less willing to fight, and the US also has more men who are all volunteers. The Russian military is largely defense based, and their tanks are outdated and they have few offensive capabilities. The only reason that they are ever talked about is because they have nukes, and they will not use those unless we are invading them and at Moscow's front door.

Canada would never allow a hostile force to land. Canada and the USA have the longest peaceful border for a reason, so to get to America from Canada you have to land up north then march all the way south. And of course Canada and US troops would fight the invaders the whole way down. In fact, I guarantee that the Canadian leadership would inform the White House immediately of any bribery attempt.
And of course by landing in Canada you just invaded Canada. Canada is a NATO founding member, which means you now have the entirety of NATO after you. Good luck getting through the American and Canadian militaries, never mind the rest of NATO.

This has to be my favorite video so far! Like yea no one wants a war with anyone and see death and all that, but it feels good being born in a country that's so safe, you don't have to worry about endless invasions. Makes me proud to be born here. Yes my country has so many flaws and errors but its my country and its all I got. I can't just flee somewhere else expecting the same lifestyle. And truthfully, the people KNOW how to go to war. I mean we have several gangs that can easily do quick drive by's, veterans on the ready, the national guard, and just regular civilians ready to act. Especially those with arms. Proud to be American nglđŸ‡șđŸ‡Č
Edit: and I know yall are gonna quickly reply saying we've gotten weaker or softer. Which yes, socially we have, but not overall. We just haven't been exposed to any major threats so far. But until we do, the majority of the states would just click into action, ready to protect themselves. Yall would be surprised how far people would go to survive

They wouldn't be able to get though the small amounts of maintained roads, we have an air base in our largest city and then another military base not far from that. Between the small amounts of travelable roads. The fact that they'd face a large civilian resistance. The military here. And if they tried to go around maintained roads all they'd find are impossibly large mountains and roads. It's more of a logistical nightmare then the other options. Think invading Siberia with lots of guns and people and military bases. Thank you!

Also, our national guard has plenty of combat vets. Add in Federal troops, the fact that the Canadian army is mostly at home and can mobilize to push from the north, and that GB would also have plenty of subs in the Atlantic to be called on...we'd have the threat contained, and possibly eliminated, before our soldiers over seas are even called back.
Not only that, but our non ex military civilians with semi auto assault rifles are still usually more trained than other country's military. And, we can do easily pull into our forested, mountain, areas that we could legit attack from any area with militia.

      It's true though. Strategically.
The other seaside areas are unlandable, or are so heavily populated that civil panic would be a logistical nightmare, and then transferring equipment from the sea to the inland side of the cities would be another nightmare......
Texas is one of the only areas that has decent access really. Despite the higher percentage of people willing to actively defend their homeland, the total numbers of active opposition would be about equal to that of the coasts. And the terrain and culture of Texas would allow the enemy better opportunities to fight insurgents without killing as many noncombatants, so less issues diplomatically as well.
And it would take about 8 hours longer for a cohesive land response from the US military in Texas than in the East or West coasts. Air responses are about equivalent for any location.
Even the logistics of the US being able to send the entire North American based force to Texas is about equal to our ability to transfer all the forces to the West coast or all of it to the East, so that's about equivalent as well.
And for fleets, the fleets would have the longest time to concentrate on Texas vs anywhere else (except for focusing at Alaska, but that's outside the scope of what they are talking about here really) because of the oceanic currents, our normal operating theaters, etc.

In this day and age, yes you are considered a couple of dorks, back when the 2nd amendment was instated, there was a real reason for civilian gun ownership. Nowadays, they are next to useless, as to any act of war would most likely end in Nuclear armament. I wont deny there are arguments for owning a gun but most Americans treat guns like a toy, so they are not taken seriously.

If things went nuclear it likely means the end of the world so yeah nuclear weapons are not really likely. A well-armed militia, which America has multiple based on the sheer amount of weapons in the country, could defend a country from threats foreign and internal through guerilla warfare and simply knowing the land and how to best utilize it to there advantage. If all these bunch of dorks with guns took down 1 person with them that's at least 100 million people that could be taken down and that's being conservative. I was in Texas last year near the boarder when I stopped at a rest stop. There was fifty busses filled with people who did not look Mexican at all. A line of men around my age all the way outside the rest stop. This opened my eyes. There was not one single female or young person.
If I was an enemy of America it’s what I would do.

@Ralph Goober not once was a sea battle mentioned, because if there was one the US would win, you don't have to beat the Navy to land military forces, you just have to get in and out before they can sink your transports. Given the logistical issues for having air coverage, the likely hood of and invading military having adequate air cover is almost nonexistent. Now given the United States "gun nut" culture, the probability of Texans having a firearm that can handle LAVs and alike is very high, and given the easy a makeshift rocket launcher is to make along with the rocket itself, tanks aren't much of a threat either, not to mention IEDs

We didn't know what those terrorists were going to do, but for a full military invasion where we clearly see that these guys are invading us? The United States military would have known if amphibious vehicles were heading towards the coast's, not including people with telescopes that can clearly see multiple vehicles that don't look like they're from the United States heading towards the beaches.

@J M you cannot defend against something you don't know is coming we would've been able to defend against them if the weren't civilian transportation aircrafts if the were hostile fighter jets we would've been able to shoot down the enemy aircraft. Also were the most trained and armed country in the world if both China and Russia invaded us I'm not saying we wouldn't be damaged but I'm not saying we'd lose there's a pretty high chance we'd win. Also if we were attacked the whole world would go up in flames.
