  • I can't believe no one is talking about this!!! After owning the PlayStation VR2 for PlayStation 5 since Day 1 (now 3 months later), I have just discovered the best way to give you a consistently sharp image every time you play (if your eyes are still good that is).
    If you own or are going to purchase a PS VR2, I can say with absolute confidence and certainty that you must know this simple trick (that no one seems to be currently talking about) in order to get the best possible VR experience!

    I love my PSVR2 but I have to make sure it's tight on my head and even then I still need to adjust it after 20 or 30 minutes.
    I used to own a Meta Quest 2 which I added a third party head strap, facial interface and controller skins made by Kiwi Designs. It made the Q2 really comfortable to wear for long periods. I hear that they are working on something similar for the PSVR2.
    Also, BOBOVR (who also make excellent Quest 2 accessories) have recently tweeted "Something NEW is coming..." in June for the PSVR2. Fingers crossed that it's a head strap.

      Thanks and good to hear you might get them! It really is a game-changer for me!! It’s funny cause the PSVR headband was causing me problems too (like your sister) with my old headphones. I would have never had thought to put the VR headset up where it sits now, but I believe it’s the large ear cups of the Pulse 3D headphones that lift it into the best position and keep it comfortably resting, along with the weight properly distributed as well. It’s really hard to appreciate until you have them on unfortunately 😂 You are totally right that results may vary, but so far most have reported success and only a few have said otherwise in just this specific ‘comments’ section. I totally know you said you might get them already, I’m just trying to help make that decision easier 😀 Worst case scenario, you get it exchanged for a game or something of the same value, or use them as headphones for your PS5. And if you do get them, please have your sister try them as it could totally change her life too lol 😂 And if you love it or hate it, please report back in the comments so others can hear your personal experience and help them make an informed decision. I can't use anything but on ear non noise canceling headphones. So to keep everything where I need it to be with psvr2 I literally wear a hand towel over my head (one cuz I sweat a lot on some games and 2 for the friction) then put on my cheap Koss headphones for sound and to hold the corners of the towel away from my eyes, then put on the psvr2. The towel not only reduces sweat but that little bit of friction makes all the difference in that thing staying in place. I couldn't give two shits what it looks like.

    This solution may work great for some but this setup is very particular to the actual person. The PS VR2 fits everyone differently and the Pulse can make it better or worse depending on how it fits your particular head. @williamsaloka9043 Awesome to hear you’re able to enjoy your PS VR2 and keep that ‘sweet spot’! 😎 I do wonder if I need glasses sometimes, but in this case I’m letting people know that the Pulse 3D headphone cuffs stay snug on the head and actually hold the PS VR2 in the ‘sweet spot’ without moving the headset around. It’s almost impossible to keep the headset completely still for any length of time due to its front-weight and any movement will slightly shift the headset (even millimetres) and misalign the ‘sweet spot’ within minutes. I discovered the Pulse 3D headphone cuffs stay in position and hold the headset up (holding the weight) in the perfect spot for most of my play sessions now. I know this from personal experience because I played Resident Evil 8 to completion and thought it looked amazing until I bought the Pulse 3D. I accidentally (and unintentionally) discovered how well it holds that ‘sweet spot’ and I was literally blown away again after 3 months playing RE8 and going back. 🤯 I actually felt anxiety that I didn’t experience the game as it was meant to be and made a video about the Pulse 3D PS VR2 benefits (this video). Can you tell I feel compelled to share my experience?? ✌️🤣

    why don`t you use these headphones wirelessly? I bought Pulse 3d just for VR, VR ONLY. It compliments PSVR2, as I FUCKING HATE vacuum headphones. Otherwise sound is fine, not blowing my mind.
    SO I DON`T RECOMMEND FOR NON VR. I GOT WIRED EPOS H6PRO OPEN FOR FLAT. It leaves no chance for Pulse 3d (yep, its 2x price for WIRED headset, but there are many 100$ wired headphones for you with better sound quality compared to Pulse 3D). But for VR, it`s just no comfortable enough, and more wires in VR drives me crazy. So again, why not use it wirelessly (I saw that your aux is very short, not the point).

    • @psvrcade
      @psvrcade  Před rokem +2

      A couple of reasons really. First, from what I understand wired will provide better sound quality using analog signals. This can handle more data than digital signals like Bluetooth. The audio won't have to go through so much processing to reach you giving you the best experience possible. The second reason is that I have the PS5 HD camera using the port on the back and my Logitech G29 wheel connected to my front port. It’s funny cause like you said, I did hear that these headphones weren’t the greatest as just ‘headphones’ compared to others at the price on the market, but over and over people kept saying how perfect the Pulse 3D was for PS VR2 (which is all I use it for too). I’m soooo glad I got these just for the VR!✌️😎

      @@psvrcade huh. This first reason is mute cause Pulse use 2.4Ghz (basically wifi) signal with literally no compression. The second I understand. I got no free ports myself. Am I the only one that finds this combo bulky and uncomfortable? And squeezing the headphones around the headset is quite annoying. Also, the oval shape of the headphone cups means that there's only ONE position it can be for it to sound right, but the PSVR2 headset moves it out of that position.

    • @psvrcade
      @psvrcade  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @therealkiwigamer It is bulky…for sure…but super-lightweight! 😀 After wearing them I do find the headset is no longer front-heavy and I can now actually see the PS VR2 the way it was meant to be seen. Ideally…we shouldn’t have to get these headphones at all (should’ve been bundled with the system).
      That said, these headphones fit most head sizes comfortably….but not all (I mention my head size in video at 3:31). Just a heads up…when you wear these, you shouldn’t have to squeeze the headset at all. The headphone cups should sit UNDERNEATH the frame which the headset frame rests onto…keeping it propped up, holding it in that sweet spot. If you’re squeezing the cups around the frame, that’s why you’re having problems (the cups have to be under it).
      I’m genuinely trying to help as I’m assuming you bought these after seeing my video. I truly do want everyone to have the same awesome experience I’m having and know the more people who have a good time, the more units will be sold and the more games will be made!!
      That said, the cups do only go one way…but that makes it even easier to set this up so it sits just right keeping that sweet spot.
      Also, I find the headband has to be slightly tilted forward for it to lock it into place (no slippage). If the head band is straight up or slightly back, your ‘sweet spot’ won’t be held.
      Please try this again but make sure the cups are underneath and the headband tilted forward like this 6:41 and 3:53. The headband is almost touching the front of the headset…so please try tilting forward more than normal. I hope this helped ya out, and please let me know if you have any more questions as I do want everyone to get the best possible experience! ✌️😎

    You don't have to use the 3D Pulse headset to get 3d audio. Any stereo headset/ear buds will utilize 3d functionality as long as the option is set in the settings. This is such common knowledge I don't understand how some are still unaware of it. As an audiophile I can confirm that the audio performance of the Pulse headset is average at best and isn't any better than the included PSVR2 earbuds. The thing about the earbuds is that you have to try them with all the included tips and choose the size which offers the best seal for your ears. This will ensure a decent bass response is achieved. Most people will just use the earbuds with the medium size tip as that's the one which comes pre attached, without even trying the other size tips and then complain about the lack of low frequency punch when a good seal is not achieved.

    • @psvrcade
      @psvrcade  Před rokem +1

      All your points, I truly totally understand! These are average headphones, but what I’m trying to promote in the video is the how these specific headphones push the PS VR2 up and hold the visual ‘sweet spot’ (which has been an unexpected pain for me since launch). While playing for hours they are very comfortable cause it’s super light and cheap feeling. The shape of the ear cups hold the sides beautifully. That’s what’s truly amazing 🤩 Near the end of my video I state that I can’t review these as headphones but that this was made to conform to the helmet it’s sooo good. I honestly hate wearing earbuds of any kind and have always preferred over the ear. My other Monster headphones did the 3D audio (like you said…all are capable of this) but those headphones weighed the helmet down just enough making the ‘sweet spot’ go out of whack. For me, wearing the helmet with no headphones still made the helmet feel a bit front heavy after an hour or 2 of playing. Personally, this was a surprise home run for me (pulse 3D) as it solved my audio and visual problem without breaking the bank. Thanks for checking it out and I appreciate your feedback for those who do prefer earbuds ✌️😀
