Berserk Armor is just a hanicap for Guts,
you have to remember while the armor does make him stronger it damage him the sametime
@@juniourdaquanright. It helped him fight/survive the stronger apostles, but he has also taken out apostles unarmed, and then later using just his Dragonslayer, Black Swordsman armor, and an assortment of side weapons.
That’s not to say that Guts doesn’t necessarily need the Berserker armor, just agreeing with you that he HAS been pretty strong in the past without it
Calling it, Daiba will hold some key information about the relationship btwn Guts and his armor. He called it the Shroud of Durga, or armor of Durga earlier in the series. So he’s familiar with what it is in general.

cool little detail Daiba says guts is wrapped in the prana of durga that is Breath of durga or life energy of durgy soul of durga . Durga is a female hindu deity the personification of rage, strength, courage who kills one of the most op demons for the gods .

Daiba is a great villain and he knows a lot about the astral world so I could see him being super important going forward. I just hope Mori and the team remember that he is a horrible person and they dont try to make him a good guy just cuz he’ll be helping Guts

Pretty sure he was never explicitly cruel. He only followed orders from Ganishka in order to avoid being killed. I think if anything we'll see a redemption from him alongside Silat and the rest of the Bakiraka/Kushan Empire now that Ganishka is gone
Daiba is actually neutral. Nothing in his character points him out to be a villain or good guy.
He just goes to what he sees is best suited with all his powers and mysticism

I think the berserker armor is more of a demonic item or more so cursed. Hence why diaba seems to know what it is or could be based off.
Now, what do i think could happen. Well guts is struggling with the beast of darkness because the beasts man strength is its mental mind games. So, what would happen if the armor gave the beast an actual form guts could actually fight and subdue thats right.
What if daiba puts the armor in the man made baliet so guts can actually fight his inner beast. In a nutshell if guts can beat the beast he can master the armor

I'm just so happy that Puck will get some spot in the light after so long. And although I felt a bit off that Puck didn't feel so worried even when Guts was so...down. I can see why he didn't. He saw Guts at his worst situations, so he's kind of used to it. I am however waiting for him to talk with either Guts or Rickert. Hopefully both.
Puck is actually tied into Guts psyche so he knows what Guts is feeling and it isn’t any deeply worrying emotion. Most likely he feels Guts lost and wondering what should be done to bring him back to his senses

Well, I think he would still never finish his work. Berserk has become more of a shackle to him with time, which sapped his endeavours and imagination. Its cult following elevating it to a grand work and its profound influence on other creators must have also further paralysed his approach to the manga. In essence it became his own beast of darkness that was always there, taunting him to continue his work, but demanding perfection, lest he be devoured whole.
Add atop of it the disastrous anime of 2016 and the negativity it generated and you can see how this would reaffirm his worst fears surrounding the serialisation of the manga.

Is it possible that Guts will get his original strength back at any point and be back to 100%? We’ve seen that he can barely even hold his sword anymore without the armor which sucks ass considering how far he’d gotten with only the sword in the past. And that he’s losing eyesight and taste. And it’s been confirmed that there’s a little less than 10 years of story still left, which would be a long time to keep him at this gradually getting weaker state right?
I’m new to Berzerk and manga in general, so I don’t know how these stories typically go. But is it likely he’ll get his old strength back, or is it more likely he will he have to rely only on the berserker armor for the entire rest of the story? I just feel like they can only show him slowly deteriorating for so long, and it’s not close enough to the end for it to just kill him right? So him growing weaker for the next few years of chapters would just be depressing and old? So do yall think this is a permanent state for him now, or will he overcome it?
I miss when it was just him and the sword and he didn’t fully rely on the armor for a power boost tbh, him being so powerful completely on his own despite all odds through nothing but spite & perseverance was so much cooler & made his wins feel way more rewarding at least to me :/ I hope maybe it balances out to where he can use the armor but is still himself and relying on his own genuine skills.

There is something I don’t understand: Elfhelm is supposed to be to the far West of Vritannis and the Kushan Empire, to the far east of Midland. How is it that the Seahorse suddenly finds itself in Kushan territory when they just departed Elfhelm?
A few months have likely passed off screen since they got back on the boat. Berserk's geography is mostly analogous to our own so they've probably crossed halfway into what we know as the Mediterranean Sea
Remeber when silat said in falconia they have a hidden bakikra base in the mountains that have managed to stay independent. That’s where they went. That’s why silat and everyone is meeting guts and crew. Media literacy is dead
Loved the art and the chapter. They have not been perfect so far, but honestly neither was Miura in the last chapters.
The only thing I did not like was the Rickert reaction, blank and emotionless.
But it may be because he now has an important role in the Kushan army and doesnt want to let himself go in front of soldiers.
I LOVED the Puck and Isidro reactions tho.
Awesome, Guts gets dragged to kushan and Griffith is planning on invading kushan, I guess this is where the climax is gonna take place if this is indeed supposed to be the final arc
The way I understand it, Guts will never touch Femto true as a *branded* human, all signals point to his human death, and becoming a new sort of Skull Knight. It seems like Daiba has something going, but I don't think he will lift the Brand, or strengthen its barrier. I think it's simply a brief respite. I think he will just offer Guts the choice to become one with it, without being consumed by his innerbeast. Truly bittersweet, as one of Guts' main factors pushing foward was being a human monster.
Guts has come close to relinquishing his humanity a few times, most noticeable with Slan and his astral scar. I think he will truly lose it, and give in to that rage without ever looking back anymore, since the one thing he remained human for was so easily taken from him.
This is truly a desperate moment for him, a powerful, almost sacrifice worthy moment for someone who never gave up in front of us. Now, he looks as broken spiritually as Griffith was before, when Guts left him to venture alone.
Daiba is a Monster handler, he controls so many monsters, so I hope he sets guts in the right way of using the besrek armor properlyandcomeinpeacewithhismonster..Ikonw it seems like Kurama and Naruto, but it has to come to an agreement with his inner monster

This chapter was really on point, every panel was incredible. Past few chapters were a lil rough, but im so impressed by this chapter and by the people who have adopted this IP.
huge improvement on the last chapters . from the dialogue to the progression to the pannelling to the lack of useless padding to isidro actual characte development almost coming of age experience...daiab is a mage do he is def an enemeny o the apostles and griffiths plans... he knows he is a target so he needs to use everything uncluding guts ...and maybe even the mages that came from elhelm will be recruited and trained .. i doubt miura added them for nothing .

I really hate that we have to wait all this time just to get morsels of a story then wait however long again that they make us wait until they drop another chapter. I just wish we had a concrete schedule of when they would come. Maybe one every 2 weeks or month but I know that’s asking a lot

It's possible daiba could release guts from the Beast of Darkness separating the two and actually giving guts a chance to come back while also using the Beast of Darkness as a separate weapon
I knew Rickert would team up with Guts with the Kushan army.
However Daiba more than likely will use his mystic powers to aid Guts into some new type of strength to help get him on his feet. It will not be significant enough to go against Griffith and the Godhand but will give Guts enough strength to find it within himself to rescue Casca.
Daiba also isn’t nefarious but wise with the powers he has.
He only followed Gamishka because he was the emperor of the Kushan empire.
He also sees anyone above him as a friend as he likes his powers to serve as necessary.
He most likely sees Guts as vital to aiding to in the long term will help the Kushan people back into the honorable people they once were revered to as in the past.
Silat is weary of Daiba because he was kept in the dark of the crafting of astral entities used to make their army.
Silat holds high prestige to the Kushan as honorable assassins and worthy of great regard for their practice along with being an empire that should be seen as equal to others and not to be used just for nefarious purposes.
A lot more I can say about what may transpire but it remains to be seen
Daiba may transform the dragon slayer into a behelit sword just like the one that skull Knight has.

I do think a bit of time passed while the party was in Elfhelm, not years like with Peekaf, but maybe a couple months or so - enough time for Rickert to be ingrained into the Kushan Army and Daiba to be commanding the Navy since disappearing to Falconia after the war.

His facial features look a bit more compacted and squeezed together. His head and face don't look quite as long and wide as they used to be. It doesn't bother me personally but it's noticeable.
