Aid passes through Gaza's 'lifeline' for first time | Israel-Hamas war

US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has told Israel the "time is now" for a ceasefire with Hamas - after a day of diplomatic talks with President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The first aid trucks have entered Gaza through a newly reopened northern crossing at Erez for the first time.

Why does Israel have the burden of providing for Gazans anyway? The US was not responsible for the German people during WW2. At what point do Palestinians stop being treated like children and grow up like everyone else?

Because under international law, israel is an occupying force. Germans were not starving to death. US provided for Germans. Int. humanitarian law did not exist then
