- Element threw us a curve with the newly released Enduro Bushido 4x4 found here: This variation of the popular truck is a short wheelbase and they topped the rig off with an appropriate body based on a Suzuki Samurai. This RC Crawler is ready to run with proven Reedy electronics ready to give you the power you need to tackle terrain. In this video Greg goes over all the details of the Bushido and gives you a quick comparison to the Element’s other trucks. There’s plenty of spirited crawling in this video and Greg has a little bit of fun getting the wheels and jumping the 4x4 too!

My dad still has his 87 Samurai. So the Samurai holds a very special place in my heart.

Good idea the shorter chassis, but with the greater height it rolls down a ridge easier.

I love the body as an owner of an actual faded white Samurai. Is it me, or is the body 5ish mm too big for the given wheelbase? Not sure if it's perspective, but I feel like the links could use with a couple of additional mm.

great review Greg! this truck looks awesome, i do wish they added in some inner fenders as its a bit see through from the sides. I like these shorter wheelbase rigs that are starting to come out i hope thats a trend that keeps up

I really like it and dig the color alot. Needs an interior or at least inner fenders and non visible body pins though. But still nice looking rig
I feel like the rest of the body should sit a tiny bit lower to balance it. And inner fender liners. Can’t wait to get one!!!

I like it but it looks silly next to other 10th scale trucks. I understand making an 8" wheelbase crawler is not easy. I will most likely still own one.

Thanks for the review Greg. Love my Elements and will be adding it to the collection. Thanks for showing the size comparison. Not a problem for me but some people will be shocked that it’s a big body for 1/10 scale (which basically means nothing theses days except that the electronics are for, you guessed it, 1/10 scale vehicles). I have the Axial Early Bronco and have no problem with small trucks being…big. BTW, I had my Ecto battery strap break on the second run - could use better quality straps, but it’s also something a few stitches can fix/improve.
Also, it looks like Knight Customs will have an interior and some accessories available for this little guy soon.
Nice rig, not sure about the colour but the stickers and bits work well on it, i like the idea of a shorter wheelbase crawler, wonder if i will win the giveaway lol 🤣
This came out just in time been waiting for an element with a little short of a little base and I just gave my element sendero build to my daughter so I need to replace that one. I like the look but I can make a nice little truggie with a Toyota body I have🤙

wow, looks big next to other Element trucks, 1/7th scale Samurai lol Knight Customs posted a bunch of cool 3D printed accessories they plan to offer.

I wish the body wasn't so big. It looks goofy next to other 1:10 crawlers. I do love Samurais though so I might give it a try.
calculated from wheelbase its actually 6th scale, looks nice alone but will look really weird if you ride with friends with +/- 10th scale rigs...
It looks more like 1/7 scale compared to other 1/10 crawlers but super cool
That what I'm saying. I have a samurai and it's small next to my Toyota pickup but I'm still excited to see someone make an RC samurai it's about time!!!

I'm a fan of everything except the body. Would appreciate if info could be shared about alternative body options for this wheelbase. Also, what is that second steering servo mount for, a winch?
Great video as always Greg, it must be decent if its made by Associated. On a side note, have you considered getting the new HPI Vorza S flux buggy? I'd love to see you review it, i had the original and it was tough as nails and sailed through the air really well and just ripped on 6s.

Nothing against u Craig... ur probably my favorite reviewer but the looks stupid next to the pickup. They took something that could of been really cool and instead took a crap in their hat. Great to see different rigs but I'm getting sick of oddball size trucks forced into same universal wheel bases. I don't care it cost manufacturers more money to create different wheel bases. I would actually buy this truck if it didn't look so hilariously bad. Thx tho ... Keep it up
All my Element trucks have been a pile of crap out of the box and will never buy one more ever again (Ecto and Enduro).The panhard rods have a bad design and super weak joints. Driveshafts break. The diffs have too much play and sound bad. Everything has be replaced. The way to go is to get an Axial or Traxxas. Sorry!
