Also when checking your software (After unzipping) I get the error, failed to execute script hpunlocker
I have HP ProBook 440 G4 Notebook PC caps lock and Num lock blinking 5 times, I quit CMOS battery, Clean memory and slots, try reprogram bios I your way and the way hp explain (Windows + B or V + Power button) but I cant enter. I try update the BIOS via USB with this method but I can't do it.

i have tried all these with not result, please where can i get the tools as i need to reset my probook bios battery
tehge wich model of hp do you have, and its very easy just download the tool in description and extract the file and when you read your chip and save you BIN file , just drag the bin file on tool will automatic create unlocked file and re-flash the chip with this unlocked bin file .

Couldn't the problem be solved by simply taking out a small battery? Then why is it needed in modern laptops?

If you don't have the bin unlock file, what is the point of instructions? If you're selling this service, you should provide e-mail address or a website. If you're doing this for free, I really appreciate it but how can we send you the bin file?

BTW, CH341A cheap programmer and the clip works like a charm. You don't have to desolder the chip. There is an easy access for the wifi card and the bios chip is right there. For Winbond 25Q128FVSQ I used AsProgrammer_1.4.1. It's important to read the chip couple of times and compare with HxD to make sure this cheap bios programmer worked properly.

make a smc.bin file with uuid will be faster haha. Just putt a usb in win logo key up en down power on when hp logo shows f10 done unlocked with usb smc.bin file
