The SilverKris Lounge at Changi T3 currently gets overcrowded due to ongoing renovations of the KrisFlyer Gold and First Class lounges, which are due to open in the next months.
If taking a daytime flight, the SilverKris is much less crowded and more enjoyable.

Since most passengers were heading to Zurich, I assume that they wouldn't give a second thought to ride first class. Swiss people are wealthy, they say.
But for an average joe like me, 500 dollars for more space to spread your legs and meals containing smoked salmon (not even a fresh one) and chicken breast (I'd rather prefer thigh) and sausage wasn't worth it at all.
But if they offer unlimited expensive alcoholic drinks then perhaps I could find a way to make the trip worth 500. I mean, If I didn't end up in jail for wrongful behavior while I was drunk on the plane, of course.

Respectfully, it's the parents who chose to have kids (and bring them on board), knowing full well that kids are difficult to handle. It's not the choice of anyone else on the confined space of an airplane.
