There is a Codfather here in Charleston, SC. I always assumed it was a chain being that I knew of the one in Vegas and the one here, but it seems they are not related. Now, I need to try them both and see which Codfather is the Don.

My late husband, who was from Folkestone, UK, would have loved the fish & chips restaurant. No matter where we went, steak house, taco house, wherever, he would ask if they had fish and chips! LOL!

Wow, great he has opened up a fish and chip shop in the US. But on a side note: we don't eat it out of newspaper anymore due to the toxic print - it was banned in the 1960's I think.

I don't know why, but nobody seems to have reviewed one of my favorites - Partage. It's not cheap, but definitely off-Strip, and fantastic!

winter 2022 i flew Toronto to vegas and sat next to this great guy who was going to open a fish and chips restaurant in Henderson!!! I am so glad that he made it through Covid! will check out next time I'm in vegas

I wish I liked fish so o could try it. With that said, the appearance of the fried fish looks so yummy. The batter looks nice and fluffy and fried with fresh oils. Enjoy your meals. I will definitely recommend this place to my fishy foodie friends 😊 🐠 🐟
Rhonda, I'm not a fan of fish either and usually avoid seafood dishes when they get served, but battered fish is different. As an Australian we eat fish and chips regularly and I love battered fish. Not a strong fishy taste, goes great with tartare sauce or mayo, and has a big chip like taste due to the battered outside. Where I'm from we mostly eat shark (Flake) which is less fishy again and easy to eat, but I can happily eat other fish and chips despite not really liking regular cooked fish. Give it a try if you're in Vegas, you might really like it!

I'm from Sheffield and can confirm the Sheffield fish cake is great two slices of potato with fish in the middle and battered.Great to see a Sheffielder do well in Las Vegas.

I've never heard of any of these places until now, thanks for letting us know about them!. And even though Henderson is literally on the entire opposite end of the valley from me, I'm hoping to head to the Codfather soon!
My fav local places (as a local) are: LOLA’s in Summerlin, Cornish Pasty, Herbs n Rye, Casa Don Juan! and so many more!!!!!! 🎉

Wow i was so ready to come to Vegas and go to this restaurant, it's hard being allergic to pork even the simplest things like a fish restaurant have to serve pork. Being that I'm allergic to pork and can't eat beef my choices is few and far between. Vegetarian restaurants serve to much process food. I spend a lot of time just staying at home living vicariously through these videos. Love your videos and you guys as a couple. Thank you

Lately I have been going to Vegas often and I love to try new restaurants and have went to a few places you recommended. One of my favorites is at South Pointe, DonVitos! Best Italian restaurant! Great service, prices and big portions! 😋

Zenshin in South Point Casino and Abulitas on Sahara/Lamb. Both are fire!!
We had a local bar in Pittsburgh, that the “Codfather” was their theme. And they had a very similar fish cartoon like symbol.

I love The Codfather. The whole ambience of the place is great and the food is delicious. Next time, get the poutine though if you haven’t had it before. Soooo good.

My wife and I ate at the Dutch Pot in April and it was not a pleasant experience. Poor service (brought me the wrong dish), over-priced and the smallest chicken pieces we had ever seen. If you check online reviews you will see we are not the only ones that did not enjoy this place.

I live in Vegas & appreciate you for this! I just can't stand that everything good is in Henderson. Places should be in Downtown so everyone else.....Tourist and us that live in the east, north & west can have it too.

Also, have ya’ll checked out DELIGHT’s HOT-SPRINGS, in Tecopah, CA?? It’s an AMAZING 1.5 hour trip away from Las Vegas, to a relaxing desert oasis 😊 plus there is a Date Farm out that way, that is also amazing!!!

The food here at the rest home\hospital that I am in is just awful here in Las Vegas. This Codfather's looks so good! Makes me wish I could afford to order delivery. [Sigh]😊😊

I’ll try Codfather’s. Looks great. I was very disappointed with Gordon Ramsey at the Linq last time I was there. All these restaurants looked very interesting.😋
Honestly if you find more local restaurants it's better. Definitely Arts District downtown has some really great places

Have loved here in Vegas for 13 years and haven’t heard of any of these. We were just talking about good fish and chips here. Gordon Ramsey is the best we’ve had so far here. But… it’s not “local” place and the prices are robbery. Excited to try this place.
