- In this video, I build an Epoxy resin river table with a slight twist. Using Green pigment I created a forest/swamp under the surface of the clear epoxy resin.
Using fake foliage, stones, and different driftwood the illusion is something to behold.

I enjoyed your newbie vid. I am no expert, but I have made some tables and shelves for sale over the years. It's nice to see someone who has never done this before with all the mishaps, for those who only ever see the big channels and their perfections. As I was watching I was envisioning, some rust colored bits of epoxy dabbled throughout, as sometimes there is rust colorations in swamps from decaying leaves and whatnot. Just an idea for anyone else.

Mate never put Rubio mono coat on clear epoxy .it works on epoxy that has pigment in it but on clear resin it’s a completely different ball game.as you can see it’s not a crystal clear finish but more a Matt finish.if you sanding up to 3000 grit you might as well have just gone one step further and polished it with some 3M polish and a buffing pad on a buffer .great effort though for a beginner.also tape the insides as well on your form and pray some wd40 or any kind of silicone spray over the tape before you lay your slab in the form some or lubricant spray it will just peel away from the epoxy when removing the table from the form .yourll get better and better the more you do trust me.keep at it mate it’s a great past time and you can sell them as well .practice makes perfect.you got more likes than I did on my ones so well done lol 👌🙌👏💥🔥
nice, when i do molds i use melamine with 2 inch wide packaging tape and a mold release spray so when it comes out of the mold, the resin only sticks to the silicone which can be scraped off
How many grits do you use for one sand? eg, 80 grit...how do you use?. Thank you.
