What a great song. His reflection is very interesting. Yes, the United States was in a nice happy bubble in the 1990s. The economy did well (at least on paper), there was no war on terror, no 24 hour news cycle to report the world’s problems, most people didn’t have cell phones, and kids still rode bikes and played ball outside.
There will always something to be mad about if you want to be mad. What for? Enjoy the ride on this planet, it goes by quickly.
