I think most of us have that one that got away or the one that could've been. But it doesn't have to mean you would've been happier. Sometimes it does. I have that one person from my past. I wasted so much time wishing things were different and that's a different type of regret. But wisdom comes from experience (both good and bad).
My boyfriend killed in a motorcycle accident. I was mad at him for going out with his brothers again (mc life) and he tried to hug me and I didn’t hug him back. He left and had his accident and died four days later. He never woke up so I never got talk to him again. I also had the added bonus of this happening on his daughter’s 21st bday. He didn’t mess up her painting. He was trying to force her to put brush to canvas, don’t be afraid of failing and just start somewhere. She went on to be a rich and famous artist but her petty action on his painting cost her him (he dies in the car accident after rushing out angry)🥺
I *think* he was trying to force her to get something on the canvas - like overcoming a creative block or something - and she ruined an almost completed painting. That's my interpretation anyway.
