- An interesting video showing the Block Caving mining process. BTI makes an ANFO Loader, Emulsion Loader, Shotcrete and Rockbreaker System like what is depicted in the animation.
- Auta a dopravní prostředky
probably one of the better videos explaining the drawbells (funnels) in the block caving
thanks for the video! it was very well described and explained!
Excellent, instructive video. Thanks! 3 years on, I imagine technology and graphics have evolved. Best I've seen so far, though.
when drilling the lifters (bottom row of holes)are usually drilled out first to prevent the fines ( waste material from drilling) from blocking access to them, they are then fitted with "lifter tubes"so they are still accessible after the fines have piled up at the bottom.
Beautiful work guud luck
WOW!! me hubiera gustado que tuviera algún tipo de sonido mientras estaba el video que alguien estuviera comentando.
Well done
Me gusta el video
Entendí un poco de minería.
excelente, solo falto el audio y una persona expicando
Talk about double-handling!
is there a survey mining here?
its so giant and so slow process i just wonder why they just not digged fron the top
and how it will not colapse after a timeall this mega cave will not last long stable
It's called block caving because they cave the mine in on top of them, in blocks.
Split sets are illegal in Canada for use in the back...this must be a depiction of mining in other jurisdictions...where life is cheaper.
Like Australia ?? Might depend on rock formation, depth underground ,geotech engineering
Split sets work fine. Been under them most of my career. They said a mine in BC.
This Block Caving looks way too complicated - just cut the roof off the hill & open cast the seams...
Life wasn't meant to be easy.
10-15 years establishing the infrastructure, then draw the ore body until depleted or subsidence becomes an issue.
