Chia Lee yes there is a queen and those are the queens, and there are also drones to mate with said queen in this species drones fight amongst themselves to claim a mate aka a queen, which can even result into one of those bee balls with fighting males on the outside and one queen in it
Many bee species live solitarily rather than in a hive. So all females would be queens, essentially.
Based on the narration my guess is that these are a solitary species that live in the ground.

JustCallMeDevil Because there are many bees available as food source during the few days they mate. And wasps are very important for ecosystems as well. They have an impact on pollination too by the way and as predators they help keeping things in balance. So just because they may annoy you, they are far from being useless.
Wasps are predators of a large number of insects and spiders, including plant pests. Without wasps, your bees won't even find flowers.

Athicuz Not all types of bees work in a colony. These bees are a solitary species. Technically all females can reproduce its just that in a colony type they remain sterile by the queen in order for them to stay workers.

Bees are an extraordinary animal of God's. Not only are they essential as a foodsource as we see here in this video, but they are also the producers of honey, a favourite of God's greatest creation. Us.
On top of this without bees many plants would not be able to reproduce through pollination, they are the world's biggest pollinators in case anyone was wondering. Without bees the world would NOT be the same. God bless every one of them, and everybody reading this.
