Be careful with your relations with Poland! I was allied with Poland but the moment I became protestant, Poland flipped and immediately rivaled me before i could get my heir on his throne. Hopefully you don't have that issue.

@@actic555 He generally records the entire series in a day or two(figured from his outfits), so he doesn't read any comments. Even if he does, he alternates between HOI4, CK3 and EU4 so tips, tricks, ideas and strategies in comments hardly matter...
I just thought that the "bigger UI mod" is the one poeple want, makes it so you don't have to scroll and stuff, but I feel ya with the strech out numbers. I orefer the not strechy one, but I will watch your videos.
That Gone With the Wind rant was not something I expected from someone like Pravus
Unfortunately, the game does look more blurry. I was barely able to see the numbers on the units, for example.
might be an issue with recording bitrate? i agree tho pravus might want to change up his recording settings
@@benchua5602 No, pretty sure it is just a font scaling issue. Games generally use bitmap fonts and bitmap fonts do not really scale. The solution is to use an UI scaling mod that installs a font that is in the correct resolution. ie. instead of scaling the UI the mod just uses elements that are actually bigger. There are solutions on the game engine side but I do not think EU4 uses any of those.

@Pravus in my Sweden run I'm about 100 years ahead of you, and let me say that the elective monarchy game trying to get that PU is a cruel, fruitless endeavor. In my run after they went through a few rulers, never coming close to electing a Vasa, my king died without an heir and a Jagellion noble ascended to my throne. I was able to complete the mission that way despite not having the Vasa dynasty... Something to keep in mind, or at least keep an eye out for that. You might have a better time with influence ideas though, it's all about that diplo rep.
Build up grain, or you'll experience a crisis later. And benefits of completing the mission gives great bonuses.
Holmgård(Novgorod) Yäy. BTW annexing novgorod before converting to protestant is a mistake. Annexing Norway first is probably better, gives more colonial options and a way to get a foothold in the british isles.

The UI looks better both on desktop (Usual) and mobile (occasional) for me. if you can get used to the UI i like the new changes
The ui looked fine beforehand ,but i have rather good vision and a 1440p amoled display so i have the advantage over the average mobile watcher

The change in UI is not an improvement, it makes things blurry. Can the people who really want to watch CZcams on a phone not invest in a good loupe 😁
Can someone explain how France can own such huge armies? its 1700, I'm the Mongol empire - I own all of Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and some parts of Western Europe too. France owns a few tiny colonies in Africa and pretty much just modern day France plus some of Western Germany area (ex HRE) - I have 800k troops, France has 550k... I don't understand how they can have enough economy, manpower etc to be able to have that many troops, even if they have been playing tall...

At the early game when i bearly have 20k troops as spain /sweden/england or any other large nation
France and ottomans have around 35 to 40k troops
I won't complain about their manpower cuz they have bonus for those but man its so annoying with their armies
@@mosiout7736 It's quite realistic if you ask me. If you look at Europe, the agricultural heavens are France, Po valley, Danube delta and Ukraine. As for the Otto Blob, the Anatolian region had very high population compared to Europe avr since the ancient times. That and the deep coffers is what held the corrupt East Roman Empire for so long until Osman ''The Great'' revolted and started to blob hard and the Ottoman Empire emerged. France in EU IV is a problem when they combine quality with quantity. As for the Otto Blob, they already have some quality build in to them and that's why every sane person fears them in the game.
@@mosiout7736 yeah europe is op as hell.. i just beat a big netherlands and austria... austria had like 250k netherlands had 150-200k...i broke up the hre.. which seems like a good idea until some guys decide to take it all and ur faced with a few super powers..
@@dominges i didnt check what ideas france took.. but i had trouble beating great britain... not so much their armies but their navies are op as hell.. luckily i managed to sneak 120k troops into ireland before they could catch my navy.. britain had 230k... but i think they were in the americas... i tried fighting their navy i had like 230 ships mostly heavies & transports the british had 120 fewer heavies mostly light frigate types and i watched as my navy got obliterated (im higher tech btw) the british navy moral didnt even move from full green.. no damage taken whatsoever.. luckily i managed to land another 120k after some bs with magical spawning in 150k british army from nowhere.. the game likes to teleport armies apparently 3 50k stacks just appeared out of nowhere.. and i know they were out of nowhere with full moral, not mercenaries cos i used a console command to show the entire map & be able to see everything to check and no british ships around.. 3 50k stacks just appeared out of nowhere to wipe out my 120k.. so i had to do some jiggery pokery save scuming and sending my other 120k stack to where the game didnt realise i was gonna land and then those 150k didnt spawn in until it was too late.. anyway the second war was much easier now i had a foothold.. but anyway... as i was saying.. europe powers seem to get op as hell late game..being a horde isnt as good once you get to europe
