If we don’t sell some of the older players whilst they still have value, we will hit a point in a couple of seasons where they all retire/leave on frees and we have 10 squad places to fill and no one to sell to fund it. Whilst Callum is certainly a contributor it’s better to sell him for £15m now than let him leave for nothing in a year or 2.

Hope tonight that Tino and Hall start with Burn and Schar as CBs. if it's 4-3-3 I'd like a midfield 3 of Jacob, Bruno and Elliott. I'd love to see 4-4-1-1 with a midfield 4 of Murphy, Bruno, Elliott, and Barnes with Gordon tucked in behind Isak, the new Beardsley and Cole.
We had Chris Wood who was available last season(until January) he did not score that many. How beneficial was that? Wilson ended the season with 18 and he is on 7 now. Keep him. There is no equivalent replacement without going into FFP red lines. Also keep Minteh. No need to loan him out as he is miles better than Murphy and is more productive than Miggy.

I have a very small contact at the Toon and they said that Minteh is currently a puzzle for the coaches with any of the options possible. However, they are looking at what clubs would improve him and broaden his experience as first option i.e. loan him out first another season but not to Holland again. The preferred choices are either Germany or the championship. Might be bollocks but it sounds sensible to me.
isak should start as he is in superb form
Wilson was amazing last season,stayed fit, with a world Cup in the middle, keep him fit and he's lethal
