The actress who plays Mrs. Huntsinger appeared in a number of tv shows, always as a crabby older lady. It was nice to see she could also show a nice grandmotherly vibe!
She did a lot of commercials for "Hungry Jack Biscuits" in the late 1970s too!
I believe she is the same lady who replaced Kitty's / Amanda Blake's roll on Gunsmoke.. Showing my age 😆
I'm pretty sure she was the crabby old bat in the taxi with Bill Murray at the beginning of Stripes.
Fran Ryan character actress. Had an amazing career. Did tons of work. She died in 2000 at the age of 83.
She also was the replacement Doris Ziffel on Green Acres, after the original actress had to step down.

Alice was very good at playing along with the children's antics and shr enjoy it.

She also got scared another time when the Brady kids were trying to scare everyone. She thought a sculpted bust that Carol made was the head of an intruder (it was dark inside), and she smashed it. Alice was not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
You never know what those brady kids will do. Always up to something

Sherwood Schwartz had a rule that he wanted the Bradys to appear non-denominational. Alice holding her "ghost b gone" medallion rather than a crucifix or St. Christopher medal is a little example of that!
Of course, he was a Jew that was producing a show to mostly Christians viewers. I always took it that the Brady's were likely a Presbyterian or Episcopalians.
It's supposed to be family sitcom. If she had been waving a crucifix, they would have called this episode the prequel to the prequel to The Exorcist! 😆 I am a Christian, and to me, it would taken the comedy right out of the scene!
I used to be scared of this episode when I was a kid. Noises gave me nightmares for a week. The ghost episodes were the best.😁

And it never existed. This is more of a fantasy than Lord of the Rings.

Alice with her curlers also makes a magnificent ghost. But what I don't understand is why does she go to bed in broad daylight when her employer is still showing a prospective buyer around the house? If I were buying a house, I would also want to see children's rooms, basements and servants' quarters.
Actually, because of work schedules, a lot of real estate showings take place on evenings and weekends. But I do agree that Alice was turning in a little bit early!

Alice's room was not a "servants' " quarters. Also, it WAS after 8 PM, so she was turning in, big deal - being she'd been up since before family. Also, it WAS just as likely potential buyer had seen her room and said hello being they WERE walking back into the main part of home from kitchen area - where Alice's room WAS located off of it.
This probably is Nick Cannon's favorite tv sitcom because the number of kids he now has. Lol

You never know what the Brady kids will do these kids go to great links to save their home because they love it so much they haunted it there house so it don’t get sold and that they love it so much that is why they did it

Florence had just recently stopped wearing the "bubble wig" she worse at the beginning of the series. She had done a play that had cut her hair real short and bleached, making it too bright for the cameras. She wore a wig until her hair grew out and darkened a bit.

They did the haunting story twice.
I've seen every single episode of The Brady Bunch - however, I can't remember WHY Mike & Carol even considered selling the house, let alone actually putting it on the market for sale. Anyone here recall why??

@@TheLightFish Wasn't the house built to meet their needs after they became a blended family? Which explains the housekeepers quarters. Mike seemed to do a good job designing the house, but fell short with the kids. Should have been at least one more bathroom and two more bedrooms. The eldest should of had their own rooms and when they moved out the remaining would have their own rooms. It was built assuming they wouldn't grow up.
@@billyfowler9423 it's kind of unclear. In the pilot episode, the Brady guys had a totally different house. But later in episode 2 or 3 the girls and Carol are moving in and the boys have to make room for them as if the boys were already living in the house. Then in the episode when the kids complain it's too small, mike says, we added more people, they're right we need a bigger house, something like that. It's possible he designed the house for his original family, but it's just one of those things that's kinda unclear, like how the attic is 2 feet tall in one episode (too small to be a room) and a few seasons later, Greg moves in. Lol
It's all comedy, but it's hard to believe a grown woman would be frightened at seeing two persons with sheets over their heads, that were obviously children.
What I did like about B B is that no kids disappered and the shows hilighted the kids pretty evenly not like on Family Matters Partridge Family or Happy Days!!!!!
