THIS Land Rover Series IIA has been saved from the scrap yard by proud owner, Wayne, from Lancashire, UK. The $50,000 restoration project was a labour of love, and took 18 months to complete. The Series IIA is familiar in popular memory, featuring in many old films and TV documentaries such as Born Free. Wayne kept many of this ride’s original features, including the chassis, bulkhead and original panels, but he also included a few modern twists. The 3.9V8 engine comes from a Discovery I, so it has three times more power than the Series IIA factory original. Wayne also added custom-made twin-side exhausts to give the car a great sound, making this Series IIA a one-of-a-kind.

It's a beauty! What Land Rover rims are you running?
Look like nakatanenga
Is it the original 4 speed 2a gearbox? Who did the conversion?
That engine is awfully 1960s for a 1990s engine.
