- In today's video, I uploaded my FIRST ever POV video. This video made me learn a lot about a GoPro and its work arounds! This video started off easy to make but then took a sharp turn and was very annoying! I apologize if the GoPro external mic sounds kind of loud, I still have to master the audio settings! Next POV video should be much much better! LasFitAuto was kind enough to send me their corolla specific phone mount! This fits ALL corolla models, whether it be a sedan or hatchback or EVEN the GR! It fits all years while maintaining the OEM look! This phone mount is the best phone mount I've used due to the seamless nature! it's very discreet and very elegant! If you guys are interested in buying one for you corolla, Here's the link for the phone mount!

i think thats what im gonna be getting as well for my corolla se. thanks for sharing your vid!
Thank you for watching boss! 🙏🏽
A good tip is not keeping your hand on the shifter once you change gears because over time you are accelerating the wear on your transmission namely the selector forks. Have a good day
I’ve seen that tip so many places and I still do that. I need to get a magnet on my wrist! It’s a habit I need to not get! Definitely know it’s not a good thing to do, thank you! 🙏🏽
Another good tip is to pay attention to the road instead of watching stuff while driving.. 👀
Thanks for the tip 🙏🏽❤️
used to do it in my old Corolla which had 460k miles on the odometer. nothing happens. its an old myth
I like that the GR displays the gears! HaPpy New Year! 🎉
One of my favorite interiors ever! Happy new year 🎉
yooo that phone mount is actually pretty cool ngl💪🏼💪🏼!! great videos as always!!!
Bro it’s gonna be so clutch I already know! 🔥 thank you Brodie! 🙏🏽 appreciate your endless support! 🙏🏽
I’m so happy for you bro! Congratulations on your new purchase! I remeber seeing your videos for the e210 platform, I loved the color and I’ve always loved the beautiful design of the rollahatch! I remember there was a time while I was attending a fabrication school a couple months ago, I’d see you driving south on the 91 in the afternoon every other day and I was just in awe cuz your car is clean, and now you upgraded and that’s awesome! You deserve it bro!
Yooo I appreciate you always supporting the channel! That’s crazy that you saw me that often! Next time you see me, make sure to say what’s up! Thank you for watching the videos Richard! 🙏🏽
@@GeovanisGarage forsure bro I’d hope to see you around ! it’s so crazy that you’re one of the few in the ie/SoCal to have a gr hatch !
Probably somebody might have told you but I would recommend take another manual car for a day and practice with it because you’re not shifting good and might hurt the transmission, you’re releasing the clutch too fast
Yeah that’s why I asked for advice lol I still need A lot of work! I don’t release the clutch fast on normal driving, only when doing pulls (probably the worst time lol ) I don’t mind burning the clutch Bc I will just replace it! Plus It’ll be great content & interesting to see a GR clutch replacement on CZcams!
@@GeovanisGarage of course brother keep up the good work
Appreciate you always sticking around brother 🙏🏽
It took me a while to drive a manual. You will get used to it. Also, thank you for the phone holder review. Already bought one because of this video. Keep these videos coming
Thank you for checking out the video! I hope you enjoy that phone mount! It’s so clutch when it comes to usability! 🔥
Congrats bro 🥳😁, awesome car!
Wish I knew how to drive manual hehe .. have an auto gr86.
Thank you bro! 🙏🏽 I love how GR86 look tho 🤤🔥
love the video
Are you adding gas before you fully let out the clutch? sounds like its slipping a bit
it'll get better the more experience u get ( I think you mentioned in a previous video that you are pretty new with manual)
Thank you bro! 🙏🏽 yeah I’m giving it a little gas, but I still definitely need to learn ALOT. I only have about two weeks of driving manual!
@@GeovanisGaragehopefully your clutch still good, you gotta let the revs drop before releasing the clutch pedal lol
Do you live by chino? Noticed you passing Euclid on the 60 freeway.
In the pulls at the end of the video, were you full throttle? I’m just trying to get an idea of acceleration from the GR. Thanks!
Most definitely not! I’m still learning how to drive the car & not trying to full send it!
Kool item, just a quick question ,will you be doing content on your 1000 mile break in oil change and oil filter results ?
Most definitely will! I will actually do the first oil change @ 2,500 miles because that’s what the owner manual says for break in oil change!
Try not to be so all or nothing with your clutch release unless you’re trying to go flat out, which I wouldn’t recommend anyway…too much stress on the transmission. You still have to pause at the bite point ever so slightly on your way off the clutch to smooth out those changes, even if you’re shifting quickly.
Thank you for the advice! Appreciate you boss 🙏🏽
Already more confident driving it looks like. Awesome. How you liking it the car?
It’s great! I absolutely love it! 🙏🏽
after having this phone mount for a while now…is it still a great and best phone holder for corolla hatch?
I love it! To this day I still use it, I wish I could have it on all my cars!
Does the manual hand brake look like it could be diy to fit se or xse models?
I don’t think so, you would have to removed the electronic brake & that is connected to a lot ecus
Have you had any fast cars before? Curious how the GR compares to other vehicles. I’ve had a Evo IX, 350z, BMW M340i, GT Mustangs, G35 coupe, and so on. One of the most fun cars I had was a 2019 Civic Si with 205hp. Just curious if it feels quick or fast? I’ve been debating a WRX of a Golf.
This is my first fast car ever 😭😂 I’m no help there bro 😭 sorry
Sheeesh this 4K quality 😮
Yessir! Trying to up my quality 😭🔥
🙌🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻
Thank you 🙏🏽
6:00 would be helpful if you let us know how many miles per gallon you are getting, because not everyone know how big the tank is.
I’m getting about 28 MPG
Does the GRC come with navigation?
How is the ride quality?
If you get technology package yes!
& the ride quality is amazing! On the stiffer side but 100% daily drivable!
That's just a regular Corolla hatchback with interior bits changed out? I see a newer video that you actually got a real GRC.
This is a real GRC
Is it just me or is the audio coming out of the left side mostly. *noted you realized towards the end
You’re most definitely right 😭😂 it’s only on the first part of the POV. I realized this while I was editing and there was nothing I could do. If I did something it would effect the audio quality very negatively 😭 my mic was slightly unplugged, that’s why only one side is heard & my audio didn’t get recorded on the lost footage! Issue is now fixed tho!
if your gonna do a pull redline that thang
I will once I master learning how to drive stick! 😂
Two hands please.
Cut me some slack! Still learning boss! 🙏🏽
Nice video I really want to find a GR corolla too but until then im with my manual 21 corolla hatch, but anyways I think you should practice letting off the clutch a little smoother being more gentle when you let off. (You’re shifts will feel better) Another tip get into the habit of downshifting before taking a corner. (I saw that you went into neutral when you hit the corner at the end of the video) You’ll notice a difference in grip levels when you downshift into a corner and driving manual becomes a lot of fun especially learning double downshifting before taking a corner in a backroad. Also there is the IMT feature to help you learn how high to rev when downshifting 🤝
Another thing too is when you’re launching get the rpms higher like 3k-4k in first gear with the ebrake up then put down the ebrake and let off the clutch when you want to launch. It’s a lot of fun but it is a little harsh to the car so don’t do it too often (record it too please 😂)
Woaaaah this is great information! I needed this 100% thank you so much bro! 😭🙏🏽 good luck on your journey for the GR corolla 😭🔥
