That was great. I’ve been around dirt tracks for almost 60 years and I’ve seen a lot of “professional” race tracks that weren’t prepared as well as that. Looks like a total ball!!🏁🏁🏁🏁

You should install a flagpole in the middle with a 360° camera mounted on top. That would be great constant footage.

Great job Mike! Showing your grading skills and how much prep work it takes for a few hours of fun. As far as the tag-a-long trailer ramps being too wide for the smaller machines. I put a center piece on mine that was hinged on the edge of the beaver tail and folded down just like the ramps do. the sides hooked onto the ramps. when not needed it just stays folded up on the beaver tail. Never in the way for the larger machines. Might be "another" winter project for you guys to work on.

I think you are right about the end plate/shields on the Ruckus Rake, looks like mounting them above the brackets instead of below would give the clearance and help keep them from digging in. Some feed back to AMI for the implement would be to add multiple holes on the top and bottom mounting plates for end play angle as well as forward, backward, and tilt. Looks like the mounting plates only have one position, but adding multiple holes would give you many options for adjustments. New to your channel, I'm enjoying how you repurpose other people's throwaways for useful and productive projects. I was called crazy for using an 863 Bobcat skidsteer to reshape a property that had a 300ft elevation change from top to bottom in a length of 3 acres and a lot of rock, but understanding how your machine works and know the real limitations, a person can do amazing things. 👍

The wings that are digging into the dirt on the side are meant to be mounted on the other side. They are designed to keep the material in front of the drum. They are normally mounted on the side of the drum in the direction you are traveling.

Load with unload with - plenty of sight with them. Just a thought for backing out blind... 4 wheelers use them as rally id flags.

Great video. Great explanation why you only have to go 4 inches deep. Honestly I was thinking about chisel plowing it and disking it up. Then run a culti-mulcher over it. Then run the Ruckus rake or harley rake over it. That is what we use a the tractor pulling track. I'm very impressed by the Ruckus rake. I'm amazed it done everything that it needed to do without doing everything mentioned above.

Hello D.P. I just had a quick thought about your ramp/ skid steer situation. Have MBTS make a folding grid that will (when unfolded) hook on top (the trailer) the sides (the ramps) and supported in the middle with an adjustable leg. When not needed it can be disassembled and stored on the front rack of the trailer.

Backing a skidsteer off of a tag trailer can be a little unnerving but you do get more comfortable.
I think one upgrade you may want to do is to make wider ramps. Those one seem to be on the narrow side. At the very least modify the pivot bars to allow them to be put closer together for your smaller machines.
I used to run with a single tire triaxle tag trailer with a steel deck and you always checked your ramps before backing off.
Sketchiest load I ever had on it was a Toro triple deck mower. The rear steer tires were on the ramps about as much as your JD 755. 😬

I am looking for a bob cat or one of the brands that makes pancakes and eggs but I do know that they make a vacuum cleaner that does and also paints the house while you enjoy the sausages. I think if it don't cut into emergency funds that you should own it. Keep on having fun cause its hard to frown when smiling. Like passing gas in church, who can't laugh when that happens. Some day when you look back at these times when you only had a million dollars worth of equipment and then your going to quadruple that and never look back
