Bought the Camo variant for my 12R. I wasn't expecting much as this appeared to be the best case out of a dismal selection.
What can I say. This is probably my favorite case I've ever had. I went Camo as I dislike smudges and finger prints.
Absolutely zero smudges or finger prints. The texture and grip is hands down my favorite of any case I've owned. For such a thin case I think it will provide relatively good drop protection considering the phone has a curved display.

This Ringke case, or the Poetic case are the best OP12 cases available right now IMO. Very happy with both. If you like Aramid, LaterCase makes a phenomenal case as usual.

That's the one I got! It looks SOLID and it's a hybrid. Also protects the charging port
@@Mo-pt7bw Except it doesn't really protect the camera. Pretty bad case design to only provide a lip for the camera when they could have easily fully protected it like Rinkge does

I had this brand case on my huwawi p40. Phone fell from McDonald's table and back screen cracked on the phone.. I don't recommend clear cases

Just add a ring to the back that's what I did. Much better feel in hand than my tudia with there being less bulk

Why don't you try those drop tests on concrete - like in a parking garage where most people destroy their phones rushing to work or a meeting then they drop it on concrete
I usually always do my drop tests on concrete. But as I mentioned in the video, the weather was just to crazy outside to even try and go out and make a video. Even in my garage it was too loud.. so I worked with what I had which was my hard tile floor where I have actually accidentally dropped and broke a device on before.

I have both the clear Ringke fusion and camo case for my OP 9 pro and I can attest that they provide excellent protection for the phone. And, I just love the way the black camo case looks on the phone (the black would look good on the green OP 12). I plan to upgrade in the near future with the OP 12 and would definitely purchase these cases again. Good video👍

Ive had really great experience with Caseborn cases. Dropped my s23 ultra a bunch of times and not a single scratch. The thing that makes me like it is the case holds up amazing also 👍

@Josh_Quinonez that sucks, they need to get on that. I can't live without a kickstand and Caseborn has been the best for me. Really rugged and sharp looking too.
LaterCase makes a great one. Full Aramid. Looks and works great. I've had one on a ZFold3 for almost 3yrs now. That phone looks flawless to this day. Big believer in Aramid.

Scary.... I just broke my screen on my Samsung S21U dropping it face flat on concrete in a Speck grip case the other day...so painful! I'm still so friggin mad at myself! Apparently not enough "lippage" on that case.😢😢
Between the Nillkin and Ringke brands, which is the best for tempered glass protective films for cell phones ?
I've never used Nillkin so I'm not really sure. But I will say that ringke works great with tempered glad screen protectors
dont buy the nilkin. I bought one for my dad and me, and it scratched my phone on the back a lot, and also on the frame(which was plactic on my poco f3)

Hello, does anyone know which tempered glass fits well with the Ringke case for the OnePlus 12? I have a Ringke case, and while it's pretty good, the downside is that it lifts my tempered glass (I'm using DevilSmart tempered glass). This causes a halo effect on the top left and top right of the screen. That's why I decided to use the case provided by OnePlus itself.
They have a magsafe version now....I just ordered it

Please find a good tempered glass screen protector. I really want to find a half decent one but not fully convinced on the cheap amazon ones. Great video, btw I just recently found your channel, and i'm really enjoying your videos for Oneplus 12, other phones, TV's, etc.
The spigen tempered glass screen protector works really well and it's too expensive. Easy to install and last a long time.

It all depends on what kind of drop and on what type of surface. I can't guarantee that your phone will be protected if you happen to drop it in some rocks. But for the most part your phone will have good decent protection with this case

The whole point of a case is to protect your phone. This case did its job. I've dropped my phone on this floor before without a case and it busted. This case has also survived on asphalt and concrete if you go back and watch previous videos of mine doing Drop tests with this case on devices.
