Beautiful!! Thank you so much!
I love these connections you found, and I truly appreciate the different influences and resources you bring into your discussions (I plan to look into Carl Rodgers a little more after this)... Love without condition allows the healing powers of connection and reunification to form.
Thank you for all you share!
Bold video, love it.
Many shun or prosecute Jesus name and those who speak it.
But they do not know him, and do not wish to love him.
They’ve chosen long ago.
I think the connection between Christ and psychology is clear.
And that the greatest fulfillment is in loving.
Appreciate the recognition 🙏
Jesus Christ saved me and I could not deny Him anymore.. I never thought I could live with so much love and peace before I knew Him. Because I didn’t know it existed. I tried many things, including years and years of therapy. Only Him. Only He saves. Truly. And I know I’m only one in countless people that experienced the Truth of His infinite selfless eternal love.
Yeah head at the back of the line the same can be said for people of different religions
How about maybe calling it spirituality & connection to our God & Creator?
I agree that religion/spirituality needs to be a part of this, a part of every area of our lives.
Some ascribe to other monotheistic teachings, or other teachings as well, think what matters is having this connection to a Higher Supreme Being, in that way we have a connection with ourselves, or vice versa, when we connect with ourselves we also connect or tap into the Divine spheres.
"He who has known himself, has known his Lord".
Self knowledge is part of the building blocks for the steps elevating you up to "Unity" with yourself & with God our Creator. That way you are connected with ALL.
I am happy though seeing more & more ppl going back to their religions or roots or even ascribe/convert to a new religion/way of life, specifically when I see men doing so it makes me more happy, since they stray away a lot easier due to ego issues & only following their lusts & desires.
The problem is that most people have become materialists. They don’t believe in a soul and thus they neglect it. The next stage in human evolution is to realize our spiritual nature, but for that to happen we have to go through a dark period first. It always rains before the rainbow, which I think is described symbolically within Christian eschatology.
@@JohnnyWalkerBlack142 well said :)
I think the dark period has to do with feeling betrayed or let down by one's old beliefs about things that one thought explained things well only to see it wasn't waterproof out in the real world.
I don't necessarily believe the theory may be wrong or religion or those ideas at least some of them.
But maybe it's hard to try in practicality because there is so much ego dealing with others that it may not work as one thought it would do.
I feel very discrouraged to walk the spiritual and religious path due to the setbacks and challenges one will have with the ppl who will do anything to put you back into the line of conformity.
Or to continue being mediocre and just do like everyone else does.
I think now I'm in a dark period where I'm pissed off for wasting so much time on being left behind or abandoned when all I did was to follow everything from crossing all the t's and dotting every "i", was a very disciplined follower of God.
I had enough feeling miserable and lowly all the time and lose out in the next world and this world, I feel like the biggest loser in the world for breaking my back all for nothing and being forgotten by God
This is interesting. But I see as couple of problems. First, It is generally accepted that people who inflict trauma on others, narcissistic people and the like behave this way not out of not loving others as they love themselves but quite the opposite. They do not love themselves which is why they cannot give others unconditional love. The second is it seems to me like the concept of unconditional acceptance in therapy is more derivative from the ideal parenting style which consists of this. People who get traumatized typically are not shown unconditional love from one or both parents, even if the trauma doesn't come from them directly. Of course, If this unconditional parental love comes from christianity you would be right, but that doesn't seem obvious to me.
lol, amen! Wow! An inherent truth, confirmed but served as an invented method. The stilted emotionless language avoids the necessary personal relation to the truth. A shallow mirage of being the creator. "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.", "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.", "Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.", "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.", "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.", "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Yes you can have therapy without Christianity, by actually fulfilling people's needs & giving them community, which you can do without Christianity, & what humans have been doing wayyyy before Christianity, & class based society in general. my people have been doing sh*t like that way before the European settlers showed up, the same European that are going to be the main reason why human race is highly likely experience the great filter, which may or may not be an answer to the Fermi paradox!
This man ,like the rest of us, is in a quest for self discovery, he shares what he learns but he doesn't realise there's a long way to go, no seconds will be counted when his ideas of spirituality will change, it's a flow of this path when you realise one certain way is the only way, you come across another one it never stops there.
He needs to understand that our journey is ours the same way his journey is his.
Trying to heal by being a follower of a specific religion is a delusional state where people believe themselves to be good by the merit of their self declaration.
Salvation cannot be achieved without freeing from every doctrine as well as facing God and the Devil together.
No just pray to Krishna instead
They’re all similar, the problem is when the individuals become extreme with their beliefs. At the end of the day, I believe at least, we’re all under one god, wether you see it as Christ, as Krishna, as the universe, as the higher self, etc. one things for certain for all of us, including if you’re atheist or agnostic, is that you still believe in something. That’s what makes it “feel” unifying and universal. I don’t know jack shit at the end of the day, we all just want to feel loved and find piece. Too many mentally I’ll psychopaths who take up these leadership roles to then control us, the sheep.

Isn’t Jesus himself not selfless? He states you can only know the kingdom through me. That sounds selfish.
Moreover I think Christianity itself is a source of psychological discord. Cuts people off from their true selves.
And you think there was no psychological harmony before Jesus?
"Isn't Jesus himself not selfless?"... He died on the cross for the sins of the world... He is the EPITOME of selflessness.
It is very hard to call a guy selfless when he claimed to be the son of God.
@@ThoughtsonThinkingWhat's the necessity for his sacrifice? As a part of the godhead, he could absolve humanity's sins without it. Christian theology complicates the narrative to censor the simplest truth.
@@bastadimasta and what is that "simple" truth you think you know of that Christ confuses so much?? Your arrogant sense of pride and knowing to disregard Christianity in one sentence alone to make a claim without any substance shows you lack humility. No wisdom can come from a man with no humility.
@@bastadimasta have you read the Old Testament? Christ was the manifestation of the coming messiah prophesied by the Jews.
