- From Holiday Monday 1995. Jump In accompanies Test Card F for around about 20 minutes at 7.00am before Ceefax takes over for 10 minutes at 7.20 (18.22 in the video) before the 7.30am BBC2 start-up.
I only seem to remember ever seeing TCF go out with music once or twice (I was born in 86, and those occasions would have been 1990/1991-ish), so I'd always assumed it had all but stopped by the time we reached the 90s and only got tone- but you've uploaded plenty of videos showing music over TCF into the mid-90s! So I must have been watching at the wrong times!
Great times.... always loved it when we had music over test card, fading into Ceefax for a while before programming began. I still miss this wonderful era!
You are so right there too
Although of course it was all sp early in the day do most of is would have recorded it then on the video tPrsvthay I had here then so too. Thank you too
So do I too as well.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE BBC2 COLOUR TEST CARD WITH MUSIC
Great BBC 2 Television Test Card with Ceefax

The front page the one said new year and that's 2 January 1995 so when it's got the Christmas front I have never seen one like it before in my childhood so with the bbc ceefax home page on the second with the information that is very cool excellent with the red ribbon awesome.
We Love BBC 2 On the Test Card and Ceefx
Jump in was moved over on BBC2 on 3rd December 1994 which was replace the tape called Time Kode which had ran in October 1990 before October 1990 currently was ran Rock and Soul has ran since 1986. Anyway Jump in was originally first restricted over on BBC1 started in October 1992 after 1st December 1994 then was Summer High took over the tape there and then and it's the final tape on BBC1.
Wrong. Jump In came to BBC2 on Friday 9th December 1994 as a replacement for Time Kode which ended its run on BBC2 on the Monday. The tape should have been used on BBC2 in 1992 but the move didn't happen until two years later. Summer High should have replaced Ear of the Lion (on BBC1) originally, but Start Up began in early 1992 until a review into the tapes had come about in the summer of 1992, resulting in why Jump In ended up by mistake on BBC1. As with regards BBC1 tapes, Choco Coca temporarily replaced Soledad before its transfer to BBC2, but Summer High was felt unsuitable for BBC2 and so later on Wild Wind replaced Summer High consequentially on transfer to BBC2.

The corrections are. Jump In was officially comes to BBC2 on Friday 9th December 1994 as a replacement for Time Kode which ended its run on BBC2 on the Monday 5th December 1994. The tape should have been used on BBC2 in 1992 but the move didn't happen until two years later. Summer High should have replaced Ear of the Lion (on BBC1) originally, but Start Up began in early 1992 until a review into the tapes had come about in the summer of 1992, resulting in why Jump In ended up by mistake on BBC1 on the Monday 28th September 1992. Summer High comes to BBC1 on Tuesday 6th December 1994. As with regards BBC1 tapes, Choco Coca temporarily replaced Soledad before its transfer to BBC2, but Summer High was felt unsuitable for BBC2 and so later on Wild Wind replaced Summer High consequentially on transfer to BBC2.
By the way: Summer High which ended its run on BBC1 on the Friday 10th October 1997 was felt unsuitable for BBC2 and later on Wild Wind was officially comes to BBC2 on Thursday 9th July 1998 and ended its run on BBC2 on the Wednesday 13th December 2000 as a replaced Summer High consequentially on transfer to BBC2.
Also another tape late on Secret Crystal was officially comes to BBC2 on Thursday 5th August 1999 as replacement for Jump In which is ended run on BBC2 on the Monday 2nd August 1999.
You agree on any those options information clarifications above.
How much of Summer High ever aired on BBC1? There are a couple of uploads lasting less than 15 minutes. Wss that all?
@@dvidclapperton There were occasions when Summer High played more than 15 minutes!!!! I also do remember in the summer of 1995 that there was an occasion when Summer High actually accompanied the testcard!!!!
@@michael1967812 Jump In ended in 1997 when all the BBC1 tapes moved over to BBC2. Secret Crystal was in fact a replacement tape for Before The Breeze. Wild Wind came to BBC2 in October 1998 to replace Summer High for the reason I explained above.
Programmes on BBC2 starting far too early in the day by then.
Such a shame there's not any more of this and many other tapes of thwt era during the day. Annoying that you had to wait until after 1am to hear a near full airing of one tape before the Learning Zone took over.
You are indeed so right there then too. On both nbc1 and bbc2 by then there was not much room for trade if at all even as they showed programs nearly all the time so too. This is very nice too of course for 1995 but I know the bbc ended test card f in 1998 anyway
After thxay ceefax was shown instead really ad before although test cards j w and x were shown atctimrs too. That went on to 2012 when analogue ended. Although there was one more test card showing in 2013 so too. Thank you of purse.
Indeed so too
Whereas in the 1980s ceefax was shown a lot in the daytime nu the 1990s it was not as programs were on instead alas although they've were shown at night by then
That continued until 2012 when ceefax of course ended alas
