    Thanks for this! Pleased to say I snuck round the Bowdoin loop!

    Currently there is a planned extension from Bowdoin to Charles/MGH for connection to the Red Line, which will see the loop removed.

    bowdoin will likely be gone in a future extension to Charles/MGH

    I didn't even know Bowdoin had a yard. I wonder what it looks like.

    At about 2:00 where it says Emergency Exit on the far wall do you know what that's referring to? As far as I knew Bowdoin only has one exit and that's the headhouse you enter through.

      My guess would be that there's some sort of exit within the footprint of Bowdoin Yard.

      @@cityseby Well, I'll take a look next time I'm there cause I'm kinda curious now but it's gonna be a while with all this self-isolation :(

    Why does the Bowdoin station not have an elevator? It’s the only station of those on the Red, Orange, & Blue lines that is not accessible…

    The escalators at Bowdoin have been down for a year. Why's that?

    • @cityseby

      Nope, those buttons exist solely for this station!

  • @awersomeplaneguy9999

    Are Bowdoin platforms shorter than at other stations, and cannot hold the full 6 car train at a time, is this true?

    • @cityseby
      @cityseby  Před 3 lety

      Only the drop off side (northern side) can hold six cars. The departing side (southern) can only hold 4 cars which is why there's buttons.
