Great video. Awesome setup! I have a Skandic with the 135 L box very expensive but a great box I use Kolpin Rhino Pro Grips for my auger I have the 40v Strike master too. The Pro Grips are made of aluminum super heavy duty and securely hold my auger. Like you I use my sled for ice fishing and hauling stuff to my camp. I look forward to more videos from you.

I have a slightly older Expedition with a 4 stroke. Love it. But, mine has a 20 inch track. I had a 24 inch before that but it's harder to turn and the wider seat is uncomfortable.
I stayed with the standard trunk and tow everything in my Clam X300.
Very well organized and though out rig. I’m sure it makes fishing enjoyable.
Curious, what brand of winch do you have, is it gas or 12v?

That’s pretty bad assed !!!
You can also drill through the case+box and secure the two with a bolt and a wingnut. Eliminates the need for the ratchet strap/eye bolts and makes it look cleaner.
Great idea! If I just had 2 rod boxes I’d go that route.
Sweet rig. The expedition will be our next machine when the time comes. Carry extra linq brackets with you. They are known to break.

Question about battery life with your strikemaster, how is the run time when out in the cold all day. I run the same unit and am curious for an upcoming Winnipeg trip on a sled.

I had 40 holes the other day in 12-16”s of ice. I keep the battery off the auger till I need it. The cold air on the ride out in the morning can hurt it. I always carry a second battery as well!
Any cold extreme cold weather starting issues or concerns? I’m trying to decide between a 4-stroke vs the 600R ETEC.
Doug how do you find the 900 ace with the SWT? Is it enough power in slush with the heavy sled and gear?

Yamaha makes the best engines of any manufacturer , too bad that they're leaving the snowmobile biz .....there's A reason why Polaris is cheap $ 🤭
Ski-doo not much better off according to my experience
I’m a VK540 guy too. I can pull a Ginzu ski groomer one day and go fishing the next. Heartbreaking they quit making them!
