  • The Judgement card, also known as Aeon in the Thoth deck, symbolises crucial moments of clarity, awakening, and the purging of old ways. It stands for the fire of renewal, where past experiences and actions are reviewed, leading to significant insights and transformations. This card encourages us to face our truths, embrace renewal, and step into a new phase of life with a clear understanding of our past, present, and future. In this exercise, we will connect with the Judgement card’s energy, confronting our own life’s judgements and embracing the potential for profound change.
    Remember that whatever you experience during this exercise is a reflection of your own mind and inner wisdom.
    After completing the exercise, reflect on your experience and the insights you gained. How was your experience of the Judgement exercise? What insights did you come to?

    Active Imagination is a technique developed by the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung for engaging with the unconscious mind. Jung considered Active Imagination to be the most powerful way to access the unconscious mind and a vital technique for attaining wholeness of personality.

    Another powerful meditation! This made me evaluate my relationship with shame. I love these videos, it’s like diving into wonderland. Never know what you will encounter!

      Great work Chelsea... sounds like a full on encounter with the Judgement card. Thank you for the positive feedback. I can totally relate to active imagination being like diving into wonderland! The unconscious is rich with wisdom, symbolism and surprise, and yet at the same time it's strangely familiar. When it is honoured and respected, conversations with it can feel like the most nourishing reunion with a long lost friend.

    very powerful. I don't really have a memory of what I just heard because it took me on a journey so deep. To explain: I have very severe pollen allergy, and I was just having a crisis right before a remote work meeting, I thought I'd lay down for a bit while listening to this in an attempt to calm myself. Within minutes the sneezing stopped and I'm feeling so relieved now. I think I found the root of the allergy: it's a deep feeling of hurt that I suppressed and the constant sneezing (that honestly felt like crying in my chest) was my body's attempt to make it surface again. Your tapes are amazing man.

      Fantastic. Excellent work. This is a prime example of how the most important element of active imagination is to have the experience. Post analysis and interpretation is certainly important and leads to further work, but it’s in experience that the bulk of the work is done.
      It also shows how sometimes, at our most stressed and tensed moments, we can be closest to a breakthrough.
      Your description of the desire to sneeze as feeling like crying in the chest is particularly astute.
      Well done for being willing to go deep and thank you for the feedback. I’m very glad the exercises are working so well for you.
      I plan to launch a self-study course in September which is designed to train you in unguided practice.
      Extended versions of these exercises are now being released to the MiC Inner Work Exercises Podcast which you might be interested to check out.
      Thanks again and strength to you 🔥🌟

      @@makeitconscious honored by your answer. I am familiar with other inner work techniques but they've not worked as well as yours for me cause they generally involve finding a root memory to work on, except I never get those. I guess that happens when a trauma doesn't stem from one particular event but rather a pattern taking place over a long period of time, or maybe genetic memories even (in the case of allergies that would make sense). Hypnosis doesn't usually work too well on me, so these tapes are quite fantastic in that they take me really fast into an altered state. I'll check the podcast for sure and keep an eye open for the course. Thanks for your content.

      You're right that our challenges often don't stem from a single particular event but in patterns that emerge over time. In this way they are reflective of both our own mind and real events occurring in the outer world. This duality can be hard to get one's head around, but these events are happening to compel us towards greater freedom and self-realisation. Working with symbols and the imagination rather than actual memories can help get to the psychological conflict at the heart of an issue. In any case it is necessary to take responsibility for our own mind and do the work to individuate.

    Have you done a video on the orphan archetype?

      @makeitconscious  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Hey Peter, I've not done one for the orphan, however the Shadow Child exercise has some commonalities and can be used to access some similar areas. I think you're ready to give this one a go: czcams.com/video/b5QWhnhA-4k/video.html
