      It's certainly a biggie. Although it's not necessarily the biggest fear for everyone. Even where death is the greatest fear it might not be the most pressing or immediate barrier to inner work, and it may be beneficial to focus on other layers first. If you're looking to engage with death symbolically and even approach your fear of it, you could try out the Death tarot card exercise on this channel, available here: czcams.com/video/IIzEEkNXlTg/video.html Thanks for the comment and good work for doing the exercise 🌟🔥

      Ah, it sounds like what you are looking for is exercises for the animUS, not the animA. What you are referring to as the 'male anima' is the animus. The anima is a feminine symbol. The animus is a masculine symbol There are multiple videos for working with both the anima and the animus on this channel. This was very insightful for me. First appeared to me as something resembling the beast from Beauty and the Beast and I shaped him into a ken doll. Then his message to me was a symbol in the form of Atlas carrying the world on his back. Interesting because I imagined my peaceful place in the beginning to be a sunny mountain range.

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před dnem

      Great work setting out to deepen your relationship with the Animus. This is definitely worth a conversation to explore how this series of symbols could apply to you and your life. The characters of the Beast followed by Ken could represent an attempt to bring the raw and primal energy of the masculine under control. The Atlas symbol could then be hinting at a more realised form of the masculine, the need for responsibility and the benefits it brings, but also literally reflecting a burden or weight being carried - potentially burdens you carry, or emphasising the virtues of embracing the masculine. The mountains also seem to corroborate the presence of challenges to climb along with the potential for growth and integration. Well done and keep up the inner work. Feel free to follow up to let me know if this resonates and how having the experience has played out for you over the last few days.

    Wow, thank you so much for this exercise. I'll share what I saw here: The theme I had in mind was the feeling of warmth and security among people The room I am in is a large cage with thick iron bars. Not a pleasant room. I can't see much outside the cage, maybe a small group of people in the distance, but it's very blurry. I am made up of two people inside the cage: one is sitting in a corner with her arms around her legs, the other is pacing nervously. She tries to make the cage more comfortable by hanging a red/dark pink curtain in one corner, but it's just a small piece. Then, in the exercise, there is supposed to be another room. A very small door opens in the back/front of the cage. Maybe 20 cm high. I can't fit through it, but I can look inside on my knees with a flashlight. At first I don't see much, just a dark room with the flashlight shining into it. To the left I see a wall that reminds me of a room in an Egyptian pyramid. I also see a large gate to the left, closed. Only after some time do I see a very small person sitting in a corner to the right. Not happy, afraid, also huddled together. The exercise tells me to bring her into the first room. This is successful and she begins to spin around her axis very quickly, it feels as if she is being liberated. The room becomes a little more solid, white, and because of her spinning, colored paint spatters on the walls. I wonder if the bars of the cage are still there. There's no real answer. There is no ceiling.

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před dnem

      Wonderful... great work for completing this exercise. Shadow exercises are generally not easy. The first room portrays your conscious stance, perhaps in a way that is difficult to verbalise but nonetheless sitting close to conscious awareness. The cage clearly represents your own barriers - not entirely "self-imposed," but understandably that in part, based on your experiences and what worked for you in the past. The attempt to adorn it represents how working with the external world alone doesn't truly solve our challenges. The tiny hole represents the resistance to moving towards what you fear. The further rooms represent the layers of unconscious material to be worked through. Bringing the fearful you back into the light room clearly represents what happens to the fear when you shine a light on it. The coloured paint is interesting too. I wonder what you make of it? Is it an expression of your increased capacity for creativity once your fears are confronted? There remains a little ambiguity around whether the cage is still there. But one thing is for sure, you have the means to remove them. The open ceiling suggests a way up and not sideways. You can continue to work with this exercise and explore more of the shadow rooms you saw in your first experience. If you can identify a strong feeling or fear, the Emotional Integration Exercise is a good one to do next. I also recommend checking out the new series Beyond the Limen. When you get to part 5, that works more closely with fear. Hey there, welcome to the channel and great work for diving deep. It's often not easy doing active imagination but it's certainly worthwhile. It is common for stored feelings and emotions to come to the surface or for the body to react in other ways. This is actually a sign that you are doing something right. By creating the conditions and applying this technique you are allowing these aspects of mind to come together and reconcile. This is a good thing, so well done and keep going, allow the feelings to flow. This is a fantastic start 🌟🔥

    Hi Max. I have always enjoyed your active imagination sessions and have done so many of them. However, beyond the limen has been a different experience for me. I find a part of myself is still in the story that started with the first episode. Its sort of like a day dream and I find things in real life that so obviously relate to my story and it keeps unfolding. I want to write a summary here for anyone else that might be having a similar experience. I met the sage who gave me a lantern and showed me the path behind his cottage to follow. It wasn't so clear where the path led but i saw some trees and a small body of water, like a pond. lanterns lit the path to it. I went on the path to the trees and in the clearing i found a person looking like me but innocent happy and childlike. he had the jesters hat on. he told me we need to save the 2 children from the tower and its a long way to go but we know what to do. we have walked the path before and in the end it was self love and compassion, that we learnt. the fool thought its going to be so easy and the feeling was contagious. i felt relieved and happy for a couple of days. ---now this part was not in an AI session it was more a day dream-- the fool and i walk the path, its early morning now and we come to a wall. its dark black and its surface transforming i can see a face appear briefly. the fool and i feel stuck. I feel the wall, i know that its a part of me. I see another figure walk towards us. an elderly man with a stick and a magicians hat with stars and moons. he tell us, self love and compassion is not enough. to go through this wall you must feel everything it felt and acknowledge it happened. then comfort it like a father would his son. i had a bad headache that night and i know i was resisting going through it. then i had my therapy session and I do some internal family systems therapy too and I visualized and met my part. the wall who is 16 years old, protecting the 2 children in the tower. I told him im 41 years old now and we have the cutest most loveable 3 year old. we both hugged and cried. it is such a relief Max i feel like a part of me is back (slowly filling the hole my soul feels). because of AI its been much easier for me to maintain a sense of connection with my part. Thank you Max, you help me immensely, big hug! I wish all the best things for you and yours. now i need to save the children from the tower :)

      Stellar work Abbas! This is all great to hear. Sounds like you’ve been very open to the symbolic nature of your existence and interconnectedness of the psyche, while using it to do some deep inner work. The Fool, Tower, and Magician are all powerful archetypes from tarot and mythology. There is also an exercise called The Wall where it plays a similar symbolic role to the one from your experience. The spontaneous nature of the second experience is also interesting and further suggests this was some material that had reached a fever pitch and it was the right time for it to come out. You created the opportunity for it to surface by setting your intention to self-love and applying yourself to a technique. The magician gave some very wise words. Self-love and compassion are vital, but they are also qualities for navigating the underworld and the further work that entails, opening up to the reconciliation that has to happen. Strength to you as you delve in and save the children from the tower. Feel free to let me know how that goes :) It’s wonderful to hear that this part of you is back and integrating into your conscious self. It will remain with you now and serve you well in life, relationships and further work you do. It will be interesting to see how family life changes from hereon in. Great stuff, I love to hear of experiences like this. Very glad to be part of your journey Abbas and supporting you however I can. You deserve full credit for stepping up and doing the hard work. It’s not easy but it is always worthwhile. Big hug back and best wishes to you and your family 🌟🔥

    Hmm..yes, the shorthand word for that is perspective. Well, a part of it anyways. Today in my AI, my "most me" meeting place was a tree. My symbolic me archetype was a chipmunk. This chipmunk was a very intense chipmunk, like, aliveness times ten. So much so that I felt my own eyes develop a pressure in them in response. She was very happy though. Right before I asked for a symbolic gift, I got to thinking about how my branches were so bloomed out that it shrouded the chipmunk. I had wondered what she would look like outside this "me tree" for a second. Then I got back on track and asked her what she needed. She didn't talk to me in words but showed me in images. I saw her on the ground searching for something she couldn't find. Then, when I asked for a symbolic gift, she gave me a nut. Obviously, if she can't find one it means I'm not producing it. Why would that be? It really seems this goes back to the freedom thought which is where I have the most difficulty. I understand the philosophy behind it, I really do. I got my BA in 2003. The philosophy and logic classes were intense but I did well in them. So I get the mechanics. It's in the application where it becomes difficult to maintain the confluence. Thanks Max, very well done!

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před 9 dny

      Hey SleepyLee. Yes, you’re right that “you matter” is about perspective in part, although it implies more as well. It means that we see the world *in terms of* ourselves. Our experience neither confirms to an objective reality, nor is it quite that “everything’s a projection.” Although understanding the role of both perspective and projection is key to self-knowledge, projection in particular is most misunderstood. Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s very interesting. The chipmunk seems to connect with your earlier encounter with the groundhogs and how you found a way to co-exist peacefully with them. Nurture and nature are a theme, as well as the aliveness aspect. How would you say the chipmunk’s character contrasted against your current conscious stance? (aside from the obvious 😅). The nut given by the “Self” represents a key element within you. Since the Self encompasses the totality of your being, it’s capable of producing this nut, which symbolises something significant for your journey towards greater freedom. What if you re-planted this nut, perhaps in the Planting a Seed exercise or The Empress, see what it produces? And even have a conversation with it. I hear you also on the difference between theory and practice in building freedom. It’s deep, emotional, energetic work, and the only way to freedom is through it. The pressure you felt around your eyes at the intense chipmunk also gives potential clues around where to look next. The brightness of the symbol could be compelling you to engage with a feeling. Working with this in the Emotional Integration Meditation could be a productive line of enquiry as well. It might also be interesting to see how these themes of nature, nurture, intellect and freedom show up in your birth chart. Thank you for the comment and for sharing your experiences, SleepyLee! Your insights greatly contribute to the conversation around this technique and to all of our learning.

    What’s a primordial image?

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před 10 dny

      Primordial images are what Jung often referred to as "archetypes." These are universal, fundamental images or patterns that exist in the collective unconscious, shared by all of humanity across cultures and historical periods. Examples include the Mother, the Father, the Anima, the Animus, the Self, and the Shadow. In active imagination, you may encounter symbols that relate to both the personal unconscious and the collective unconscious, particularly archetypes.

    When i was on bottom of the ocean, i saw three figure trying to open something, it was like a door on ocean bed, it was made by heavy strong metal. Four figures were trying their best to lift up the door but it was not possible. I wanted to go out my submarine but my high self (my personal guider) said no, he suggested that i should just use arms of submarine to help them but it was still not possible, then i used another arm of submarine to lift the door but it was not possible. Then one figure suggested maybe we should find a key of thr door. I don't know how but the keys, was in submarine with me to open the door. My high self said,i shouldn't exit the submarine but i should just show them the keys of the door. One figure was good of cloning keys so just saw it from the submarine to see its structure then he went to create the clone of the keys. After he was gone, we still continued to pull the door up until it only moved maybe two inches. We saw yellow light from inside and a lot of water rushed inside. I thought its problem until my guider said, we in water remember and those figures can breathe under water. Then the other figure who went to clone the key entered the scene, with a key to open, and the key went in smoothly. When they were about to open, is where the guider of this active meditation said that we should go back to the surface. Like i was not happy about it,but i wanted to see whats inside, but i had to go up with my submarine without knowing what's inside and left the four figures unlocking the door😊 THATS MY EXPERIENCE😂

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před 9 dny

      Hey, thank you for sharing this rich experience. Even if it seemed incomplete, this was certainly a worthwhile expedition. There are a several symbolic takeaways to highlight. The figures trying to open the door suggest barriers in your own inner work journey. The number four seems to represent ‘the quaternary’ or four modalities of consciousness (will, emotion, intellect and sensation) coming together to complete the individuation task, with you acting as the overarching ‘fifth element’ along with your higher self. Finding the key inside the submarine is clearly representative of how you already know the answers implicitly and have what you need within the self. The yellow light shining from inside can symbolise illumination and ‘gold.' It suggests there is still treasure down there waiting for you to discover. I have some questions. Sometimes when I do these exercises and read through comments from others’ experiences, it seems I’ve had similar images and experiences, sometimes even identical. Is that common, perhaps because of the theme you are presenting and our typical arsenal of symbolism for it? Or is this more “collectively psychic” in nature, and we are tapping into something deeper? Or is this something I’m doing? I certainly don’t mean to get into other spaces, but throughout my life I’ve felt an impulse to say very specific things which has led to very interesting conversations. And now that I’m aware that people are inherently psychic, no matter how much I try to ‘shield’ myself before engaging in bigger social settings I can’t turn it off. I know that happens to more people than just me, but if that is what’s happening then I guess I assumed that this time in my mind was my “safe space” to not engage with other energies. Maybe it’s because I’m not focusing correctly? I’m currently doing EMDR with my therapist, and it can take me several sessions to get to the root of the target. Possibly because it’s been unexamined for so long and I have a lot of untangling to do… and likely because no matter how consciously I want to face it, there is a part of me that is still avoidant. What are your thoughts on this? This is all so new that I don’t really know what resources to turn to for this specifically, or even if I’m in the right track. Also, how dare you call me out on my addiction to chocolate cake 😛

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před 11 dny

      Hey Amber, thank you for your patience waiting for my answer to this one. Excellent questions, thanks for asking them. Rest assured your mind is working exactly the way it should be. You are likely tapping into elements of both your personal unconscious and the collective unconscious, the latter being a shared reservoir of archetypes and symbols common to all humanity. Although the emphasis can change depending on the seed you chose and your state of mind at the time. It’s not uncommon to experience similar symbols to others because of their collective nature and the themes of human experience and how they are represented. Similar symbols can also have different meanings for different people. I’ve often wondered what chocolate cake symbolises, now I know I’m not the only one 😅 The fact that I am guiding the exercise can influence what appears to an extent, but the aim is to keep you close to the seed of the interaction rather than prescribe it. So I think this is probably less of a factor in the themes you are noticing, although it is likely relevant that many people are all doing the same exercise with similar intentions and that you are tapping into some of that, which is cool to hear. Your experience is valuable because it is a direct insight into the workings of the psyche. We can talk about the psyche until the cows come home and still not really understand it. What you are doing is experiencing it directly, as it is. I would take your experience as a sign that you have this ability to access a realm of psychic material that may have been long forgotten, that it exists as a source of knowledge, and at the same time to embrace the mystery. Synchronicities can be very valuable in pointing towards further self-enquiry. It’s great that you are getting in touch with these abilities. There are many people who have pushed this part of themselves away for fear of how they might be perceived by others, but it’s a vital skill and part of your journey. It would be awesome to fully embrace this and see where it leads you.

      @@makeitconscious All goodies, waiting is beneficial for me lol. Thank you, that’s very reassuring. Every few weeks I have almost the same moment where I feel the need to stop where my thoughts are leading and ask “Is this what it feels like to have a psychic break? If I keep this line of questioning or probing, will I come back the same?” Almost like Luke getting angry at Rey “You went straight to the dark”😂 And some days when I don’t feel crazy, I feel like I’m reading too much into signs and things that I hear, that I’m making it up. But most days I trust in the integration of what my body knows, and that spells and tarot aren’t doing the work for me, I am. But amazingly they manage to open some doors to get me where I need to be. At least where I think I should be. Anyways, I’m a great believer in affirmations and a personal favorite of mine lately is “I didn’t come this far to only come this far.” Still hoping I don’t go insane though 🤞🏻

    When I saw the title of this lesson, I really had to laugh to myself a little bit; the kernel of wisdom I received from my Sage figure during the exercise in the previous video was that I was given a pouch of seeds. I was told, effectively, “You get to choose how many seeds you plant, and where or when to plant them.” So seeing this title, “Planting a Seed,” so soon after, was a bit of a shock! Another really insightful session. I found that after reflecting on the 5 Elements and 5 Manifestations, many of my would-be questions seemed to answer themselves. Maybe I’m being too literal, however seeing my somatic manifestations in alignment to where I am in my own healing journey and general life issues, they all seemed very straight-forward. To the point that it took a while to come up with a question to use as my seed. Thank you for all of this. I’ll have to look into reading into more of the work of those whom you’ve mentioned throughout this talk, as some names have been unfamiliar. (Please feel free to share any particular book recommendations if you have them!) As I said, this session was really insightful and moving, as is so often the case. Really helpful in gaining clarity moving forward as well as looking back. My seed looked so rugged and like a raw wound, yet grew into something nurturing and beautiful. It was really interesting to consider the reciprocity in how it later nourished me very much the way I at first nourished it towards growth, to view that cycle as something so lovely and mutually beneficial. I think that previously I viewed our interactions (or lack thereof, lately) as being more of a unidirectional benefit - however now I can see so much more clearly that a cycle of creativity gives to you at least as much as you are able to give to it. I’m sure it will remain a process to bring this insight towards action, if I’m being realistic with myself. I should very much like to create a tangible symbol in my real life to represent what I envisioned as the seed when I started, and whose meaning shifted so much as the session continued. I’d love to be able to reconnect with it in my daily life to bring that lesson to the fore. I wonder if you have any thoughts on whether something like that would be beneficial, detrimental, or something else? (Or, rather, if you’d advise against making such an item, before I follow through? I don’t want to corrupt the vision, but I would like to be able to reconnect with it and recall those meaningful lessons and symbols.) I’m always astounded at how much depth of insight can be gained from such a short session. Thank you for offering and guiding these lessons and sessions; it’s always such an understatement to try to say how valuable they are. Whereas weeks or months or even years of journalling often seems to yield no firm insights, sometimes it feels like just by dipping a toe into these exercises, you find that the answers are so often just under the surface. Maybe the preliminary journalling attempts helped to bring those unconscious insights to more shallow waters, but it really surprises me every time. Like this unconscious part of the mind has been just waiting to tell me something, and the conscious mind has been just waiting to hear it… But the door between the two to allow communication just never got nudged open. So thank you so much for helping to open the door!

    • @makeitconscious
      @makeitconscious Před 13 dny

      Hey Comorants, wonderful to hear you’re getting so much benefit from active imagination, and getting such clear insight into the workings of the interaction. Experiencing a gift of seeds from the Sage right before this exercise was a nice synchronicity. I love how you described the reciprocal interaction and cycle of creativity between yourself and the unconscious content. That’s a beautiful way of putting it. It can certainly feel like stumbling upon some ancient lost technology when you get into the groove with this practice. And you kind of are. Even though it’s just one tool among many complementary practices - like journaling, studying and bodywork for example - nothing seems to get quite to the heart of the matter like setting the conditions and engaging directly with your own inner voice. It benefits though from all other practices such as those I describe in the Seven Habits guide. If the answers to the questions seem straightforward it could suggest the conscious stance is taking the leading role in those moments. A generally useful approach is to explore where you feel conflict - wherever you are suffering or feel tension. Wherever there’s conflict, suffering, tension or irony, there’s potential insight to be gained. This is in fact the mind’s way of letting us know when we’ve become misaligned. You ask a great question about creating a tangible symbol. Inherently there is no problem with this. Jung and Johnson themselves discussed various ways of expressing the active imagination experience physically, including through painting and crafts. Using some reminder to bring the lesson to the fore can be useful as a means to integrate it. At the same time it’s important to recognise that what you experienced is part of you, always has and always will be, whether consciously or unconsciously. It may not be at the forefront of your mind all the time, but nothing can be and that’s OK. Your experience suggests something that can be made meaningfully conscious within yourself, and it sounds like you went some way to achieving that in the exercise. So there is a case for expression as a way to remind yourself and integrate the content, as well as for letting it go, knowing that it’s already where it needs to be. I’d recommend taking whichever path seems most conducive to making the unconscious conscious. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. They are fascinating for myself and others to read and also raise some really valuable points and questions. Good stuff. You’re very welcome and it’s great to hear how much the exercises are helping. Probably because your questions are gentle probes which I use to go back into past times. I didn feel much with the 4th cup bcos I knew what was coming n blocked whatever the water had to tell me. However, the colour blue appeared instead, in the water. Not in a negative way, kinda like in a cocktail. I looked it up on my chakra list and it's the throat. Although I am sorry to hear of the throat symptoms you've been having. It can be fascinating to witness the symbolic depth and autonomous intelligence of the unconscious mind in action. And to see firsthand how what appears as a somatic symptom can be directly related to a psychological tension. Although that in itself is not always enough to 'cure' it. It sounds like you know where to look next. Keep moving towards the resistance. Thank you! This was such an insightful meditation exercise. Normally I don’t feel much anger, but this experience helped me connect more deeply with that emotion. Active Imagination: Justice Joan of Arc stands before me, wearing traditional medieval plate armour with red garments beneath her breastplate. With a sense of duty, she approaches and begins to knight me with her longsword, first my right shoulder, then my left. But when she reaches my head, she splits it in two, leaving me alone, bleeding, and bewildered. I stumble onto a trail that leads me into the woods, where I encounter her again. Desperate to connect, I say, "We’re the same, Joan. I also have visions." Her response is stern, devoid of emotion: "No, we aren’t." Anger surges within me, and I insist, "We’re the same." She counters, "No, we’re not. You are chaotic, like your mother." Her words push me to the edge, igniting my anger further. She continues, "I am more like your father." "I am not like my mother!" I scream, tears of frustration and disappointment streaming down my face. She pierces my heart with her longsword. I scream again this time in pain, as something heavy seems to leave my chest. Before her, on a table, rests an old-fashioned scale. On the left side is a feather from a mother duck that ate her chicks. On the right side lies my heart. The scale wavers like a seesaw, the balance constantly shifting. "You are, can’t you see?" Joan repeats, her voice unwavering. "You are like your mother." The scale tips, quivering as the weight shifts again. "You are not taking care of yourself, just like your mother. You are hurting yourself, just like she did." Suddenly, I grasp her meaning. "Do you mean well?" I ask, my anger subsiding. "Yes, I do," she replies. "Okay, I understand." She then offers me a shiny emerald, saying, "You are courageous." And with that, everything fades from view.

      Wonderful as always! Thank you so much! Not at all what I was expecting - it never is! -yet so fulfilling regardless. Your advice on staying with the experience more than focusing on documenting the experience as it occurred will be a personal challenge for me! Especially since this subject had been one I’ve been ruminating over for months… There’s often a sense that if it’s not captured as faithfully as possible, it’s almost a disservice to the experience - risking overlooking important elements. It’ll definitely be a challenge to slow down and “live in the moment” rather than rush to capture and analysis - but I think I see the value in it as well… As I said, however, it’ll be a challenge! I had a fun little coincidence within my experience here, where my Sage figure was in a garden, surrounded by flowers to the point that they were growing on her as well. I happened to look up the name she gave me later, simply because I tend to have a general interest in etymology and names. It turned out that her name was a variation on the name of a particularly fragrant flower (whose name I hadn’t been aware of at all). It’s not a stretch to say that her name “sounded pretty enough to be a flower,” but I did have a pleasant surprise to find out that that was more on the nose than I might’ve thought!

      Great work for going unguided. It does generally require more focus and energy but also potentially allows for a deeper, freer interaction. In the next episode of Beyond the Limen I will be discussing how to use a 'seed' for your active imagination. This might help with remaining connected with the material by acting as the inspiration and a point of reference. The seed can be many things including archetypes but also feelings, desires and other imaginary material such as from dreams. We will be practicing how to engage with many kinds of seed and maintain a two way interaction with it. The upcoming course How to Talk to Yourself will go into further detail about how to practice unguided, freeform active imagination using various seeds.

      @makeitconscious Před 19 dny

      @21cormorants That’s awesome! Great work and you’re very welcome. I hear you completely on it feeling like a disservice to the experience to not capture it. It’s natural to want to capture any profound and special experience. But in doing so it also creates a kind of distance between us and the experience. Once we capture it, it’s no longer the same thing as it was but a representation. The key is to allow yourself to immerse fully, being with it, and prepared to let it go just as it came. In this way you can deepen your connection and engagement with the unconscious material. Your synchronicity with the sage and the flower is a beautiful example of the symbolic depth and autonomous intelligence of the unconscious mind. The name connection is a powerful reminder that our unconscious often communicates in ways that are more profound than we realise. It sounds like this experience might even connect with broader, collective themes. I am reminded of The Empress card in the tarot. Thanks for sharing your experiences and well done for going deep🌟🔥

Not things I didn’t know, but things I don’t think I *fully* recognized and accepted. The symbols that appear before you even give them context are always so incredibly interesting… I had no expectations about who or what I’d meet going into this exercise - only that the few I’ve done “with you” in the past have always been extraordinarily interesting… But this one really felt like it dug deeper than I could have expected. It also made me really interested and intrigued to learn how this figure may shift over time and with more work applied. Meeting this figure really felt like it gave me a much more balanced view of my inner self, and it was so much more of a compassionate view than I have offered towards it as a concept before. Thank you for the comment! That’s awesome. Great work digging deep. It can be profound to see what symbols appear during active imagination. Being able to access the imagination in this way can feel like a kind of superpower, but in truth it’s something everyone has the potential to do. The imagination is, in the words of William Blake, “the human existence itself.” You’re right - often what appears in active imagination is that content which appears ‘immediately below the threshold of consciousness.’ There are many reasons why we might not fully recognise and accept this material. Often this is due to resistance which exists for good reason, but must ultimately be faced in moving forward. It is also often this subconscious material that presents our current main challenge towards greater freedom and self-knowledge. It’s great to hear that meeting your soul was such a profound experience. Sounds like it was a powerful affirmation of self-love. Shadow work can even be seen as finding and resolving all the ways in which we secretly harm ourselves and learning to practice self-love instead. Active imagination is one of the best ways I know of to get to the heart of the matter and peel back the layers. Thank you very much for the encouraging words. I’m humbled that these videos have made such an impact on you. You are doing the deep work and gaining the insights, so you deserve a lot of credit for that. Hey Ms Czeczenka, Great work for going deep and opening up to your emotions. This is key to shadow work and the process of individuation. As Jung said: "Emotion is the chief source of all becoming-conscious. There can be no transforming of darkness into light and of apathy into movement without emotion.” Feeling is often the part we naturally resist the most, but it’s also where much of the transformative work happens. So good on you for being willing to go there. This openness to feeling will serve you well as you continue to cultivate a relationship with all parts of yourself. Keep moving forward, working through resistance one moment at a time. For addressing financial blocks specifically, I recommend The Wall exercise. I suggest this to most new coaching clients at the start of their programme. There’s also an extended version on the Inner Work Exercises podcast if you'd like more time: The Wall - CZcams) - czcams.com/video/9o8AaoqQdv0/video.html Extended version - open.spotify.com/episode/2GONu2WZnOyln7Az35rfNZ?si=2U1fMVqxRX6DD5xwHarqbw I’d be interested to hear what comes up for you in that exercise. The results can sometimes be quite surprising, and block in our physical or financial world can often have their source in seemingly unrelated matters. Thank you for your kind comments and engagement. Strength to you and feel free to check in and keep sharing your experiences🌟🔥

    I did couple of active imagination, first one It was incredible,so so vivid. I seen beach, ocean and huge sun.I could even hear waves...I was standing on the beach, waves were high...then I tried few more times, I fall asleep or I could not see anything.... does that mean that my subconscious doesn't want to show me or cooperate? just wondering what's happen there

      Try doing in a position where it’s really hard for you to fall asleep

      Good work for beginning an active imagination practice. Sounds like you got a real taste of the value of this technique. The advice offered by @CartoonConspiracy1 is good. If you've been doing the exercises lying down, you could try switching to seated. It's most likely though that the exercise is just bringing some tiredness to the surface. So you could take it as a suggestion from the unconscious to rest more until you feel ready to engage with deeper content. Keep an eye out for Part 2 of Beyond the Limen coming out next week.

    Sometimes I ask myself for advice. Then I imagine myself as a seasoned old man and respond to myself as him, and he does me well.
