So happy for Toney,. He's a brilliant talent. To be that patient and be brought on when the game is essentially dead he'd have been annoyed, but to come up with that assist, right place right time moment. Played a huge part in us progressing.

Lads, not to put a dampener on things but you've got to either play your absolute hearts out come the next game or we''re going to get wiped. It's that simple. I've seen 70mins with night before kebab puked up or Dave from the Red Lion turn up as kicking off, still raging from his couple of cheeky lines. Many try a bicycle kick and damage their kidneys as it looks more like a dropkick, even seen broken rib pop out... and one headbutt the goal post.

I would love nothing more than for england to go on and win the tournament, but realistically that will not happen if they KEEP sitting off teams after they go ahead. When we went 2-1 up in first half of extra time, we literally parked the bus for 20 mins. Got lucky with slovakia, against the more talented teams, that's not going to work. You notice whenever england go behind, we press like crazy, play threatening attacks etc why can't we continue that momentum when were winning??

If Ivan Toney doesn't start on Saturday then Southgate will have a lot to answer for. It's true Toney hasn't scored much for Brentford since his return from his gambling ban but nevertheless he still brings a lot more to the game than just scoring goals. His assist for Kane to score the winning goal against Slovakia was an excellent example. And if we have to go to penalties against Switzerland he has to be on the pitch. Can someone please tell Southgate that Ivan definitely has to start!

Anyone decent absolutely batters us. We're scraping wins against Championship/League 1 level teams and Southgate doesn't see it as a problem. I even have us as underdogs against Switzerland even though we have superior players. I'd have ANY manager from a League 1/2 team over Southgate.
That has rarely happened against England.. They usually rise to the level of the opponant and then just get pipped. I honestly can't remember the last time England got battered in a compettive match (Argentina 1986?). It's rare. This is a talented England team and for the first time, they'll be playing a team with the same attacking intent and that could work in our favour.
