    The second most common lawn care mistake is fertilizing the lawn with chemical fertilizers. These fertilizers are high in salt which kill the microbes in a lawn causing a dead soil. When a soil is dead the only way to keep a lawn green is to fertilize with more chemical fertilizers.
    The third lawn care mistake people make is the unnecessary use of fungicides or insecticides. The most common fungus we see in lawns is Necrotic Ring Spot and the use of a fungicide is the worst thing you can do to correct the fungus problem.
