Home to the Croft family since the Domesday book, Croft Castle in Herefordshire, owned by the National Trust has many secrets to uncover. Find out about the Croft's as key players in pivotal moments of key British history and how they fought to keep their family home, particularly during the twentieth century. Visit to explore many ancient trees, an Iron Age hill fort, the Picturesque Fishpool Valley and a castle you can just imagine living in. The little ones can go wild in the mini castle and natural play areas and if you'd like to get involved, the team are looking for volunteers to help share stories of this special place.

My husband and myself are currently living in Belgium, I am considering a visit to the castle, as I am the Great, great, great,great granddaughter of Charlotte Croft and her husband Hon Right Reverend Edward Grey . I would be interested in viewing family portraits (of course) and learning more about the estates history.
