    Someone is now selling beds for the back of a Tesla. Just love it. Great vlog again. If the Leaf had liquid cooling for the battery I would have bought one.

    Since cold gate was discovered on the leaf the media made the leaf look bad and many car u tubers also but actually it is really a good car and reliable
    I am glade to be driving one this past year and the only cost for 12month and 17000km is 5 litres of antifreeze for windscreen washer.

    Another advantage for Leaf (62 kWh) in Finnmark: All Ishavsveien HPC are equipped with 200A CHAdeMO!

      And they charge per kWh. HPC is only 12% more expensive than 50kW..
      Nice with charge per kWh if the battery is overheating..

    As it has a heat pump, it would be good to try putting the heating to the max (with some windows open to dissipate heat) to help cool the battery down while charging in winter ☺️

    • @CutterSlade001
      @CutterSlade001 Před 3 lety

      Kind of yes, it has a heating element in the coolant stream it uses if the battery gets too cold to scavenge heat from. It's just not directly heating the cabin air.

    • @salibaba
      @salibaba Před 3 lety

      From looking at other videos on the subject, the only viable way to do that with 230v in a leaf is to connect an AC inverter to the 12v system. Best not to put too high a load on it though as the leaf DC-DC converter outputs around 1kW to the 12v system. This maintains the battery and accessories so putting a constant draw above this would strain the system and deplete the 12v lead acid.
