- Oh my was this a big project. I noticed this house a year ago and when I came across it again I asked if the home owner would be interested in having it cleaned. Turns out the home owner is a 94 year old lady that was living in a a physical therapy facility and couldn't afford to have it cleaned. So I offered to do it for free. She gladly excepted.
There was tons of moss removed from this driveway, stairs and retaining walls. The results speak for themselves.

Helping the elderly like this is something every city should have a team to do. At least three people who do this every day. The whole thing looks great and that was a lot of work.

It always amazes me how non of her neighbours would ever think of doing that for her. People just dont have time for anyone else these days iam always helping my neighbours with things like that

You probably saved her from a broken hip at least. Mold and moss are very slippery to say the least. Thak you for helping her out. It was a lot of extra work scraping all that moss off
This was a job of both big kindness and needing a lot of courage to work on. Moss has a lot of bulk.... Nice work refinding the wall under plant growth, and that would have been tougher with hand shears. Looked good. Good job renewing a lost door entrance. 4:06. You have done several good things, you noted she needed help, and you are helping her while she is alive and can enjoy the Renewal, the transformation is also going to be good for the neighborhood. (As a point of humor, Sean of Blade Mate once mowed a very difficult slope and counted the number of times he had to empty the lawnmower bag...some 40. We would all probably have enjoyed your counting of how many bucketfuls of moss you shoveled.) At 14:32 we have several features: the first is a grime line, between where you have cleaned the steps and the driveway not touched yet; next, was the shift of elegance returning to the home as design lines are more seen. You are doing well with your wand, but in this case, I was wishing you had a Surface Cleaner to help you. At 38:09, the astounding work and change you made is evident. Clean, neat, a huge difference in appearance and safety.
Thank you for your comment. I was going to use my surface scrubber at the end but just decided to keep going with the gun. I should have recorded how many buckets. I lost count. Next time!
This is amazing. I couldn’t believe how much most there was. You just kept sweeping and sweeping.even after you had gone over it once and you went back to the top, I couldn’t believe how much most was STILL there. Almost never ending. Great job.

@@chasetonga That's quite a judgment on someone who you have no idea of their situation. Just looking at the outside of someone's house and automatically assuming they are "rich" is quite telling about you. If you read in the description of the project that the woman is 94 years old and in a physical therapy facility (which we all know is incredibly expensive now), it's not unimaginable that she could be in financial jeopardy to try to keep her house while struggling with her healthcare. There's a very good chance that she will lose her house. I've seen it happen many times to elderly that don't have any family or additional support structure and are in failing health.
So, rather than presume or pass judgement on someone's financial situation, why not be be thankful that there are really kind people in the world, like the gentleman doing this work, who are willing to step up and be kind and helpful to others regardless of whether they are deemed "needy" by others?

Being 94 all it would take is one slip and that would be a hospital run. You did a GREAT favor for her and I'm sure she sure appreciated the job you did. I've been doing this for WEEKS at my job. Never having done this kind of pressure washing before I started using just the regular yellow tip but had to go get a turbo nozzle because it's the only thing that will cut through that kind of moss. Great work man

Wonderful. When it started I thought it might be here in the UK where is so wet moss seems to be the living thing most at home in my garden but no, was USA. lots of moss there too. In World War I and earlier nurses used moss - sphagnum moss - it is an incredibly wonderful product to absorb liquid and put on wounds even. It is better than concrete actuall in terms of flood risks IF it is moss on soil (obviously we don't want it on driveways of 94 years who could slip of course).
