I think the first step to having healthy hair is to NEVER do your hair when you’re rushed, upset, or too tired. You can cause unnecessary damage.
I love the before and after!!! A lot of people aren’t understanding the answer to the title of the video, but you’re showing us. The first step to healthy hair is to reduce the amount of direct heat you put on your hair, which is why you used rollers on your client’s hair. Also, it is very important to trim your hair when necessary. Doing both will allow the hair to thrive.... become stronger, healthier, and have more length retention.
You might be correct, but shouldn't we be hearing this from the licensed professional??
@@mbadger9084 I could care less if you hear it from me or someone else. If you have a problem with not hearing it from the professional, then you can simply @ her.
Nobody talking bout the African representation of the colorful gorgeous rich bold bracelets and necklace you have Queen.👑That right Black is beautiful.AFRO-🇧🇧& 🇯🇲 FOREVER

I actually like it better when you took the rollers out. Those thick girls were beautiful.
No that looked a mess.

I never really understood rolling up the hair and then flat ironing it. Thr endjng results are nice, but I would have skipped the rollers.
Phoenix Sollee stretches the hair without excessive amounts of heat the blow dryer can give and makes the press more voluminous pretty good technique actually.
AA A it wasn’t a mess.
the principal at a school where i once taught addressed her staff and said “remember, whenever youre dressing for the day ALWAYS wear at least one item that speaks to and celebrates your African heritage.” I see you, Sis😘
Wow, I love that!
@@rozchristopherson648 African heritage is more than just hair.
Dumfries Spearhead Yes, it is more than JUST hair. I never said African pride is JUST hair. Don’t misquote me. African pride is many things. But it also includes hair.
Her hair is gorgeous. I love her Afro hair.
I just love how you use the rollers to stretch the hair before flat iron instead of using the blow dryer cause I think it’s so much healthier using the rollers and it gives a lot of body. Are you in Georgia? If not, let us know when you decide to do a tour😁🤗🤗. Clients hair is gorgeous the curls after taking the rollers and the after flat iron is so nice🤩🤩. Now let’s talk about how gorgeous she is too.
Annie Doe she’s in Atlanta
Coco Cole perfect! Thank you!!
Ok so this why she use
Rollers i was wondering because she still flatniron
Thanks
@@jv-sc1fs okay! 🤦🏽♀️😂 Now I know. Less heat .
Coco Cole do you know her address ?im in Georgia as well just 2-3 hours away from Atlanta.
She is a beautiful girl.
Her skin ✨
Same thing I said 😍😍
First thing I noticed too was not the hair but the beauty of this lady👌

Is it just me or is the video missing sound???
Chanell Campbell it’s what I came to the comments for
Chanell Campbell it doesn’t have sound . She sometimes doesn’t put sound on her videos .
@@angelica7588 thanx i was so confused i kept turning my bluetooth on and off
Lol it does not ❤️
Such a shame,
good video minus the audio it could have been Great...
The hair looked 100% best with big curls on.
The hair while in the rollers is such a vibe! I love that look! #classic!
Awesome job per usual!! 🖤
Her hair is beautiful either with the set or the flat iron. As a Caucasian female with that poker straight hair as with the flat iron, I yearned for any kind of curl in my hair. Would sit for a couple of hours to get my hair permed into curls. She has beautiful hair and you did a fantastic job with both styles.
I remember roller setting my hair back in the 80’s . Love your work , love watching your channel
Thank you so much ❤️
Me too. That bounce in my hair was epic. Good days!
Back in the day, was it called a "wet set "?
@@tinasoblessed6350 it's still called that
@Breonna Taylor yeah I agree we should go back to the style because these rollers make hair thicker and fast growing, less breakages. I wish I had that style again but due to a lot of relaxers damaged my hair, now my hair is natural and use homemade hair cream..
Such a pretty girl. Thank you ladies for not pulling out your edges and breaking the hair with the rough blow drying and brush. Black women are naturally pretty. You don't need to have hair like white women. The wigs, 3in eyelashes, heavy make up are rediculous
Lmao. Its not just white women who have long straight here or even grow long hair naturally, asians, hispanics, etc do as eell. In fact non nlack women have natural long hair and uts not their fault that black women do so many things to themselves to look different inckufing destroying their oen hair with weaves
I feel weird for being this way but I can’t watch the videos with no sound lol I thought you were going to be talking through this one because of the title 😩
Secilie Jones she did that because first people were complaining about no sound then she got music Nd they were still complaining 🤦🏽♀️ She just couldn’t win for losing.
Coco Cole really? I can’t watch a video with no sound I don’t have the attention span for that lol but they probably want her to talk through them a little. In my opinion I’d prefer a balance- some talk thrus (especially if she’s doing a style she doesn’t normally do) and some with just music (like the silk presses since she has plenty of videos of that) 🤷🏽♀️ I was just really thrown off with the title and no sound
Secilie Jones I agree I was thrown off because of the title. I didn’t mind the music though, I thought she had a good playlist.
Voice overs are good .
@@seciliejones3794 I feel the same I immediately started reading comments instead of paying attention to the video.
This is like the prettiest woman i have ever seen
You don't get around much...hmmm?😁😚😙
Yess she’s very pretty and I love how this hair dresser takes her time. 🙌🏿❤️
Lydia Flowers the ugly ones always hate the most 🤦🏻♀️
I love the quietness of the video. So therapeutic just watching you do your thing ❤ Great job as usual and PERFECT cut 😍😍
Thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️😘
👀
My favorite part is _always_ end trimming. The hair looks so healthy.
Wow! Amazingly impressed in the “magic” of this artists hands!
Such a Beautiful young lady! Love her hair! You do such a wonderful job Eden!!!!❤🌹🤗
She’s gorgeous!!!!
Amazing her hair looks so healthy love the thickness 2 🥰🥰🥰
This Young Lady is Blessed! I Love how she does Hair... I wish she could be My Hair Dresser!!! 💖😟
Amazing work! That trim was well needed. The silkiness, shine and body... Love it! 🤗
Her hair is beautiful. You did a wander full job. And she is a beautiful girl.
Olivia Pope vibes 😎😍 Beautiful results
Sooo pretty I would just walk out with the curls! 😍
I’m going to try a roller set after seeing this video. No flat iron, though.
Ummmm where is the sound???... i thought you would be explaining the first steps of healthy hair???
the roller setting is a nice look if that’s All that’s happening... it’s extra damage on the hair to roll then go under the dryer for over an hour. then to also run the flat iron through it..a smooth blowout with a paddle brush is safe and quicker
Wow! What a beautiful head of hair! 😩😍
She asked " What's the first step to healthy hair?"🤷♀️ I would have liked to have heard your answer. Could have been a teachable moment.
Her hair is gorgeous. I really liked for it looked one you took out the rollers. So curly and cute. But the straight way was just as nice too.
Wow!! Fantastic results!! So shiny...silky and healthy looking!
I was hoping she would cut all those bad ends off and she did! Satisfaction !!!
Chile, you did that. That shine, though! This took me back to my childhood. Nice job!
I wish I didn't have to wear makeup and still look drop dead gorgeous like your client.
Wearing makeup is a choice.
@@icilmaa She's beautiful without it.
@@jenniferk.2569 Find products that work for your skin that you can treat your skin so you may feel comfortable when wearing your natural skin or makeup. You never know what was someone's process or journey to get where they are today and she probably thought the same until she began taking care of her hair and treating her skin. You are beautiful just the way you are, it takes you believing that and no one else. The same results you are expecting while watching this video ? You have to apply to get the ball rolling. Change doesn't start with envy but it starts with you making that change.
@@jenniferk.2569 My comment was directed at you not the lady in the video.
What's the purpose if getting all those beautiful curls with rollers, then using the flat iron to take them out?
HER HAIR CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY AND SHE LOOK GREAT !!
Eden is beautiful and so are her clients
Very detailed. Love the results. Also, thought I would let you know there's no sound.
The no sound is intentional
Nice job nice hair!!! Black girls hair PRICELESS!!! THEY CAN DO A TRILLON STYLES WITH THEIR HAIR!!¡ ALL OTHERS CAN DO IS TRY AND KINDA COPY!!!
She’s so pretty! I love watching your videos! They are so interesting to me.🌸
My mother uses hair rollers after she washes her hair too.
Me too, my hair become thicker and grow fast without any heat at all. That why I never set my foot in hairdressers.
@@georginabuckle6405 I want to order me some rollers soon. Do you set under the dryer at home? What about air dry? I notice to when I roll my hair it grows better and look healthy. Trying to retrain my hair back to rollers. Thanks
@@dewanajohnson6028, no you don't need rollers under hair dryer. Instead you use scarf and tye your hair rollers overnight. In the morning use conditioner leave in and vitamin E, any kind of moisture cream.
@@georginabuckle6405 got it. Thanks a bunch. 2020 healthy hair goals!!!
That is the best method to have healthy hair
My question is what is the first step?? Lol
@Kalah James she put the instruction information in the description box. Scroll dw under her channel name. According to someone's comment above, she received complaints about music playing etc... Can you believe that? SMDH WE all have a choice to turn our phone volume dw or off. It doesn't bother me either way. I appreciate her skills!!!🤷🏽♀️🗣HER channel HER rules!!!
Wash & condition your as you normally do, style hair rollers with setting lotion, then wrap silk scarf or sleeping hair protective net for overnight.
1st step to heather hair ... stop using perms
Stop the hair weaves. Go back to old school wash conditions moisturize and flat iron or just go natural.
Moisturizing. No sound.
Where is located
Why don’t you talk ? 💀 the silence is killing me
No seriously. Can I get a drum piano , guitar . This is wierd
@@shaniquaj6647 LOOOL
I was also expecting the answer to the question “What is the first step to healthy hair?”
So actually I still don’t know...
@@shaniquaj6647 😂😂😂
I am deaf and silence is so bliss! I just use my eyes as a sense of hearing with visual and detective.
Her hair is gorgeous, it just goes to show you black hair can be healthy & manageable.
No weave, extensions, wigs..which is not good for hair health it tugs on the hair. Embrace you own hair, you don't have to wear someone else.
Just as beautiful in the beginning, end, as was after the rollers.
So what's the first step to health hair? Rollers?
L D I think what she was trying to demonstrate is that the first step to healthy hair is by reducing the amount of direct heat (blow drying) prior to flat ironing. That’s why she used the rollers, especially since they stretch the hair and you get smooth results. It’s just a healthier alternative if you’d prefer this method over blow drying.
I hate using flat iron after rollers, the curl gone and heats damage hair. Arg!!
Georgina Buckle especially when the curls are so bouncy and shiny! 😩
The silence is crippling. The hair is beautiful great job.
Now that's awesome she beautiful , you did excellent trim you didn't just whack off mass amounts of her hair and the bounce & shine ..wow
I love watching you do hair 😍 your clients hair is so healthy
Hermoso trabajo Bendiciones
Wow!!✨💫💥🌟hopefully the hairstylist got a very nice extra tip...💥🌷sure lot of hard work!!🌹😋🌟💥
Exclente método que utilizaste de los Rolos y luego la plancha!! Esa es la mejor forma de cuidar tu cabello!👏👏👏👏
Am I the only one enjoying the video without the sound
Jacquline Chinkwita-Phiri I definitely am!
i actually like it too lol
Liked it too. A refreshing change. Sometimes the music in YT videos in general is too loud. Best videos have music playing lower as background OR if they have voiceovers.
I love it!

How does the hair you do always come out Soo beautiful 😍. You're Soo awesome girl!

The first step to healthy hair it accepting whatever hair type you have then takeing care of it.
Eden is very good at her job!😁
Ms. Eden what a beautiful job. I can't wait to get back to the U.S., I am definitely coming to sit in your chair. I wish you could come to Spain, so many of our sisters are looking for a great hairstylist for natural hair. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful sis. Not a lot of heat Rollers set.😎🤗
Her hair looks beautiful.
First step to healthy hair is much less heat and good solid ends clipped period and lastly moisture to keep hair from being dry
I'm in love with her hair
Oooooh weeeeee😆
Beautiful hair❤💕❤🙏

The first genuine step is refrain from any heat. Even if it’s a roller set under a dryer

I like how you do roller sets to prevent less heat damage.
Wow that is a hair transformation and she makes look sooo easy!!
Does this technique work on any hair type? Even really tight hair.
Not really
It definitely does! ❤️

Thank God! No sound. Loved it. I just want to see the process. No commentary needed. Good job.
such healthy hair
Black women must have the toughest heads. I never see anyone wincing in pain from the detangling process.
I love this , my hair looks like this texture 😍
You are a great hair stylist that took a lot of patients and you have such finess on doing her hair. I’m a white hair stylist I wish I had black clients to do. Where are you located would like to visit you?
I think she’s in Atlanta
I played my own music while watching 🤷🏽♀️ Fantastic job!
I think she looks better with her natural hair. im white and i love afro hair
That girl is absolutely beautiful. I’m enjoying watching your videos. I’ve wondered how black women take care of their hair. I’m not racist so pls don’t think I am but I’m just wondering as your curls are so tight and tiny. Do you have to have certain brushes and combs to use. It looks like it’s hard to take care of. It’s beautiful hair
Yh we use wider bristles or wide tooth combs and lots of conditioner
Yes!
