The update option is not showing in the Galaxy Wear app
Does anyone else have issues with the sleep mode. It used to be fine before the update. Now the Do Not Disturb comes on and off as it pleases, I have it in sync with the phone. And now when I press the mode button I have to make another selection of sleep or theater mode. I liked it being two different buttons.
I think GW4 Classic LTE has not received update yet so, it will not work on LTE version for now🤔🤔🤔🤔

Thank you for this video and for making the directions so easy to understand. I followed the procedure exactly. Before, my battery would drain from 100% to 21% between 7AM and 5PM. Right now, it's been off the charger for about 18.5 hours and it's still at 63%, which is remarkable. Unfortunately, though, I did have to do a reset yesterday because I still could not get the watch and phone to connect. Thankfully, I had a recent backup so I did not lose anything.

Ever since my watch and or Galaxy Flip5 update to ine UI 5, I have had problems, including sleep mode randomly changing. Now, for the past two days, I have not been able to connect the two devices. I have tried everything I know, including clearing the cache on the Wear app, restarting over and over (both devices), uninstalling and reinstalling the Wear app, and doing the "Transfer to New Phone," all to no avail. I am able to get through to 100% for the install but then the phone shows "Cannot connect to watch." I don't want to do a factory reset, but after spending hours trying to resolve the problem, and watching countless videos, AND reading forums, I feel like that is my only option. Someone please help!
So, I have 5 pro, USA. After watching your video yesterday, I did a factory reset. That fixed my auto brightness problem. I just checked battery usage after a full charge yesterday and it showed Assistant at 27%, Play services at 12%. I just did the clear cache and rechecked battery drain and assistant dropped to 15%, play services at 3.7%. Funny, before auto brightness would not go below 70%, after reset it would go completely dim in ambient light, unusable. Now after clear cache, auto brightness is about normal. Weird stuff going on. I'm giving it a full charge and see where my battery life ends up.

That denotes a extremely leak of care of Samsung with beta testing. That's so simple that MUST be automated
Just a suggestion: factory reset your watch and clear cache after updating to One UI 5.0, my Watch 4 classic's battery time has improved.

Mine used to go upto 2 days now after update 1.5 days

I got one ui 5 on galaxy watch 4 classic. But battery is draining relatively fast because of google play services. Its is so frustrating. Does any one have any solution for that?

Battery life has been improved very much!
But even after i whipped cache it is still very buggy.
Sleep mode stopped entering "do not disturb" mode,
notifications randomly do not preview on the screen (i see onlt blur background).
This is very frustrating! I would have go back to 4.5 if i had a chance
so many problems with sleep mode after December 1 patch applied.... back on this video, trying again. at least you care about us ❣️
I came back to say thank you. I was aware about everytime after a major update I need to clear cache but I didn't really believe that this would fix this battery issue. I am at 54% after 11+ hours of fully charged. Even with one ui 4.5 I was on maximum 28 hours, but that was very very rare. Most of the time ii was under 24 hours.
You never stated any conclusion. The numbers seem to make sense and work out correctly, so what's your point??
@skankytrick Before i deleted the cache, the watch was barely making 16 hours before it went dead. Now it makes a whole 24h.

@@mikaelastefkova please try to Unrestricted the battery for the Smart switch app. It looks like it helps with auto backup for the watch.

Is anyone seeing the Bluetooth on GW4 turning on automatically after taking off the watch for a bit (it gets locked) and putting it back on? It is happening after the latest update, but I am not sure what is off or if the BT scanning function is misbehaving
I cannot believe it I finally got it today in Connecticut they brought back the wrist detection option also which I hear nobody talking about now if you have tattoos you still get your messages even if you're watches off you

How frequent do we need to do this cache wiping?
I have recently purchased a watch 5 pro. The first two battery cycles were 4+ days, then suddenly it went down to around two days. Then based on this video I did the wipe. Again two battery cycles were around 4 days, then now the watch can perform only 2 days with one charge.
Did that a few days ago and I'm not sure if I notice a change in battery life? Did you have a significant improvement?
I did it also but didn't really fix anything. What worked for me a bit with battery was resting the watch.
The effectiveness will vary between devices, especially if you haven't had your device for a long period of time. Resetting can be another good way to refresh your watch, if you don't mind the wait.
What is the problems? Haven't had any problems with my gw4 classic since the update

I just got my update for the Samsung Galaxy 5 Pro LTE version but I'm with T-Mobile so it just come out on September 19th
I just found a bug after updating the Galaxy watch 4 to UI 5.
When the watch and mobile are connected remotely with wifi, modes like the sleep and theater modes are not syncing up between the devices.
Is there any fix for this please. Thank you

Doesnt work on watch 5 pro no reboot settings coming up
Hold both buttons until the Samsung Rebooting menu pops up. Release both buttons and repeatedly tap the top button until the Recovery menu appears. Then continue following the directions on this video.
Calling for 2 3 minutes on gw4 it says cooling down and than goes aeroplane mode... so frustrating any help regarding this plz

I have done this but I'm currently unable to re-add my card to Samsung Pay.
i tried it again and it shows card info incorrect. can you help me with this? and also ever since the update my watch 4 stoped showing the name of the contact, I can see the contacts on the contacts app but when I get a call all I see is number (i allows all the permissions and re checked it too both for the wear app and on the watch). the wear app just keep popping up and does nothin on my phone.

The lte versions will get it later because of the carrier support. It would be a Shame when they would not work with the carrier you are using so that's why Samsung is waiting to test everything.

unfortunately no google play isn't there I wish it was but you should try to restart your watch and then try

Anyone else having problems with the media controls? When I play music on my phone, a small music symbol should appear at the bottom of my Galaxy Watch 4. After the One UI 5 update it no longer appears even though it is on in the settings.
I have the same. Plus my watch is very unstable and draining more battery. For this problem looks like the watch faces from originally the watch still working, the downloaded not. I had to uninstall WhatsApp too. The battery looks better now. The Reminder stopped working too. Samsung did a really bad job on this UI. I'll try this option later and see what happens. Otherwise we have to wait for one more update from Samsung. Regretted.
@@hdcamara I restarted my watch and the media controls are displayed again. otherwise I haven't discovered any major errors. Try that too. a simple restart sometimes helps.
@@DjokoFaca updating the topic. I did the solution shown on the video. My battery got worse. Your solution can helps for sure, however I think a recovery is unacceptable. I have a Samsung S10 3 years old and I've never need to restore it.
@@hdcamaraI also have a Galaxy S10 😅 If restarting your Watch doesn't help, you'll probably have to wait for the next Update. If an update causes a lot of problems, Samsung usually releases a new one quickly. So it could be that a new Update for the Watch will be released in the next few Days or Weeks.
@@DjokoFaca Thanks man! The watch is very good, mine is almost 2 years old and for the first time I got disappointed with this. I think Samsung is already taking some action about it. Let's wait for that. I'm avoiding to restore it at all costs 😅
