Does Trayce Jackson-Davis have all-star potential?
Not all-star but good
Yes
he can if he gets more minutes and stay consistent
maybe
He can be an all-star, all-defense, and a potential DPOY... I can even seem him making all-nba teams
"TJD put the whole of France in the basket!"
Fitz, we love you!! 👍👏😂😂
Every team in the league was scared of the pitbull puppy.
The Warriors are gonna feed him & train him then unchain the beast.
Every team in the league should be scared.😢
@@JasonlaroseLaRose love it! ♥️💯
Thanks bro
No we don’t. They’re ranked the worst commentators 😂 I don’t mind Fitz as much as Kalenna though
This dude is proof that having a full college career combined with a strong organization - can create magic. TJD has been stellar
4yr college brings experience, maturity, confidence
@@lucky889s9Brunson a good example too
Agreed
Like Steph Curry did. And one has a college education, in case the money gets spent too fast.
Dude is the Purdy of basketball
that dunk on Wemby was Impressive
Yes, though in replays it's a very obvious offensive foul unfortunately.
@@nitailevi8001 Cry harder lil girl
@@nitailevi8001 yeah, it's a lot easier to dunk over someone when you wrench their blocking arm out of the way 🤣
@@kolsthe blocked Giannis 3 times the game prior too

That’s dope how his dad played for the warriors and was number 32 now his sons doing the same.
Didn’t know that
Remember his dad Dale was a monster around the basket, along with Antonio, no easy layups between them. Those 90s pacers with rik smits, reggie, jalen rose, travis best were awesome
@@iamtheonlywilly yeah it wasn’t for very long at all. I don’t even think a full season but still pretty wholesome.
@@lucky889s9 yeah it wasn’t my era but watching highlights he was definitely a monster reminds me of Shawn kemp a lil.
@@eightheistfun fact: warriors got 3 juniors on the team from with Curry, Payton II, and Davis. NBA royalties
I’m so happy he’s getting the recognition he deserves. He is a genuine stud. Coming from an IU fan
Was pissed asf when I saw pacers didn’t draft bro
@@makemoney4207 same.he would have been a great fit next to Hali but I’m also glad the warriors took him .
I also really like Jarace Walker
Pacers: Guys! We desperately need a power forward. WHO DO WE CHOOSE?!?
Everyone in Indiana: Hey! We actually know a guy...
Couple corrections/additions from a big Hoosiers fan: Something that happens sometimes in the second round and happened with trayce, is when you get past pick like 35, the 2nd round pick contracts are usually non guaranteed, and the Warriors called Trayce and told him they'd trade into the draft to take him and give him a guaranteed deal. So when you get that promise from a team, you have your agent spread the word for others teams not to draft you. The pacers in their post draft presser alluded to the fact that they probably would've taken trayce in the 40s had they not been told not to. Indiana's best insider journalist was at trayce's draft party and was relaying all of this to us fans in real time, and it played out exactly the way we were told it was about to. Trayce likely goes around 40 overall otherwise. Also, trayce is really good, but golden state couldn't be a more perfect situation for him, their whole roster can shoot which takes that pressure off of him, they value basketball iq and passing extremely highly, and they have a massive need for a vertical threat and rim protector. We were all ecstatic when we found out gsw was his landing spot, we would not be talking about trayce as a massive steal this way if he hadn't gone to golden state, he'd be misused and underappreciated on 90% of teams. And then a small thing, trayce is a pure 5, he's pretty much never played the 4 anywhere in his career.
As mediocre and inconsistent as we've been for most of this season it's been truly heartening to see TJD and Podz thrive so quickly in addition to JK taking the massive leap we've been hoping for. and becoming a starter. With Moody still working hard and IMO proving that he deserves more minutes every time he plays and Quinones also impressing despite limited opportunities the future is very bright for Golden State. Go Dubs!
Still can't believe warriors got another robbery. Those are 2 steals with Podz. Too excited in bucks game when 2 rookies locked down Giannis and Dame
Dale Davis is his father?! No wonder this kid is special. NBA royalty right there!
Remember his dad Dale was a monster around the basket, along with Antonio, no easy layups between them. Those 90s pacers with rik smits, reggie, jalen rose, travis best were awesome

this guy can actually give Warriors a hope for a ring!
You’re deluded
That TJD Tweet sounds like the Steph statement in 2021 after being eliminated from contention “y’all better watch out next year”
Expect it’s a bum

They found a Tim Duncan type and just let him go to the Warriors…I’m good with this arrangement! 🎉🎉

Jackson-Davis great topic Hoop Reports this was so necessary 💯 thank you
Before 2023 draft I watched most of the candidates and besides the unanimously recognized top 10, I most appreciated GG Jackson, Podziemski, TJD, Kobe Brown, Ben Shepard, Hunter Tyson, Colby Jones, T. Vukcevic, etc. GSW got 2 great acquisitions, well done! (Mavs fan).
The answer to your question about Pods becoming Pods. The lazer-sharp bounce pass from mid-court to a streaking TJD who slammed it home. Both studs!

4yr college brings experience, maturity, confidence. The other prospects selling on potential and end up as bust. Look at no 25-56, who's got playing time?
Remember his dad Dale was a monster around the basket, along with Antonio, no easy layups for opponents when they both on the floor. Those 90s pacers with rik smits, reggie, jalen rose, travis best were awesome coached by Larry Bird
Kudos to TDJ for staying in college for the 4 years. I love to hear his interviews. He’s polite, respectful, and is learning from the best in the NBA today. He was meant to be a Warrior!
Great video, as always.
Everything Wiseman isn't
Teams draft based on potential, not necessarily performance.
exactly hes 24, only a year younger than shai
He was drafted solo, mainly because he was a senior. And that’s a big problem with the draft we keep trying to draft younger based off potential instead of who can actually play. .
HoopReports is the best NBA channel, also 3d comment
I think that's a bit of a stretch, but I'd be willing to go as far as calling it the second best Warriors channel. I can't ever get enough celebration audits from Dubs HQ
Seventy ONE point FOUR. 😉 Still CRAZY!
Kudos for him yesterday vs NYK 💪💪💪
keep up the good work, lets go warriors!!!!
There's 1 reason and 1 reason only why TJD was drafted higher, because he doesn't shoot 3's. Weird, the modern NBA believes that any and all players must shoot the 3, however, Curry and the Warriors who created the modern NBA don't. lol
This kid is a 24-carat gold 🥇found and bought by Warriors, so lucky👍🤣a proven star in the making🌟⛹🏿♂️
1:55 dyslexia is messing with you xD
Nice Video Dude.. I Really Understand Now, Why TJD Never Shot 3 Points And All About Him, A Solid Defense Player.
Idk what’s crazier, TJD being drafted so low or the fact Kerr was giving Corey Joseph minutes instead of TJD
I was at the Bucks game and the pop when TJD dunked was crazy i am starting to love him more and more
Today also vs NYK ..back to back dunk block ❤💪
He reminds me a little of my favorite Warrior: Clifford "Johann" Ray. Man, I loved him....and his beret...
Let's go TJD
I think the NBA should make a Most-unexpected Player. This is different from MIP because no one saw TJD doing this.
No one cares either
Sure as hell missed him, Race Thompson and Schifino at IU this year. This was an embarrassing season. The fact Jalen Hood-
Shifino was drafted before TJD, even though IU would have had zero success without him tells me these execs have a "type" and if you're not a 3 point shooter they will ignore you. I can't imagine the amount of potential superstar bigs that have been passed up because of the analytics cult that all the GM's seem to be in. Steve Kerr knew from draft night he had stolen the draft. That's even funnier because all the other GM's are trying to copy GS's and Houstons former success with 3 point shooters.
Humble young man
Also. Mike Dunleavy has a connection with TJD family and representation. So once he slipped the 2nd round TJD peoples and Mike D made it known if you draft him he would head overseas, which scared some teams off. So they used some effective back door channels as well. And I'm NOT MAD AT ALL that my dubs got him.
Main reasons he fell:
Draft age
Size
Not able to stretch the floor
Perceived low ceiling
Main reasons why we picked him:
My tweet telling them to trade into the 2nd round(jk)
High floor guy
Day 1 contributor despite Kerr’s hesitation to play him
Good passing
Rim running threat
Decent rim protection
High BBall IQ
This channel is always in real talk
He reminds me of Bam Adebayo which makes me glad the Warriors got him. He will do great in the future and we should never trade or get rid of him ever at all!
This man never fails to hype up the Warriors 😅😂😅😂😅😂
Warriors got two top 10 rookies…they struck again.
2023-TJD and Podz
2021- Kuminga and Moody
Trayce is our best big man💯
It's always you have people who judge a book by its cover before they see what the potential of a person is
Warriors know how to find gems!
Warriors didnt need a 3pt shooter. Man's found his home for sure, he fit so well with what the warriors needed.
Sometimes it’s not being overlooked , simply it was just where he was and is supposed to be . As they say it was written so he is where he is supposed to be and simply if he was overlooked thank u for this scouts . And dunleavy they picked u as a warrior and I thought maybe not at that pick but hey u did a hell of a job on this move
Steal of the draft 🔥🔥🔥💯🎯
And Podz too. Never imagine 2 rookies locked down Giannis and Dame
Why is it baffling that he was chosen late in the draft?
We already have Jokic as the poster boy for being chosen close to last but coming out on top nonetheless.
Uhhhhmmm. Pssst… TJD already had a contract before he was drafted. His agent is Mike Dunleavys brother…
TJD WHEN YOU SEE this bro!! Just know we rooting for you
My only problem with trayce is sometimes he helps out on D to much giving the bigger guys on the floor a chance to score
The Pacers really missed out on TJD.
For real...
But, realistically, do you think Carlisle would play him?
Greta vid! 🔥
Low-key, I think Looney and Dario are hating on the rookie Trayce getting more playing time, i could see it in their faces sitting next to each other on the bench when trayce let josh hart score on him in the paint, but not like they can do any better. Kerr does put some iffy lineups at some iffy times in the game, the players got to be feeling something on the bench. even curry gets benched at some weird times.
Indiana guy here. Yes, I hope we do regret it. Sheppard is fantastic and Walker is looking good, too, but I can't believe the Pacers snubbed TJD like that. His dad was part of THE most iconic Pacers (NBA) lineup.
It's great to see him out there making himself known. Take care of our boy.
Yeah that was rough to diss him like that, especially when they chose picks like Mojave King, Isaiah Wong, and jarace Walker instead.
Looks like the bay Area fans already adore him. And looks like he's gonna bring it everytime playing against pacers now😂
@@lucky889s9 Walker hasn't gotten a lot of minutes, but he's been looking good. And he was great in the G League, for whatever that's worth.
But, uh... yeah... Some of those other picks are a little weird. Especially with how hard the Pacers were looking for a 4 with strong defense.
Because hes already 24 and doesn't have that much potential compared to other prospects. And tbh, we wont be this relevant if hes not in the Warriors. But yeah, he deserved to be a first round pick
Because 4yr college tho brings confidence, experience, maturity. Can be valuable contributor off the bench. Look at no 20-56 before him, mostly in G league and maybe out of NBA in a few years. Look at Wiseman who's selling "potential" Not any better with pistons
One of the dumbest things ive ever heard..... if you were a employer and interviewed a 18 yr old excited about working but had no experience and the next guy was 23 with 4 yrs experience in your field and not only that is the runner up best employee in the country, has the most production at a major corporation in history of said place, and is a model employee... your telling me you would take the 18 yr old? ... lets be real, its stupid! your logic along with pro scouts is just well..... upside down and backwards!
Other younger prospects selling on "potential" May be still in G league and out of NBA in a few years. Look at no. 20-56 picks now. Look at Wiseman. TJD 4yr college brings experience, maturity, confidence
That’s why he was drafted 56th
57th rather
If Tim Duncan came out of the draft today, he would be a 2nd round pick just cause he stayed in college for more than one year TJD hit the ground running
1:54
71.4 % still first though
sometimes it sounds like your voice mod glitches out mate. 5:00 is the mark
I'm so glad Steve Kerr gave him a chance, especially in the starting lineup. Once TJD & B-Podz became starters with Draymond & Wiggins, their defense skyrocketed. And when Warriors defense is great, they can be unstoppable like they were for many years. And they can all score points. Add Curry to that offense and they can be unstoppable. Make it happen Warriors! Beat the Kings. I kinda want them to play/beat the Lakers after beating the Kings. lol
Hey man, LOVE your content, but please, go check how to say Podz name, it's a Polish name, so its PodJemski
BIG LOVE FROM EUROPE ❤
I like TJD but I wish they would’ve kept PBJ (Patrick Baldwin Jr). I think he would’ve proved to be an asset.
I think they can still get him back during the off season
No, PBJ is still a project, hardly playing even for wizards
Bro warriors even trying to get wiseman back😂
I feel bad for Saric, he was doing so good, but these rookies are something else.
Saric no defense he's so bad
@@Andre-ri5nu yeah thats true, hes too slow
Slow, no defense, gone after this season anyway. He can shoot tho, but hardly anything else
He played the five in college, but not the most traditional center. He's a PF by NBA standards, but he was IU's 'big man'
He would be so nice on the pacers
I put the odds of Carlisle letting him actually play somewhere around 0%.
Bro its not about which team took him at what round... Its the just the market of GSW is so huge. That they make it seem like any players is a breakout player. Too much media on that team. Hes exactly where he should have been picked lol. Cant do much more then pick and roll.
Basically he's a more athletic version of his old man. Sounds like the Warriors can start shopping around Draymond Green (and the drama that comes with him) because they've got a young guy who's ready to take over for him.
W video
U said the figures backwards, it's 71.4%
#strengthinnumbers
Damn HR , I went to the game last night and TJD got cooked by LeBron, BUT he also forced him to take a step back instead of getting Posterized 🤫 how you feel about that last 147 turning into 19 minutes? Crypto was livid 😅
That's the point, didn't you see? Warriors are fine with bron shooting, but limiting his drive to basket is more important because getting his team mates involved. Gave Bron his 40, but other than DLo, nobody scored more than 20. Rui and reaves got locked down for 14 and 11 points. The rest of Lakers is single digit
He’s got talent for real. Curry makes people better just being on the court though.
Scouting NBA talent ain’t easy, that’s for sure.
Question: do you think TJD would be as successful if the Wizards, Charlotte or the Knicks drafted him? I think Trace is in the best coached team in the league
Kerr is not the best coach on developing talents 😂 Mike Brown is, Atkinson is. But I still believe if hornets, knicks drafted him, he still would be significant. He ain't Wiseman
@@lucky889s9 Warriors is a flawed team. Too many injuries and undersized players. i think Kerr is maximizing and squeezing every last ounce out of an average team. Finally had to trust the rookies due to injuries and Draymond being a knucklehead. An average coach couldn't get on a roll like the warriors are on for the past 8 weeks. Im not sure if Mike Brown would have done better. A healthier and younger Sac team isn't impressive at the moment. With that roster, they should be ahead of the pelicans whose star can't stop eating. What the heck happened to wiseman?
@@kyul9357yeah, but not that many proven coaches available right now. You know what happens to bucks with doc. Kerr played rookies because the old guys like Looney, Wiggins, Klay don't deliver much anymore. Wiseman can't play ball other than being tall. Check the stats in detroit
Best coached team in the league? Why is Draymond allowed to do whatever he wants with no consequences? He’s not even close to the best coach in the league. Hey Steph shoot the 3 😂😂
The Warriors could be facing the Monstars with the aliens stealing all their powers and a 6 man team and this guy would convince you the Warriors could win 😂
If the warriors won the chip last season, they wouldn't have gotten Podz and TJD
I’d honestly have a 5th chip over the 2 rooks, even though they are amazing
Too bad we didnt
GSW doesn’t get the respect for their scouting and drafting that they deserve. Modern NBA fans are absolutely clueless.
I mean yea, imo he’s gonna be on Aaron Gordon level but 50 picks later lol
NBA scouts: 6’9 too short we need a 6’10 and above only
Easy answer ,tjd agent in mike Dunleavy family member, made a deal with him to take him in the second round.
He put the whole country of France in the basket
Alexander City, AL
TJD looks like tracy mcgrady 😂
NBA scouts :👨🦯 warriors coaching and development staff 💪💪
U meant 71.4 % instead of 74.1%
Nice development after the "Wiseman non-era."
TJD is what they hope Wiseman would be. What a bust for no. 2 pick
The Warriors are good at development.
sometimes I remember you are a warriors fan haha
Tdj will be even better if he develop a jumpshot team leave him open for jump shots because they know he not gonna shoot the ball💯no 3pt I’m talking bout the post and mem range
The audio shift kind of threw me off.
He was born in 2000 and ppl think he’s past his prime? Dude I was born in 97 im not not even 30 yet 😂 y’all tripping
I agee! 3 yrs difference man i mean its stupid AF! People dont have thoughts anymore they just repeat what the hear these"pro" scouts say... clueless!
All rookies look good when they play the GSW system.
Future warriors lineup
1. goatziemski
2. Moody
3. Kumbucket
4. TJD
5. Zach Edey
He wouldve gotten drafted earlier in the 2nd round but his agent told the teams if you cant gurantee playing minutes dont draft him. A lot of teams stayed away because of it. Their loss, warriors gain.
Same shit's gonna happen to edey. NBA scouts are chasing a trend, and people are going to be shocked when edey (2x cpoy) develops into a good player
Same as kuminga Tjd overshines or got unlocked cause of cp3
