Thanks Royal Family, that was the worst 38 million bucks you've probably ever spent.
If you saw the Queen's face at the wedding, she knew that very well. 😠
£ 42 million GBP... we the British taxpayers got well and truly ripped off.
It was not paid by the Royal Family! It was the British taxpayer, which is even more insulting!

There's a dumpster two blocks away that would be the perfect spot for those crystal wedding gifts. Who would want anything with their names on them? If you're looking to resell them, I'd look up some of the Sussex Squaddies or maybe Christopher Bouzey. Oh, you could call up Oprah and ask if she wants her commemorative crystal geegaws from Harry and Meggi's wedding back. Or, maybe it's George Clooney's. Whatever you do, I'd get rid of them fast; they're probably cursed.
Haha so true!! 😆
Harry was never Prince Harry of Wales
Very funny I agree .
Yes they can end up on Oprah’s Favorite Things.😂
Before he was married, he was known as Prince Henry of Wales. Henry being his correct christian name and Wales because his father at the time was Prince of Wales. The same as the children of Prince William, who were known as the Cambridge children until their father became Prince of Wales, now they are known as the Wales children.
Be careful you might have a "2 hour near catastrophic car chase in NYC" 😂😂😂😂
Very funny
Royal Brierley is a local crystal company here in The Midlands UK this company and Stuart Crystal are famous companies here in the uk every thing is hand blown and made by craftsman. Both have showrooms you can look around. These pieces would have been very expensive and were made for the public to buy as commemorative pieces. The royal crest is given to them to use by royalty who use their goods or services. I lived in the area these were made, whole families worked for same company sons followed fathers and uncles into glass blowing and cutters. Not sure if many people in the UK would want you to buy them now. Other commemorative pieces normally increase in value.
Hi Doris , I’m from brierley hill ,still here xx respect to you for calling this out , cheers mate ,x
Thanks for comment ..I emailed the company and they are not responding...plus none are for sale online..crazy.
As an English person, let me explain: Before Elizabeth the 2nd died Charles was the Prince of Wales. Before marriage, Charles' sons, William and Harry have also held versions of that title. Harry's full title was His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and William used the same format until he was given the formal title His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge when he married Kate Middleton. After Harry married he was given the title the Duke of Sussex by the Queen. It's complicated but that is the explanation of why Harry is being called the Prince of Wales on these items.
Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense.
My wedding crystal is Stuart, I am the only one who didn't go with Waterford, but I believe Waterford has acquired their works now and that no longer sell as Stuart.

And in the landfill of many countries too
But it was a best-seller.
It came out in January, and was the most discarded book by that summer. Booksellers were overwhelmed by people wanting to sell them to them and stopped buying them. They were discarded all over hotels and beaches. The sales were high at first and then dropped quickly. More curiosity than anything else. You could read what was in it in articles if you were interested. I have read bits and found them to be snarky and angry. A whole book of this? No thanks.

one of Britain's longest running crystal makers ...George 5th awarded them a Royal Warrant back in the day, the crystal makers fled to England as Huguenots, ( french protestants fleeing catholics during religious war ) they are one of the only companys in uk to have the royal stamp year after year for so long, i think you paid the right price for them, might go up in value once they divorce or end up in prison..then the names will be infamous and maybe collectable, you could sell them in the ghetto where they have their 14 to 17 sugar fans who might swap food stamps for them.

Wedding Souvenirs are NOT Wedding Gifts. The title is misleading.
the company is not responding as why they made them and none are for sale online....im thinking gifts for the guests.
Wedding souvenirs are just that. I have a crystal bell I bought at St Paul’s Cathedral. It is for Princess Diana’s wedding to King Charles. I’m sure it’s only important to me because I had so much respect for Diana. I have a Red Book type program for Queen Elizabeth’s wedding to Prince Phillip. I even found a piece from Queen Victoria’s wedding. I sure wouldn’t want the ones you have. Although it might say Wales as a last name because Harry and Meghan were given the Sussex name after they married. Souvenirs had to be made way ahead of the wedding.
Prince Harry did use the surname of Wales while serving in the Military and was given the title Duke of Sussex on his wedding Day... The title is correct as it was used before his wedding when the items were made...
Absolutely not wedding gifts.

Great explanation thank you. Does that now mean that Prince George's full title is His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, and ditto for Charlotte and Louis? And can you please tell me if the Prince and Princess titles can be removed from the Sussex children once Prince William becomes King, as they will no longer be grandchildren of the King. Cheers. 🇳🇿
At the time Charles was Wales bc he was THE Prince of Wales as the Queen's heir. Prince William's kids became Cambridge's by title and now that Charles is king, William as his heir is the Prince of Wales & Catherine THE Princess of Wales. Camilla was actually THE Princess of Wales when she married Charles but forbidden to use the title out of respect for Diana. Although when Diana died she was no longer THE Princess of Wales just Princess of Wales.
@@bluemoon5662 Harry needs to be removed from the Line of succession and so does Andrew. Charles shouldn't have issued the kids' titles but he's weak. My guess is that MEgain sent letters from their attorneys demanding the titles. Both kids already had courtesy titles from Harry---Dumbarton & Kilkiel but she refused to allow the kids to use them. They are most probably souvenirs for their wedding. After they left, a lot of their souvenirs were sold for peanuts. Even MadamToussaud's took their wax figures out of The Royal Family section and put them somewhere insignificant
They would possibly have been made to sell in stores such as Harrods to commemorate the wedding. If they were gifts to guests well let's face it they admitted they hadn't met many of the guests before the wedding so it would not be unusual to ditch something given to you by someone you don't know if it is not to your taste.

The black and white photo with Meghan holding her easier to tell, despite Misan photoshop.A reveal I believe concerning both children isn't far away now that has been shut down. The law on not giving legal name giving marriage vows won't be enforceable retrospectively due to the fact there were literally millions of witnesses, and on the actual marriage certificate the full legal names are used.
@@Chris-rz7xiNo it's not. It's the Registry that makes it legal. It's why you have to produce such documents as birth certificates, or marriage certificates as proof when applying for government type stuff like passports, state pensions, etc. If it was the spoken vows which counted, the Diana and Charles wouldn't have been legally married as Diana spoke Prince Philip's name instead of Charles'.
Omg, that was the best answer, "Never heard of them" 😂Hahaha. Did you pay $40 for each?! I thought you're suppose to get things cheaper there. The crystal is pretty, too bad someone else's name wasn't on there though besides MM. It made me wince when I heard you say it!
Thanks !
Maybe you could offer them to Megan to sell on her new website!
Welcome Back !!
Thanks !
They are just commemorative gifts for public to buy to remember the disastrous day found in a flea market along cheap items and trash where harry and meghan belong in my opinion 😉
Thats what I thought but there are none online for sale and the company has not responed to my many emails.
Is that Harrys first wifes salad tossing bowl?
😂 thanks for letting us know
That engraving is not correct as her name should have been Rachel Megan Markel as she signed her marriage certificate With Megan Markel the certificate is void
They are not legally married.it is only a wedding souvenir like all the Souvenirs,. There are Souvenirs from the Queen All the weddings have t- towels mug cup and saucer The Golden Jubilee or Princess Anne when she got married. The vase and the bowl is only what you would buy to remember the wedding. Someone didn't want to remember the wedding so they gave the present away.
She didn’t even use the correct names in the wedding service
And Harry’s official title is not Prince Henry of Wales. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. They’re duds.
B.S. You wish!
@@user-ky2xo2ls4mHarry was not made Duke of Sussex until after the wedding.
@@user-ky2xo2ls4mwrong he was Prince Henry of Wales at the time the goods were produced. He only became The Duke of Sussex after the wedding as a gift from the Queen.
