It's a cake stand. I have one similar to the one showed in the video. I think it was like $20 USD? Anyway - another way to form the lip would be to press it into a foam cushion. It can shape it and round off the edges too. It actually might make forming the lip easier than if you used a cake stand. Can't say I e ever done it personally, but I've seen it done and it's pretty cool. 😅

Its easier that way; you can still make it without the spinner, no problem.. just rurn it by hand/walk around it
