As you were driving out of the barn, I was remembering how much you and Brooke have accomplished over the past year. A barn that is finished inside and out, new fenced pastures and a newly drilled well, very impressive. A look back over the time since you took over this new property with all that you have managed to do leaves me amazed. They was fun, I think the Emus and geese will enjoy that pond. It was fun watching you herd the geese, lol. It's amazing how they all stay together.
Jason , I understand how you could be frustrated by not having all the tools loaded to install gates. But here's a different perspective. Just think how much time would have been dedicated to searching for those tools if you had not previously organized the tool area. You could have spent at least one full day just searching. It was fun seeing Brooke helping herd your gaggle of feathered babies. Do not be surprised if one morning you see white feathered beauties floating on the pond - on their own terms, of course. At the end of the video I was shocked Jason was able to lie to The Boss Lady Peaches with a straight face! That one infraction could lead to many extra belly rubs and treats. Just saying.

You two have such a loving, caring, respectful, prized relationship as husband and wife and best friends. Everyone can see clearly how much you like and admire each other. You lead by example and offer so much more than I think you realize. Watching your channel is so rewarding and insightful on how a good marriage should work. And you have set the example for MaryCarl to choose the right husband. This is so very important in life.
Please keep on doing what is right & kind. The world needs more examples like you.
If you can get the geese and ducks in the lake paddock it would save you both having to fill the plastic ponds for them every day...I wonder if when you transfer them you take away all their facilities from the old pasture. It might give them a king size hint that it's time to move.
Jason you would make a great teacher. I hope eventually you could teach a small gardening class for elementary school aged children. You and Brooke know how important it is to get the next generation interested in gardening. Maybe an interactive book. A book that comes with seeds. A family can do it together. What a great gift that would be.
Holly was outside the fence thinking, “Jason! Come by! Brooke, “away to me!!” “Walk up, walk up!” Oh what fun! Easier than herding cats, anyway!

Nugget was shooing the geese out of HIS pond! LOL! Holly was running along the outside of the fence saying, " You're doing it wrong!! Do it like this, NO....go the other way!!!! Now come back around......NO....go back to the left, now the right!! You should let me in there to show you how it is done!!! LOL! God Bless!
It is a wonderful new play ground for all! I think Goldie needs an ankle bracelet for Christmas. Then Brooke can immediately identify her. 😊
Brooke, it depends on your autoimmune diagnosis. A lot do not have an exact med. Lupus does. Changing diet (a lot of veggies) really helps…foods that do not trigger inflammation.
I don't think Brooke lacks veggies. Have you seen how many they grow?
Definitely....getting rid of the foods that trigger inflammation are what made a drastic change for me!!
Carnivore can help, too. I'd have my hormones checked, too. I'm praying our Heavenly Father comforts you, Brooke, and provides answers for you. ❤

Lectins only come from plants. Lectins produce inflammation. Peel veggies and don’t eat their seeds to reduce lectins. Read No Grain, No Pain by Dr Peter Osborne.

Jason you are such a amazing support for Brooke she definitely needs it more now than ever! I have been dealing with this for almost 7 years now it no walk in the park! Brooke im glad you are taking it one day at a time that's all we can do in this club that no one wants to be a member of! Stay strong they will figure you out and once you have a answer it does help a lot! Love the pond and all the babies that are enjoying it! Sending healing prayers your way. Stay strong family!!! 🥰💙💜

Brooke, steroids will make you feel like you could build a house in a day. Don’t build that house girl, you will feel it down the road. It’s good to feel better, but remember it is false energy in a sense. So when the course is over you will want to have rested so you aren’t too sore. Just a warning from part of the sisterhood who lives with autoimmune issues. More good news though. Once you see a rheumatologist and get a firm diagnosis, there are some really great new infusions available for the long term. They will get you to feeling so much better, I promise, but it will take rest and patience. And most of all, give yourself the grace to go slowly in your journey. I think of it like this. Autoimmune disorders are the universe telling us to enjoy each and everyday, at a nice slow and steady pace, not wide open. When I remind myself of this and give myself the grace to take my time, I still have all the joy I’ve always had. I just don’t get it all on Monday. I spread it out through the week! I wish you joy on your journey. This can still be your best year and your best life 🫶
What a great explanation of how to cope with autoimmune diseases! In a way, I am lucky, because my back will not let me overdo. I can work for 15-20 minutes, then have to sit for half an hour or so. It is all relative.
Hollie has to bring you so much joy. She exudes happiness in every thing she does. She is living her best life with the person she adores. Makes me smile EVERYTIME I see her.

Hey Jason, often when I work on repeated projects, I will forget a part or tool too. I would never think negative of any of the hard work you perform. I just think, we are all in the same wagon. We all do the same forgetful things because we are so busy doing, doing, doing. You and Brooke are not afraid to work.

It was so good to see Brooke out and feeling better. I know seeing the geese out in the pond made her heart happy even if it was a short time. I believe that over time they will enjoy the pond if you take their pools away, they will go down to the pond to "bath".

Cog hill farm has got to be a piece of heaven. Your critters big and small are all so healthy and happy, your garden is so perfect and your farm like I said before is a little piece of heaven. Something I really admire you for is not having so many babies that it's crowded , this way we can get to know each and every one of them personally, their funny actions and see how they show you their love . Hey just wanted to say I have rheumatoid arthritis and I’ve been on prednisone before when my flare ups don’t respond to anything. When I come off it it usually lasts for awhile for me about 1-2 months after I come off them. Hopefully by the time Brooke needs to come off the steroids the doctors have figured out what she has and has a plan to mange it. It’s always a great day when I get the notification that Cog Hill farms have uploaded a new video.

Jason you’re going to need a clipboard checklist at your workbench or use an Alexa Checklist on your phone, we all need one meg of extra memory, it happens to me when I go shopping. Jason I thought you and Nugget were going to do an Emu Pond happy dance, looks like Goldie likes to take in the big picture and Nugget likes to Herd Geese. Being the spouse to a chronically ill person is not an easy job. I know my husband struggles daily with helping me remember medication and watching my food and drink intake.

Good Morning CogHill Farms.. I always looked forward to collard greens, they’re my favorite.. I love them.. However, I find in the past few years, I can’t eat a lot of my favorite foods.. they don’t agree with my digestive system anymore in my old age!
