A problem in our society is that it’s really hard to find a way to hold someone like this accountable for their actions until they actually do something extreme. Abuse shelters, police won’t do anything until there’s physical evidence. So, you can know someone is dangerous and you can’t do anything. It’s scary.

The killer has probably surrounded themself with enablers. And if someone around them is free thinking enough to see past the mask, they have probably been gaslighted and victimized, discredited.
Hopefully, someone will speak up. And who they tell takes them seriously. For someone to do something like this, they must have turned off all humanity and I do think they enjoyed doing this.

DNA results would’ve come back by now and they don’t have anything with that or else they would’ve served a warrant and made an arrest by now. So the person isn’t in the system most likely or didn’t leave DNA at the crime scene (hard to believe). LE relies heavily nowadays on DNA and finding a weapon which they don’t have either. Surveillance seems lacking in the case also which is also heavily relied upon by LE and can’t say I blame them for all of that. This is gonna take some great detective work and profiling work. The killer will slip up with their grandiosity and hopefully police can capitalize on that mistake.

@@HighlySensitiveHealer - I'd imagine there'd be a lot of types of DNA (hair, skin flakes, bodily fluids) and fingerprints of several individuals (plus clothing fibres, footprints, tire treads, etc), beyond the 4 women who lived in the home, because of the frequent parties they held, and visitors to their home (including boyfriends/girlfriends). If any DNA found in the home doesn't make a hit on police/FBI records, it could be because the person(s) hasn't been booked for a past crime where DNA is required, or some Moscow students or residents haven't offered their DNA to law enforcement.
I wonder what other forensics they're waiting on - toxicology reports often take several weeks.
It's surprising the number of homes that don't have security cameras there, but it's a small-ish town/city of 25,000 - half of which are college students, many of whom will move away after they've graduated.

{ NEWS STORY}That LE received a 911 call stating unconscious person. The reason for that is, when the two surviving roommates woke, they saw Ethan in the hall of the house. They left the house terrified one fainted. The other called 911. In her state of mind she only said,
unconscious person, when LE got there, then LE was told look in the house. LE found Ethan on the floor in the hall.

He prepared not to leave evidence. Victims were covered up with blankets reducing blood splatter. Stab wounds were immediately fatal. If law enforcement solves this I will be surprised. Did we forget that the nice killer only stabbed four people in two rooms? It is not like he or she went to four rooms to stab four people; each room had two, so it only makes sense to take them both out. If the killer wanted the other two girls he missed, he would have toured every room to ensure he didn't miss anyone. So, in my opinion, the person that he or she was going for had someone with them; therefore, take out the witness. He or she didn't get the target in the first room he or she went to, so the person continued on until he or she found the person he or she was looking for. Sadly, the target was sleeping with a bystander who the killer could not allow to be left unchecked (alive).
