Sky Whale heavy-lift VTOL drone was demonstrating a cargo delivery like this: it took off with the cargo, flew to the target point, and landed there. At the target point, one operator took the package out and press a button on the VTOL to enable it to fly back to the take-off point. The whole process was totally in autonomy.

good project, flight seems little unstable from camera video stream

looks like the plane is slipping badly in turns, due to adverse yaw. time to induce some yaw mixing. it's the KFF_RDDRMIX parameter in arduplane, assuming you are using arduplane... also, the yaw balance tracking does not appear to be active right after the transition. That is default. is it turned off? anyway, looks great. would have been nice to see a back-transition. and yaw/pitch PID's will be hard to tune well with the pusher config using the control surfaces directly in front of the pusher prop..

Thanks for the comment! Yes, we were using the default setting for the KFF_RDDRMIX parameter in that flight and already increased the value for current parameters. Yes, the yaw balance tracking was turned off.

@@yangdaonline in the latest stable version, there is a way to AUTOTUNE yaw as well. but PID's are best tuned manually.
