Imam Ibn Tayymiyah's Phenomenal Advice To Who Has Completely Lost Control Of Himself | Abu Bakr Zoud

  • A man asked Ibn Tayymiyah,
What is the cure for the one who has been controlled by desire?
And what is the way out for the one who has been dominated by chaos and confusion?
And what should the one who has been overcome by laziness do?
And what is the path to success?
And how can the one who has been overtaken by confusion escape this?
Every time he seeks closeness to Allah, his desires prevent him from doing so?
And every time he seeks to remember Allah, he is overwhelmed by Dunya-related thoughts.
And whenever he wants to do productive work, he loses his motivation to do so.
In this video I'll read and explain the advise Ibn Tayymiyah gave.

    1. Attach yourself to Allāh like a baby to his mother
    2. make dua at time of acceptance (last 3rd night, between iqama and adhan)
    3. make as much istighfar as possible
    4. do the adhkar at the morning (after fajr) and evening (after assr)
    5. commit to the adhkar before sleep
    6. be patient, calm and relaxed until Allāh grants you success.
    7. complete your 5 daily prayers internally (with heart) and outwardly (with body)
    8. let „la hawla wa quwatta illa bi Allāh“ your most uttered words
    9. Never give up your Du‘a
    10. Remember that victory comes with patience and relief with difficulty and hardship.
    Pure gold. JazakAllāhu kheyr!

You'll be full of hope Inn Sha Allah :)
First and foremost feeling guilty for sinning or after sinning is a blessing
      Prophet Muhammed SAWS said :
" *The believer sees his sins as if he was at the base of a mountain, fearing that it was about to fall upon him.* The wicked person sees his sins as if (they are) flies are hitting his nose" he said: "Like this" - motioning with his hand - "to get them to fly away."
      Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2497
As human beings we are bound to sin and made weak and fragile but we should never despair in the mercy of Allah SWT or stop ourselves from seeking Allah's forgiveness
This Ayah /Verse is know as the Ayah of hope, Quran.. Surah Zumar, Ayah 39
Allah SWT said " * Say: 'O My worshipers, who have sinned excessively against themselves, do not despair of the Mercy of Allah, surely, Allah forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful* "
Allah SWT promised us that he will forgive us all the sins minor and major if we seek his forgiveness and repent back to him sincerely and with guilt and the conditions of repentance which are as follows
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
      1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah
      2. Regret the sin we did
      3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (This Dua'a)
      4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
      Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again

Allah's says in Surah Sajdah about sinners.. Not just normal sinners but sinners who committed major sins like shirk, fornication and those who commit murder
They will have severe punishment *except those who repent*
But what about the sinners who sincerely repents back to Allah?
About those major sinners Allah SWT says in Surah Furqan , Verse 70
" *Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful* "
So not only does Allah SWT forgive us for our major sins but Allah SWT with his unconditional love and limitless mercy for us *ALLAH SWT WILL CONVERT OUT BAD DEEDS INTO GOOD DEEDS* 😭❤️
It can't get more beautiful than this wallahi

*Allah has 100 loves for us. He has given 1 to this World and we are able to love one another. The balance of His 99 loves await us in the hereafter.*
*As such, how great a mother's loves is nothing as compared to Allah's* ...
No matter how much we sinned or we will sin
The only thing we should do is turn back to Allah SWT seeking his forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him SWT

Patience is a huge test too, because often times we want quick fixes. We need to walk the process and the difficulties. If it were easy and quick fix, it may open the door to ujub. This is another one of my actual struggles.

*EMOTIONAL MESSAGE TO THE SINNERS* 🌸, Please read completely
*if Allah SWT promised that he will always accept our repentance as long as it is sincere, Never be hopeless but be with full of hope and repent everytime we fall*
Smile my beloved brothers and sisters🌹 ,There are more good news for us 👇🏼 🌸
      A) Our beloved Prophet Muhammed SAWS said : " *Every son of Adam is a sinner and the best amongst the sinners are the ones who repent* "
      B) Allah SWT said in Authentic Hadith: " *oh Son of Adam, You sin day and night and I forgive all this sins* "
      C) Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said: "By Him in Whose Hand is my life, *if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.* "
      Read this powerful Ayah 👇🏼
This is the beauty of Islam, Allah SWT loves us so so so much, more than anyone ever can
*Allah has 100 loves for us.
Never let shaitan make us despair in the endless mercy and unlimited forgiveness of Allah SWT
Any time we sin, seek Allah SWTs forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him In Sha Allah
May Allah SWT bless you and your family
May Allah SWT forgive all your sins
May Allah SWT convert all your bad deeds into good deeds
May Allah grant you and your family the best in this Dunya and Aakhirah

According to the video by Abu Bakr Zoud¹, Ibn Taymiyyah's advice to someone who completely lost control of himself can be summarized as follows:
    - He should repent to Allah sincerely and seek His forgiveness and guidance.
    - He should increase his knowledge of Allah and His names and attributes, and reflect on His signs and blessings.
    - He should increase his worship and remembrance of Allah, especially the obligatory prayers, fasting, charity, and reading the Quran.
    - He should avoid the causes of temptation and desire, such as bad company, idle time, and exposure to immoral media.
    - He should seek the company of righteous people who can help him and advise him.
    - He should be patient and perseverant in following the truth, and not give up hope in Allah's mercy and grace
