    I think Americans, Australians, British, Canadians and everyone else around the world should boycott Dubai.

    • @debidevalois4881
      @debidevalois4881 Před 4 lety +18

      Yes absolutely. It's beyond horrific that any human is treated this way. But a princess, the daughter of the ruler of Dubai to be treated this inhumanely twice for years at a time is just grotesque. Yes, by all means this country should not be supported monetarily. Money talks! Apparently, beyond the glitz and glamour there is an abhorrent human rights tragedy going on here. As Tina said, if they treat family this way think how badly all other women are treated. Apparently, money and reputation are the only things that get their attention. We can speak their language too...by withholding it!
      Lastly, my thoughts and prayers are with you princess Latifa. I'm sure there are millions that support this and others like you. Thank God for those doing everything in their power to free you. I too think you're alive. My deepest prayer is that you Latifa will turn to the Lord God Almighty because he will free you, even while locked up. He will give you hope and the peace that passes all understanding in the midst of all your pain and torment. He will give you the mind of Christ and strengthen you with all power and fight your battles for you. He is the God of Love and justice. He promises to never ever leave you or forsake you. I believe He will make a way of escape for you Latifa. You're an extremely special young woman and God has been with you from the beginning. He has a special gifting and calling on your life. I believe in you, your mission, and we love you and pray for your safety and swift escape! God bless you Latifa! He helped others escape their captors and He will help you also!

    The last time I visited was 20 years ago and I decided that this was a country that I did not wish to visit again after being treated so abominably by a customs officer. My son, at the time was 8 and, upon presenting our passports to the customs officers, he completely ignored me and started talking to my son. I interjected and said to the customs officer if there was a problem he should be addressing me and not my son, as he was a minor. The customs officer took exception to me addressing him, and I was really annoyed by then, and he directed us to a room, where we were kept for over an hour, and almost missed our flight, without anyone coming to speaks to us and vowed that I would not visit a country where women were treated as second class citizens.
    I feel so sorry for this woman, and women in generally in Muslim countries - disguisting. Boycott the country

      @Richard Powers You must be Muslim or stupid westerner if you believe my bad experience in Dubai equates with the saying "when in Rome do as the Romans do". By virtue of the role of the customs officer even with his bigoted beliefs he should have been trained to approach an adult female with a young child, with respect, as common sense should dictate that any query would be dealt with quickly and effectively dealing with that adult without addressing the child irrespective of religious background. Even your response indictates your lack of basic understanding of the situation. Reconsider the drivel you have written and re-read my account to fukky understand tge meaning behind thd account. How pitiful and pathetic.

She seemed unable to talk and totally disconnected as though she were lobotomized and someone had cut her tongue. That was about 6 months ago. Now Haya is in London on asylum waiting for the trial she will be faced with Sheik Maktoum she is trying to divorce and keep her kids away from . Seems like she has finally learned something horrible about the man she was married to. Took her a long time. A decade !

    In some countries women are treated like second class citizens. It's heartbreaking how we are treated in general but this is disheartening. Not knowing if your friend or family member is dead or alive is so cruel. I pray she's safe.

      She did a mistake by not letting know Indian NGOs of human rights but texting her relatives back to UAE before arriving in GOA !
      As per extradition norms India cashed her in exchange of some rogue wanted !
      Wrong move by India though, but her fault that she didn't plead for temporary asylum in India before escaping to UK !🤷‍♂️
      Bad overall planning by that so called ex french spy!😐

      Well, she was doing the best she could considering, as she herself admits, she was raised beyond-sheltered and falling into dangerously-ignorant about the world or even a lot of her own country. So were her friends and many kin. There was no one to get advice from (that she could trust, or who would help her), she was not allowed internet access that might've let her research stuff. That she even got as far as she did is a testiment to her amazing, burning hope and courage and, frankly, a lot of luck.
      But yeah, spy-dude should've been savvier...

      India did not sell her out,Dubai requested Interpol and a notice was issued by Interpol that the princess had been kidnapped...India only responded to the Interpol notice...the Interpol notice is in public domain..you can verify it..

      In exchange for terrorists & wanted arms dealers, wonder which Western government would not have deported her if UAE promised to deport terrorists wanted in your countries
