    An IQ test for employment is a type of psychometric assessment used by employers to measure a candidate's cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills. IQ stands for "intelligence quotient," and the test aims to provide an estimate of a person's general intelligence.
    In an employment context, IQ tests are often used to evaluate a candidate's potential to learn, adapt, and perform well in the job role. They can be a part of the pre-employment screening process, especially for positions that require strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
    IQ tests typically consist of a series of standardized questions that assess various cognitive abilities, including verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, logical thinking, spatial visualization, and pattern recognition. The questions may be presented in different formats, such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, or completing sequences.

    The answer to the last question is D. Although all the other answers have a valid points to be the answer, D is the most complex to choose out of the other options. The black on the shapes can be configured as a dark shadow. The shadow tries to hold itself up going top right but isn’t strong enough so it falls towards the left side. It then falls completely off, resting towards the bottom only. The shadow starts regaining strength again thou allowing it to stand back up right.

    • @Commander.and.Chief.Killua
      @Commander.and.Chief.Killua Před rokem +1

      I would definatly assume that the answear for the last one would be D because I don't see the colors mirroring, I just see the black colors moving with patterns. If you take a look at the figures at the top left corner, you see that there are 2 black colors, both in top right and top left, if you take a look at the shapes and colors towards the top right, it seems like the black color at the top left moved 1 down and the block color on the top right moved 1 left. And also if you look at the figures below the ones at the top left it seems like the same thing happend therefore the colors are moving counter clock wise, if the shapes and colors from the top right make a down(or below) the same thing will happen, which means that if the shapes total shapes make move towards the right or below, the black colors will move counter cloackwise. If black colors move counter clockwise when making a right or down then that means that the figures at the top right, the black colors will move, square to triangle and from heart to square, and also that if the shapes on the bottom left, make a right, then the black color of the aquire will move to the triangle and that the black in the heart will move town towards the square. Conclusion the black colors move counter clockwise whenever the the sets of shapes make a right or a down therfore the black colors from the heart abd the square will move all the way to the triangle and the square .

    For the second question, I had a slightly different Way of solving it: First of all, the upper pattern was: down, up, up, and the bottom: up, up, down. The only way to create diversity in the middle would be to make each arrow sit next to a different “up/down” piece. The first arrow was facing downwards, I assumed the 🚫 was an upward facing arrow, and I knew which downward arrow it was for the mid-third panel, since all the other downward facing arrows were facing bottom-left as well.

  • @kristiantzenov9688
    @kristiantzenov9688 Před 2 lety +84

    For the second question, the one involving the arrows, why do we assume that the sequence will have to be established by the right column? What serves as a catalyst for this? Given that the rotation is 90 degrees, either clockwise or counter clockwise would technically fit. The only reason I chose the right answer is that it creates a sense of symmetry in light of the entire patter.

      Since if we can't see what the middle box is, but we know that the arrow will be rotating either clockwise or counter clockwise.

      2nd question can be interpreted in numerous ways, which is why people claim either A or D. In my opinion, it makes it seem like this specific IQ test measures your knowledge about it rather than actually abbility of seeing a pattern. A very likely and logical patterns would also include noticing that the arrows move in a clokcwise direction on the top and bottom rows, which would help you notice that the answer for the 2nd row would be D.

Maybe it was supposed to be solved using symmetry, where the odd terms (SO, DO) were horizontally symmetric and the even terms were vertically symmetric (MI, x). C seems to be correct for the last question, however, I played the devil's advocate on letting the heart change to purple. I thought since there were three answers to the question with purple, which of the three purple heart answers would fit best. We decided on A because it sets a 3 - 1 dark to lighter color(in this case black to purple, and the triangles being light blue to black 3-1). so A is more eccentric of a pattern, and could be considered correct, if we consider blue and purple to be shades on a spectrum, and not 2 distinct separate entities. i.e. Blue vs. Purple. Probably wrong but this was still fun to look at!

    (There's an error in the Arrow Puzzle) The Correct way to explain the solution to the 2nd puzzle is that "A" is the correct answer because it completes the pattern of Arrows rotating Counter Clockwise within each Box that travels in a Clockwise Pattern around the center Block.
    - This was super tricky!!! First of all, because the reason for the center Box being blocked out appeared to be so ambiguous. Secondly, because it was super hard to imagine the arrows within each block rotating counter clockwise while at the same time imagining those boxes creating a clockwise pattern

    I don't understand why the answer to the second one is not D. Regardless whether the arrows turns clockwise or counter clockwise the arrow ends up 180 degrees out of phase from the first square to the third square. And if the columns are part of the sequence then the middle column doesn't match the sequence the same sequence as the top and bottom row. If A is the answer, the only way i can see how that works is the both the middle column and middle row would start in one direction, rotate either clockwise or counter clockwise in the middle, then return to the same direction by the third square or not move at all in the middle.
    I chose C for the last because the bottom left and top right square matched so I figured the top left, and bottom right square should match.

    • @demolitionvxy
      @demolitionvxy Před rokem +2

      You’re right that rotating the arrow clockwise/anti-clockwise does not result in the answer A. The correct answer is A, however I think the solution provided in this video is wrong.
      I believe the correct solution is that it’s an inverted pattern. So imagine a mirror placed diagonally across the grid, from the top-left corner stretching down to bottom-right. The arrows are inverted, like a mirror effect. This explains why the centre box is cancelled out, because it would break the inverted pattern as multiple arrows would overlap in the middle.

    For all People wanting to know the correct explanation for the 2nd question, this is for them
    The correct explanation is that every box has the same arrow for its opposite box
    An example: we see that bottom left corners's arrow is the same as the upper right corner, which makes the 2 boxes opposite to eachother as they are diagonal
    Same principle goes for all other boxes

    Multiple choice testing doesn't work for me. I love patterns, so all but two were easy for me. I say two, because, while the arrows were all in pairs, I quickly chose the right answer for the wrong reason. But the letters were my nemesis! After minutes of studying, I chose the correct answer for the wrong reasons again! I did not get president. I just used abstract logic to determine which letters were most likely to work with the example. Not my strong suit. The last one has to be C, or you're breaking patterns. I'm sure this is just a "feel good" pretend test, and the real thing would put me in my proper place. All the same, it was fun!

    Answer is C. Solid black heart is the only consistent throughout the puzzle. Everything else was placed there to trick the mind into thinking too hard

    Well this explains a lot on doctors stupide results, no offense towards other doctors but I did some of these and not even being tested after learning them was just thrown into them where I never done them sense the schools don't teach any of these! I love learning and sorts and glad that you of all people could explain this kind of stuff without rushing people and ask if any who took this while doctors told them they had illness without knowing these test to start with these things, I'm with this awesome guy, doctors in my area testing me as a kid while I was being abused force to being work as a dog and yet never once no one cared to explain these fun test if only had would had seen me and teach me like this instead of just putting me on meds against my will after my moms passing where I had to bury her at fourteen with huge depression instead of knowing that I would loved to learn all along this expect my head aches and leg issue and rare arm issue could have someone like this as a coach I'd visit to teach me and my kids if needed!

    For the Triangle, I counted inward out, but same difference.
    I couldn't figure out if the box of letters actually mattered. Like was it just a word missing letters or was it scrambled. I hate scrambling letters so I just skipped the question, but I didn't feel great about it.

    I got them all right using the dumbest reasoning for the hard ones and not even catching on to the patterns you showed lol
    1. Easy
    2. It can't be B cause then you would have two of the same arrow next to each other which doesn't look right. It can't be C cause having only one vertical arrow doesn't look right either. Can't be D cause having 3 of the same arrow also doesn't look right. Has to be A so that you have two of each arrow
    3. I've played words with friends so much I just knew by instinct I could make something using the letters R,D,N if I put some thought into it
    4. Easy
    5. Completely clueless when it comes to music, but it looks right to have two words that end in O and two words that end in I
    6. Easy

    the last one will be c
    because the colours of the heart and triangle are same with the question (black heart and blue triangle)
    and the colours of the quadrilateral and star are opposite (orange and black )

    For the second, it is important to point out that:
    Top middle = Bottom middle
    Top right = Bottom left
    Top left = Bottom right
    Left middle is most likely equal to right middle (which it was).
